We visited this hotel in summer, though it is probably better to visit in winter. The hotel consists of lots of cabins (“igloos”) each of which has a large windows that in winter allow you to see the night sky, in summer it lets you see the midnight sun, which may or may not be your thing. The hotel is near Santa’s village (maybe a 5 minute walk) so very convenient for this attractions. It is about a ten minute drive (or Uber ride) from the town. Staff were friendly and the room was very clean.

It is worth staying in a premium igloo with a sauna if you travel to Rovaniemi, especially for a honeymoon trip. The experience is truly magical and offers a unique blend of luxury and nature. Overall, staying in a premium igloo with a sauna in Rovaniemi is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is perfect for a honeymoon. The combination of luxury, adventure, and natural beauty makes it an unforgettable destination.

Overall it was a nice hotel with good service. Breakfast spread was pretty decent compared to your typical European breakfast variety. The main courses that is included in the booking was also not bad - we ordered the Scallop Risotto and Beef Tenderloin. The bed however was very soft, not for those who prefer firm mattresses. It was a pity as we couldn’t witness any Aurora due to cloudy weather so essentially it was cloud gazing instead of sunrise / star gazing / aurora sighting. Not sure if the area was actually able to view auroras as it was still pretty bright at night….

There are no words to say this hotel is super duper nice✨👍🏽

The igloo is beautiful, we didn’t get to catch the aurora because it is too cloudy, the morning view is better than the night view. We had a pleasant stay

Its located within the santa claus village area, require about 400m of walk, passing by husky ride, roasted salmon, restaurants before you reach to santa claus's office.
We spent a night in the igloo, with standard western breakfast provided.
The only thing i felt dissapointed was that, they provide complimentary dinner(main course) for all guest, but we are not being informed from check in time, end up, we bought our dinner as take away from near by restaurant, and was told to order the main course when we collect room key at the reception.
Worst was, they dont provide room service, we have no choice to carry 2 plates of main course back to our igloo.
rest is good beside this.

We stayed at Santa’s Igloos Artic Circle for four nights. The igloos rooms are small, nice in its way for two people, comfortable and cozy enough. Unfortunately, there was no northern lights during our stay due to the cloudy sky. The hotel is conveniently located about 15 minutes walking distance to Santa Claus Village. Breakfast and dinner (main course) were included on our stay. The restaurant is nice, the breakfast buffet has good variety, but only the deserts vary every day, the core items remained the same. Reservation is required for dinner; the main course choices are limited and the menu didn’t change for the nights we were there. The presentation of the food was elegant and taste was very good. The restaurant service was decent and the staff was attentive. We were so lucky to meet a very nice front desk staff member and her name was Lilly. We asked Lilly every night about the chances of seeing the northern lights from our rooms. She was super nice, patience, knowledgeable and professional. We did not have any luck in catching the aurora borealis from our room, however in our last night, on short notice, she helped us arrange for a private tour to go hunt for the northern lights. Thank you so much to Lilly and with some luck, we were able to see the amazing northern lights, our dream came true! Our Finland trip was so special and memorable!

One of the best stays we had in our travels around Europe. It is an expensive place but the staff and the service provided surely makes you feel worth the money. If you're lucky like us and see the northern lights from your bed that's the cherry on top.

It’s conveniently located 10mins walk from Santa Claus village. The room and service is excellent. However, if you are expecting to see aurora whilst lying in bed, it’s probably not going to happen. Given the nature of auroras, you really need to chase it. Which also means, the bulk of time, you are not in the room - which makes the ROI of a glass igloo rather low, given it’s so expensive.
