Great for business travel

Decent lobby. No parking. Rooms themselves seem on first impression to be sort of dingy and tired, but in the end they were alright and we slept great. Breakfast in morning was simple (juices, coffee, water, mini croissants, cereal, etc), but appreciated. I would recommend to stay if you can be flexible, and I would likely be ok to stay there again for the competitive price point. The neighborhood seems completely safe, with a Parisian working class feel (and that is said as a positive). It is about a 30 minute walk due South to the Notre Dame.

Surprisingly really, really friendly staff The location may seem a bit shady and hidden, but for the price it is a great hotel to stay at for a few nights especially if you are looking to shop a looot. Despite the critical reviews, so far no problems with it. People expect too much for the price.

In all honesty, this is the worst hotell i have ever stayed in.
To be fair: i can only speak of room 501 as this was our room.
Ok, here we go:
Hard to indentify the entrance due to it being overgrown by plants, no sign or anything that guides you, basically just a hole in the wall.
The elevator felt very shady, made noises and the buttons for the floors barely worked.
Our tiny and expensive room smelled of mold and a hint of sewege.
The faucet in the bathroom was loose, the showerhead was broken, entire bathroom was the smallest i have ever seen.
Beds were unclean, human hair on the sheets and the ac unit had not been cleaned in years (we did not dare to turn it on, but we looked)
No ventilation at all, basically a tiny window in the bathroom that you could not close, severe noise from surrounding fans etc made it very hard to sleep.
A balcony door that hardly closed, warm.
The moldy smell lingered on our clothes for days.
We were thankfully able to find another hotel which saved our Paris trip.
Mindboggeling how this hotel can have 3 stars.
Avoid at all costs!

Booked quadruple room for family. According to description in Booking.com some of the biggest quadruple rooms in Paris! However, on arrival we ended up with a double and a twin room. Reception confused about quadruple room request. Do these rooms exist? I'll never know. This would be a problem for a younger family, or any family staying longer than 1 night! Group arriving at the same time as us had similar issue. Also, our double room smelled strongly of cigarettes.

Very friendly staff who are kind and helpful. Stayed here twice now in different rooms. Both were cosy and modern. Good location about 10 min walk from Gare du Nord and 2 mins walk to nearby metro stations

Clean rooms, polite staff, nice breakfast and the location has everything you need nearby. From bars, breakfast, coffee or deaner. The best value for money 3star hotel.
