Hôtel Crayon by Elegancia

Really enjoyed staying at this quirky hotel in an excellent location. My room was on the small side but clean and very comfortable. The coffee machine and fruit bowl downstairs were a definite plus. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The decoration was fun although some of the paint work in my room could be refreshed.

Nice small 3star hotel very close to the Louvre museum. As a base you can visit all touristic parts of Paris. The rooms are clean but small and they need some maintenance. The free water and coffee it’s nice in the lobby. The personnel is kind and helpful. Very good balance between price and services.

Exceptional value for the amount I paid, friendly staff, perfect location, safe neighbourhood, literally 5mins walk to the MOST beautiful metro station (Lourve-Rivoli) that I ever been to in my life and an another 2mins to the Lourve museum. Unlimited coffee is provided. The lift is small, so is the room, but enough for us (1 carryon and 1 checked bag). Overall highly recommended, especially for first timers.

We took a room for the weekend, and could not fault it. Wonderful central location with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Metro just a few minutes walk so easy for airport and sites. Cheerful, helpful staff. Lovely room, fab bath! Clean, comfortable and colourful. Eco friendly with no single use plastics. Ready supply of refreshments. Great breakfast. 👍 Perfect.

The single room was very small - which is OK in Paris but the room is not functional for traveling. There needs to be a location for luggage rack and more practical clothing storage solution. The lighting in the room was terrible but the bathroom lighting was better.
The bed and bedding were wonderful and comfortable. Great L'Occitane products. Nice and quiet room in an excellent location. Breakfast was convenient and adequate, although I generally prefer a cafe nearby. Nice coffee machine and filtered water in lobby.
I may try Crayon again in a double room category if there is better functionality for luggage/storage in those rooms.

Great little boutique hotel! So conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and attractions. The breakfast is perfect to start your day as well! The rooms are not 5-start luxury but it is just what you need!

The location was great with lots of restaurants nearby and we loved that complementary hot beverages and fresh fruit were offered in the lobby. We enjoyed sitting on the couches and relaxing after our busy days. We didn't pay for the breakfast with so many choices just around the corner outside but it looked like it had a nice selection. The night manager "BouBou" was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was clean but the shower does need to be regrouted for a cleaner look and there is a dent in the bedroom wall. The room is quite small which is fairly common in Paris so don't be too surprised. If travelers are looking for a pleasant, clean, comfortable (but small and older) room in a convenient location, they will enjoy this hotel.

Splendid small hotel run by artists - very friendly and welcoming place only 600m from the Louvre and 400m from St Eustache and the central train station and shopping center of Les Halles. The street is not attractive but it is a nice quiet neighborhood. Only one staffer is needed at reception - they rotate and they are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Rooms are very small but attractive. All rooms are off-street and very quiet. No restaurant, but a fine breakfast in the common room on the ground floor (not the "basement" as Fodor says). I spent 6 nights here and will be very happy to return.
