Stayed 4 nights. Cannot rate hotel or staff highly enough. Beautiful room in historic part of hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was warmly greeted.Absolutely loved my stay in Helsinki and would recommend this hotel, easily 10/10.

Nice hotel. Old part of the building is very cool but a little worn out.
Everything is in walking distance from the hotel.

The business room is spacious but in the old part of the hotel (19th century) very dark colours and „antique“ wooden furniture. The not so old art work had dents, walls were botched and scratched. The king size bed and bedding is very comfy. However, the shower is constructed wrong, which floods the whole bathroom after showering - very annoying.
Breakfast is great (as always in Radisson hotels) but some guests get more than necessary on their plates, end up throwing stuff away and make mountains of sandwiches and snacks to go which makes for a not so high-end atmosphere :-(
Same goes for the free water and sweets, where some guests think they need to bag those to go as well….

Where would I start? I have never experienced such comfort as in this hotel! Believe me, I've traveled quite a bit. We just traveled in Europe, climbed and backpacked in the mountains. It wasn't until our journey ended, and we arrived at this hotel, that I realized what a tired and frayed traveler I was! Namely, it felt like I had jumped on top of a big and fresh giant bun to sleep. There are pillows of different thicknesses and for the first time I found a suitable one here. The blanket was like a warm and fluffy cloud! Whoever designed this room deserves recognition! The ventilation is incredibly good! Wow, there are no carpets here. The lungs open up. If you ever need, say, just a time out, this hotel's room will make you forget everything else and you can just rest.
Finally, I would like to add to the review that the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The porridge was really good.

I nice, central hotel where I had a nice experience. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience trying to get in contact with the front desk to ask for a new invoice with a corrected name/address. Multiple calls, unreturned emails, promised replies and no response for 2 weeks I had to give up. Impossible to understand how sending an email invoice could be so difficult.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly during check-in, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect, just a short walk from public transport and major tourist attractions. But what truly stood out was the extensive breakfast buffet – an impressive selection that left me spoilt for choice. I also dined at the in-house restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the fine dining quality at the same price as other nearby restaurants. It's so convenient not to have to venture out, especially considering the higher costs of eating out and alcoholic beverages in Finland by international standards. This hotel certainly deserves a 5-star rating and comes highly recommended!

But I won't stay here again. I was so happy to finally leave
Tehy have really rigid policies and this is my first bad experience since before even stepping foot in the hotel.
I made a mistake and booked without breakfast so they wouldn't cancel. Or issue a receipt that had both breakfast and my room. Or charge me the rate of booking a breakfast directly with the room and this is specific not just to this hotel but the whole Radisson company follows this
The Internet in the room was unusable. Absolute sh.t. i couldn't get any work done
Bathrooms stink. They have a sewage smell coming out of them
The air conditioning cannot be adjusted
The chromecast is outdated
The room service never cleaned the room during my 5 day stay. They came in brought new coffee and tea bags. But didn't even make the bed or clean anything
The pillows are flat
The blankets have a tendency to warm up and become really really hot. So i woke up sweating multiple times.
The beds are so high and the bed side tables are so low. So it was really annoying to reach for things.
You will feel like you're in prison because the windows are so tiny and overlook other windows of adjacent buildings
The receptionist was amazing and catered to every need but I think the hotel needs some serious renovation. I stayed at hotel haaga the last time. It was amazing and much cheaper.
So generally i wouldn't recommend this place.
