Nice little hotel. Well situated, easy to walk to Lafayette, Opera, Louvre or Monmartre. Very lively area with bars, restaurants, pubs, but on a quiet street. The personel at the reception very nice and accommodating. As a down side, the rooms and bathrooms are very small, but everything it pretty crowded in Paris. Good quality for the price. I would recommend for city breaks/short stays.

This was unfortunately a terrible experience. We were a group of five women – myself, my sister, my mom, my grandmother, and my grandmother’s sister – so not exactly a group of young party girls. We arrived late in the evening (around 10–11 PM). At first, the older man at the reception seemed polite, but then he started asking irrelevant questions, which made the check-in take forever. At the end, he asked if we were going into the city and when we would return. I said I didn’t know, maybe late, and he insisted that he needed to know “so the hotel would be open.” I pointed out that the Booking.com listing clearly said the reception is open 24/7 (and it was even written on a sign right next to me), but he kept insisting. When I repeated that I had no idea what time we’d be back, he finally said he was “just joking” – which was not funny at all.

The next day, the morning receptionist was a younger guy who was very friendly and helpful – no problems at all. But in the evening, the same older man from the night before was back. My sister and I went out for a short walk, while the other three stayed in the room. When we returned about 15 minutes later, the hotel door was locked, and there was no one at reception. We knocked, waited, nothing. I had to call my mom in the room to tell her we couldn’t get in. About five minutes later, the man finally came down the stairs and unlocked the door for us.

When I got back to the room, my mom told me that during this time, the man had actually gone upstairs to their room, saying the door wasn’t fully closed. You had to push the door hard to close it properly, and apparently, I hadn’t pushed hard enough when leaving, so it stayed slightly open. But here’s the thing – how could he have possibly known this from downstairs at reception? And honestly, why was it even his business? To me, this seemed like just an excuse to go upstairs and snoop around our rooms. I truly believe he didn’t expect anyone to be inside.

Overall – creepy, unprofessional, and extremely uncomfortable. I have never experienced anything like this before, and I would never, ever stay here again.

Extremely disappointing and heartless customer service

I’m shocked and deeply disappointed by how this hotel treated me as a returning guest. I accidentally booked a 4-night stay for August when I had meant to reserve for September. As soon as I noticed the mistake, I contacted the hotel directly and also asked my travel agent from Expedia to speak with them on my behalf.

All I requested was to move my reservation one month ahead or, at the very least, offer me a partial credit or discount — even paying for 2 nights out of 4 would have been understandable. But instead of any empathy or flexibility, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the hotel staff over the phone. One of them actually told me they didn’t care about a bad reputation, and that since they had no guests in August, they “needed money now.”

So now my fully paid room — nearly $800 — is sitting empty, and they seem to think I’ll ever return? The only reason I booked again was because I had stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed it. But this recent experience showed me that this place is run by people who clearly care more about squeezing money out of customers than creating a loyal, happy guest experience.

This hotel has made it very clear: profit comes before people. If that’s the kind of place you want to support, go ahead. But I certainly won’t be back.

Front desk was rude, and did not compensate for when our flight was late and could not get to Paris on time due to natural disasters. When leaving the morning of flight, the front desk would not assist or let us go when our uber was there even though we made previous arrangements with staff to leave early. Overall not a pleasant experience as 5 young female travelers

Great

My husband and i stayed for 2 nights.
The good: Location was very walkable to all attractions. Reverse cycle worked great. Spacious room. Very large room for price and Paris.
The bad: next to a bar and we were on the ground floor (next to toilets) which meant noisy nights. Shower in our room did not have proper seal on the floor= water leaks with each shower. Not a lot of cupboard space despite large room. Receptionist was not very friendly (but i work in customer service) and not available 24/7.

Definately more a 2 star hotel. Only visit if you want a basic and cheap stay. Note: would never recommend to friends that i like.

Stayed back in 2017 but only now found the place on the map again; rooms were pretty, well maintained, service was good and it was close to central avenues with all the useful amenities it entails.

Can't say anything about it today, but if I were to travel to Paris again, it would be my first choice.

Seems a little more expensive than back then, but nothing too crazy, especially considering the location.

The room is small but clean, and the bed is just the right size for one person.
Breakfast was delicious, with baguettes that made you feel like you were in Paris placed on each table with croissants^^
It took 16 minutes to walk to Montmartre, and it was a good location to walk to major tourist attractions.
It was also nice that I could leave my carrier at the hotel.
When I went to the hotel to pick up my luggage, the staff jokingly asked for a storage fee, which was funny and I think I'll remember it for a long time.
I also gave the staff Korean, Chinese, Thai, and Philippine banknotes as gifts, although they weren't much, to remember them. 😁😁
Also, the taxis called by this hotel are a flat rate and a little cheaper than Uber.
Please keep this in mind when using a taxi.

We have mixture feelings: The location and the rooms are alright. The room has all facilities and comfort, and you might get a room with windows to the street. The main hall and the hotel as a whole are decadent. A noise of flooding water can be heard all the night. The hotel staff are not very efficient. The cleaning staff knocked us al 9:30 and at 10:30 asking if we were leaving (check out is 11:00). In addition, there was no towels in the room.

Great location, close to bus stop and metro station and a 20 minute walk to the Sacre Coeur. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly. Our room was quiet with no outside noise. There were shops and cafes close by, including a Carrefour. I would recommend this hotel and happily stay here again.
