I stayed here for three nights in September 2024.

The self check-in process is straightforward and doesn't take long.

The room was decent and had a kettle and and tea and coffee provision, a minibar, a safe big enough for a 15" laptop and some shelves and hanging space to store clothes so it would be a good option for a stay of a week (or maybe more) because you wouldn't be living out of your suitcase. There is good provision of sockets.

The room is 13.5 square metres, with 3 square metres of this being from the door to the main part if the room, so it is not a big room.

The shower room is fine and the shower cubicle is a reasonable size with good water pressure and the options of regular shower and rainfall shower.

The shower room is 3.0 square metres so it is big enough to fulfil its purpose.

The gym is open from 07:00 until 22:00 each day and has a limited selection of equipment. The pool is on the roof level and is open air with the saunas (separate saunas for male and female) are on the same level. The pool and saunas also open at 07:00 and close at 22:00 but are closed around lunchtime each day.

The breakfast area is a good size, with sufficient tables and seating, and there is a good choice of food on offer.

The hotel is about half a mile from the ferry terminal (West Terminal 2) and a short ride on a tram from the central railway station. The no 7 tram travels between the railway station and the ferry terminal and has a stop right outside the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel for stays of several nights because storage for clothing is somewhat limited, especially if two people were sharing the double room.

Good hotel for solo business trips. The sauna and the pool are extra nice. Perhaps the lack of a restaurant during the evening might be a downside.

Excellent hotel for business or city trip. The rooms are small but sufficient for a short stay. Breakfast outstanding and event has outdoor space for the summer days. Sky room and spa and open door pool on the roof!!!!

Amazing hotel a really nice walk from central Helsinki. We had a twin room, which was fine - petite but the bathroom was lovely and we could see the sea. They'd forgotten the crib we asked for, but brought it up within 5 mins of calling reception. The sauna and pool were amazing (although in September the pool was not warm enough for a baby). Breakfast was good - loads of options including bacon etc. Staff were really helpful.

Staying at the Clarion Hotel Helsinki was a fantastic experience. The modern design and stylish interiors create a vibrant yet welcoming vibe. The views from the Sky Room are stunning, especially at sunset. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel also offers good value for the price, with high quality at a reasonable rate. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool and sauna—it’s a perfect way to unwind while overlooking the city.

Stayed 5 nights in July 2024 and I can really recommend Clarion Hotel in Helsinki.
The hotel is quite new, the rooms where clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
The trams run every few minutes just outside the hotel.
Staff was polite and professional.

The hotel was amazing. We arrived very early in the morning on a flight from Reykjavik. While there initially wasn't a person at reception, he later came out of the backroom to help us check in. In the morning, we were happily greeted by a small breakfast spread for guests who have early travel plans (for us a cruise ferry to Tallinn, for others maybe a flight). Everything else went great for the stay. There were also always a few taxis in front. Location was also helpful for us as it was a brief 15-minute walk to the ferry terminal for our journey across to Estonia.

Excellent hotel near Helsinki city center. The view from the rool window was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and sauna on the roof top. The roof top bar was was also lovely, service was perfect and tiny binoculars were nice to have a look over Helsinki. Excellent breakfast on the outside terrace in the sun. Price was very low considering the high quality.

Comfortable beds and okay amenities even in the cheapest room. Close to the city centre but still a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Nice area with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Stunning view from the ‘Sky Room’.

I really enjoyed my stay at Clarion for business. It's a fairly new hotel with a good quality breakfast.
The only trouble is that curtains do not block the sun top and bottom, which makes it hard during Finnish summer. Also, the gym area is very small and gets very busy quickly.
