Hotel Indigo Helsinki was my hotel of choice for my 3 night break in the city, and from the moment I checked in I was impressed with almost everything the hotel provided. The receptionist who checked me in was very warm and welcoming, and as a Diamond Elite member of IHG, gave me a very generous upgrade which was hugely appreciated.
The room itself was very well appointed, with lots of light, a very comfortable bed and lots of amenities. I was especially impressed by the mini bar which was complimentary due to the room upgrade - a very welcome and generous touch.
Breakfast was the only slight improvement I could find. The food and quality were excellent, but the breakfast host that was checking rooms and assigning you a table kept disappearing to clear tables - which meant queues to get a table built up each day. Once sat however, it was a great experience.
Overall, the stay was fantastic and the hotel was great quality. The staff were friendly, the room was great and its location is amazing. I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo Helsinki if you’re looking to stay somewhere in the city.

The Hotel Indigo offers modern comfort in the heart of downtown Helsinki. The king-bed rooms are spacious, sparkling clean, and well appointed, although the mattresses are a bit hard. The front desk was a little short in finding our two nights of stay, since our tour company had booked one night in my name and my night in my spouse's, and it was unclear to me how a room booked under a single, rather uncommon surname caused such a snag, but other than that we fully enjoyed our stay, the many breakfast options, and the hotel's excellent location, in walking distance to a variety of sightseeing experiences. Overall, very nice!

We had a great time staying in the hotel Indigo. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern style. Staff was really helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early which really made it easy for us just to head out to explore Helsinki.
We absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom with roomy shower. We started our day with their breakfast of great variety. They offer a buffet and also ordered warm breakfast from a menu, so you'll be sure to find something you'll like. The breakfast was available until 11 am and late checkout at 12 suited us perfectly.
We have absolutely nothing to complain about and hence we're happy to leave an honest 5 star review for the hotel.
Looking forward to stay here again!

-1 is due to breakfast service which I did not like. I stayed couple of nights. The breakfast remains the same throughout the stay which was really boring. Moreover the service of front desk is very food whereas people in the breakfast is relatively unfriendly and unkind and unfriendly and sometimes there was only one person who always had to let incoming customers await while she was cleaning tables or went to the backyard.
The location is perfect and very convenient to go to anywhere. 3 stations from the central by the tram.

I believe the price is quite reasonable in terms of its service and quality besides the breakfast. The breakfast is boring and too expensive with bad service.

Great hotel, the lobby is on the smaller side but the rooms are great! Check-in took a longer than expected, but I happened to check in when there were a lot of people. Hotel lobby only had two-counters so they could accommodate for anything faster.
The rooms are spacious and the shower is great! Breakfast was amazing. You get a hot dish and access to buffet table - so definitely upgrade for breakfast if you can. Breakfast time is strict and ends on time, which was perfectly fine for us - but did hear complains from other hotel-goers. 🤷🏻♀️

Excellent customer service - staff was proactive and engaging.

I was positively surprised by the hotel.
Lady at the reception was extremely nice. Room was outstanding - super clean and light, comfortable bed, a lot of towels and even a bathrobe. Teapot, coffee and even cacao was available in the room :) Very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was not excessive, but everything was tasty and fresh.
Location is very convenient as well.
I have asked the hotel for the invoice via email (forgot at the check out) and they have emailed it within 1 hour.
Rate was quite low compared to other major Nordic cities.
I feel sad that my stay was short and I could not use sauna. But I know where I would stay during my next stay!

Arrived late on a Wednesday night and was greeted by warm friendly smile at the reception - customer service was fantastic and didn’t manage to get the staffs name but thank you for the warm welcome! First time in Helsinki and this was a perfect location with food places all around and a short walk to the main city. There is also an underground parking garage which was great for us. The suana in the hotel only opens at specific timings unfortunately. Overall a great location of great value.

First time traveler to Finland. I’m so glad I booked the indigo. Absolutely perfect location, very comfortable beds, good showers. The bonus sauna and gym were a real treat. Sadly the steam room wasn’t working this time, but I’d give it a try next time.
The staff were all exceptional. Very friendly, all spoke excellent English and knew the area very well. Could not fault them at all.
PS- pay for the hotel breakfast, it’s VERY good.

Stayed here for 3 straight weeks from 17 Feb to 9 March, and from 1st impression this hotel is very cosy with warm and extremely helpful staff.
F&B was immaculate, and location is superb in the heart of Helsinki city central.
Highly recommend 1st time visitors to Helsinki to try Hotel Indigo as my group and me had a wonderful and unforgettable experience.
