I have looked forward and pre booked my accommodation with Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle since Feb 2024 for the trip in Sep. We were notified in July that their system has a glitch and booking error… the error should be informed in Feb or March. Not July.
Not my kind of place to go to even if they make any kind gestures and amends.

We came to the restaurant to eat. From the outside decor to the inside lobby area, it gives a warm and inviting vibe. The restaurant opens at 17:00 and from what I gather, if you stay at the resort, your main dish is free but all other items must be purchased. As non staying guests, we obviously paid the entire bill. We chose mocktails for drinks: blueberry lime and blackberry with ginger. Both were lovely. (More info given in the food section). The price was for a posh resort and the pretty display of the food. The servers were friendly and helpful and explained what it was you were eating (a refresher).

I will say that if you are seated by a window and it is dusty, ask them to wipe it down. We didn't, and it was a little unappealing to view while eating. For us, it was an experience we enjoyed but would not do again.

We stayed at the igloo for 3 days and 2 nights and what a great experience.
The igloo is very cozy and clean. The bad side is the fact that is too close to the neighbor so you have to keep your curtains close for privacy. Service provided was good and the reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful.
We had breakfast and main course dinner included and the food is delicious. The aurora alerts are amazing as well, we were lucky enough to be awakened by it and we could see the aurora right from the ceiling and outside of our room. There are lots of things to do around it and the place is kids friendly. We recommend and we’d come back.

During our 5 night stay, our expectations were exceeded. The setting and views were amazing and the restaurant was well above average - the service was very quick, the staff very friendly and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended.

This is the Wonderland itself! 🥰 Beautiful environment, fancy igloos, pleasant warm floor heating, super comfortable aurora alarm service, delicious menu in the restaurant, friendly staff, I can only talk is superlatives! If you can afford the price level, don't hesitate to go there!

We were really disappointed with our recent stay. The cost of staying here for one night, was the same as 3 nights in our hotel for the rest of the stay. However, we decided to stay in an igloo as a Christmas present to each other and a once in a life time experience.

When arriving, we had to wait 20 minutes before a member of staff spoke to us. The check in was disjointed with two members of staff half checking us in and our bags being assigned to another guest. There was no option of early check in so we explored Santa's Village and were told that our room would be ready at 4 and the bags would be delivered.

We returned at 4.30pm and were then checked in by someone else as we hadn't been checked in properly. My partner had an earlier flight than me, and when choosing our breakfast slot, the slots until 9am were 'full' due to a tour group checking out. After pleading, we managed to get a slot at 8.30am. Our bags were still waiting to be delivered and she explained they wouldn't be delivered for at least 30 minutes. We took them ourselves and arrived at the igloo which was extremely cold. Maintenance arrived quickly via the tablet messenger app and identified that there was an issue with the under floor heating. He spent time fixing it and the igloo began to heat up a short while later.

The igloo itself is a decent size with everything you could need, including a great hair dryer. We were given two robes however one was of high quality and one was thread bare.

Whilst there has been attempts to privatise the hot tub with wooden panels, we spent the evening in it with children sledging in front of it which was disappointing as we had chosen this for a special occasion. Compared to other experiences in the region and for the price; it would have been great for someone to clear the path to the hot tub and check the cleanliness levels etc. We are happy to do it ourselves but in every other destination for cheaper, staff have helped.

Upon check out, I wasn't asked how the stay was and remained in the lobby for 3 hours until my flight. No one asked if I needed a drink or a taxi, we weren't a priority for the hotel Compared to how other guests were treated upon arrival and departure.

This hotel prioritises tour companies so if your booked on a tour I'm sure you'll receive the service you've paid for.

Wouldn't return due to high cost and poor service.

Cosy rooms and wonderful view with the glass roof that you can heat up to get rid of the snow accumulated on top. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Their free breakfast was lovely as well! This was located just a few minutes' walk from Santa's Village and near the airport.

I loved staying here. It was magnificent and magical.
The igloo is as cute as a button. Warm and cost inside. It was very romantic.
Great walks can be taken around the hotel.
I built my first snowman here too- great for doing that too.

Unfortunately I couldn’t see the northern lights as it was overcast but I’m sure if we were treated to that it would have been even more awesome.

The hotel slippers are made of felt which is probably the best set of slippers I ever received.

The hotel makes a delicious chocolate alcoholic hot beverage. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was also the best breakfast I had in Lapland.

I would gladly come back here again.

Such a perfect place to stay near santa claus village. Easy access just 5min walk by foot to the village. Room is clean and cozy. Breakfast and dinner also so good👍👍

My stay at Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle was nothing short of magical! The igloos were well-appointed and offered breathtaking views of the starry night sky. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that my stay was comfortable and memorable.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from Rovaniemi city center, and the Arctic Circle was right at our doorstep. The highlight of my stay was, of course, the chance to see the Northern Lights from the comfort of my own igloo. I highly recommend Santa's Igloos for an unforgettable Arctic experience!
