Hotel Apolonia Paris Montmartre, Sure Hotel Collection by BW in Paris

We stayed here at the beginning and end of a rail trip to Nice. The rooms are, as you would expect for Paris, quite small but serviceable enough. The bathrooms are tiny and the one in our first room was a miracle of engineering to get all that in the space of a large cupboard. Nevertheless it was all there and included very nice rainfall shower. Beds were comfortable and aircon efficient. The breakfast was comprehensive enough and the decor was refreshing. Staff were invariably friendly and helpful. Useful that although there is no room safe you can have an individual drawer safe in the reception area. The Hotel is a short walk from the Lamarck Caulaincourt Metro stop but do be aware that there is a flight of steps to negotiate across the road from the station entrance - so remember that when you are leaving and carrying luggage. Location of the Hotel is quite residential but there are plenty of places to eat and drink a short stroll away. Also easy to walk round the main points of interest in Montmartre - including the Sacre Coeur - but you will be going uphill a fair bit. Obviously the Metro being so close means its easy to get to the main sights of central Paris.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is in a quiet neighbourhood which is close to the metro and also bus services which could take you to Arc de triomphe, Eiffel Tower. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a boulangerie right next door which has really good bakes.

Such a great hotel in a fantastic location!! AC was cold, rooms clean, and beds comfortable. Staff went above and beyond by storing our cheese for us in their refrigerator for a few days while we went to south of France before returning back to Paris. Cannot say enough good things!! Great value for price. Less than 5 min walk to metro. Many food options very nearby. Front desk is staffed 24hrs a day and they were always willing to assist us. We stayed in twin room— twin beds right next to each other but with own bedding—room was small but comfortable. I would stay here again!

Could not rate this hotel any higher. Our trip has been amazing and made more so by the staff at the hotel; superb! Collectively, these are the most helpful staff we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Yes, as others have said, the rooms are small. We were staying for 3 days and out all day exploring Paris, so it was not a big deal. The bed was very comfortable, I'm six two and a big lad, and I slept well. One small criticism would be to upgrade the TV to a smart TV, it's nice to have some music/YouTube on while you're getting ready to go out.

Good value for money. Staff are friendly. Double room was recently renovated with loads of plug sockets and good lighting. Comfy bed with excellent pillows. Room was fine for one person but two with lots of luggage would find it a bit of a squeeze. Bathroom small but functional although you have to step sideways and up to get into the shower. Curtains effective. Nice neighbourhood with a nearby supermarket and lots of bars/restaurants. A couple of minutes walk to metro but this involves a flight of about 40 stairs. You can walk further to avoid them - in which case it takes about 5 minutes- but the metro station itself has stairs. Only issue is lack of sound proofing- internal and external. However the noise generally isn't too bad and I slept fine. There probably are better hotels at this price point in Paris but this one is a good option and I would definitely stay here again

Very nice hotel. It is in a nice residential areas with a nearby supermarket and lots of places to eat. Feels very safe. Hotel is a 3 minute walk from metro (station not fully accessible). Staff are lovely.

Curtains effective. Good shower. Only bugbear is lack of soundproofing, hotel isn't awful in this respect but could be far better.

Overall I think this hotel is good value for money and i would be more than happy to stay here again.

It's so clean and nice that I was planning to stay for one day, but ended up staying for three days. The staff are there 24 hours a day and are always friendly. They never treat foreigners badly.

Even though it was small, the room was very clean and welcoming.

Great location rooms are nice and clean, small and well appointed. Good location to use as a base for exploring wonderful Paris.
