Hôtel des Grands Hommes

This was a fantastic stay. I’ve been to Paris many times and usually stay in the same place. This was my first stay here and it won’t be my last. I think I’ve found my new place to stay when visiting Paris. The location is prime. You have the trains and buses close walking distance but it’s also prime location to walking Paris. Margot the manager and Solange were great and very helpful. When you walk out the front of the hotel you are basically on the steps of the Pantheon. Lots of food shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lovely rooms. Very clean. Great working air conditioning.

This is the hotel that you hope to have when you visit Paris. Our stay was so comfortable. We were greeted by Louis who was professional in every way. The vestibule exuded that old fashioned luxury feel, which extended to our room as well. When we opened our window we could see the Pantheon across the street. Accordingly, that was first place that we visited. The hotel is very conveniently located to a large number of attractions in Paris, including Luxembourg Gardens, the Catacombs, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, and many others - and of course the Pantheon. The room was very clean and well maintained, and there is also a lift. We were extremely happy with our stay at Hotel des Grands Hommes and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to all.

I had a great stay here. The staff is truly amazing and attentive! The location is great and within walking distance to so much. Buzzing during the day and quiet at night. Worth the splurge for the pantheon view ! While the beds maybe a slight bit soft, the rooms are comfortable and lovely!

Perfect location and excellent staff make this our go to hotel in Paris. Nostalgic decor is so much more fun than white box rooms. The view of the Pantheon is spectacular. Beds are very comfortable and we slept well!

I stayed here a few days for a work trip and could not have been happier with my choice! It was perfectly situated for exploring when I had downtime, there are some wonderful restaurants and shops all within reasonable walking distance, and the neighborhood was quiet at night but felt very safe as well. Loved my room and having the breakfast option was a helpful start to my day. And - everyone was super friendly! Highly recommend, and would absolutely stay again!

We returned a few nights ago from another amazing stay at HGH - for two weeks.The location of the hotel can't be beat - it sits directly across from le Panthéon and is within a 30 second walk to rue Soufflot, a 4 minute walk to a taxi stand and blvd. St. Michel, and a 5 minute walk to le Jardin du Luxembourg.Perfect! The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and nicely appointed. We had the Deluxe room with a balcony (there are other rooms with balconies, too) and loved our stay in it. The breakfast area has several tables from which to choose. It's a self-serve buffet style with many delicious foods - baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals, cheeses, ham, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, juices, fruit cups, and coffee/tea. If you need anything, either Salim or Bamini will be there to help! Although the hotel is wonderful, it's the staff that brings it to the next level! Every staff member with whom we interacted (Alexandra - front desk manager, Guilherme, Solange, Sofiane, Jeanne, Valérie - overseer of the cleaning and kitchen staff, Elaysha, and Margot - the energetic, professional, and positive manager of the entire staff) helped us as much as possible. We have been to Paris many times and we'll return next year with another stay a HGH! A real gem.

This hotel offers a lovely backdrop to your trip to Paris. Being close to a monument makes getting back easy regardless of where you travel. Breakfast is available. There's staff act as bartenders in the common area for drinks and hot chocolate. The desk is manned 24 hrs a day with lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel with an incredible atmosphere!

The hotel charms you from the moment you step in with its elegant and classic style. The building itself is a true architectural gem that transports you back in time. The rooms are clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated. You can feel the attention to detail – from the exquisite furniture to the soft beds that offer great rest after a busy day in Paris.

The rooms are equipped with excellent air conditioning, which was a real lifesaver during warmer days. And if you close the windows, the soundproofing is fantastic – absolute silence, letting you completely relax. 🌙

The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions. 🛎️ They are always smiling and do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for the warm welcome! 💫

And of course, the location of the hotel is a huge plus. It’s situated right next to the Pantheon, and just 100 steps from the hotel, you can already see the Eiffel Tower. 🗼🏛️ The convenient location allows you to explore Paris easily on foot.

The breakfast was quite modest, but the fresh croissants and coffee were perfectly fine. 🥐☕️

If you're looking for the perfect combination of comfort, coziness, and a true French atmosphere, this is definitely the hotel I can highly recommend. I will be back here again at the first opportunity!

My friend and I stayed at Hotel des Grands Hommes in December 2023. We had a lovely stay. Our room was cozy and the bathroom felt luxurious. The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel is within walking distance to public transport and a number of tourist sites, including the Pantheon which was directly outside the hotel. Would stay here again!
