Reviews
I have stayed in a hotel in the 17th arrondissement in the past, but compared to that, the security was much better, and there were no strange people walking around early in the morning or at night, and it was not scary or noisy outside.
They change the towels every day, and the hotel was cleaned well, even from a Japanese perspective of hygiene. The shower has hot water quickly and the water pressure is sufficient. There is a proper hand shower.
However, the shower room is quite small, and my husband, who has poor eyesight, had some difficulty using it, so that may be the only drawback.
The room is just big enough to spread out one suitcase for airplane check-in, and the bed is packed, so it may not be suitable for people with too much luggage.
There is a large rack to hang clothes, so in our case, we hung two people's clothes (shirts, pants, light down) on it.
If it's your first time in Paris and you want to enjoy a Parisian view from your room, I don't recommend this hotel, but such hotels are quite expensive, and if you're going to be sightseeing all day and not in your room, I think it's better to stay at a convenient and inexpensive hotel like this one and go to the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower to see the view.
The staff were all friendly and wonderful. This hotel is safe for Japanese people.
By the way, the elevator is old-fashioned, so it was confusing at first, but now I think it was an interesting experience. It's not uncommon in Europe to have no elevators, so I'm grateful that there is an elevator.
Attached are photos of the main street just outside the hotel, inside Galeries Lafayette, and a nearby cafe where locals can have breakfast. If you stay at this hotel, you can quickly access these wonderful views of Paris.
It was a good experience. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The rooms were spotless, and it was clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene. Speaking of the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, adding a warm and welcoming touch to the overall experience.
One thing to note, however, is that the hotel does not have air conditioning. This might be an issue if you're visiting during the hotter months, as we did in August. While we managed to stay relatively comfortable with the fan provided in the room, the lack of A/C is something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to heat.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, well-located place to stay in Paris with friendly service. Just be prepared for the summer warmth if you visit during the hotter months!
It's compact, ok for short stay. Comfortable bed, small but good new shower. I have stayed a few time. The price this time was terriblely expensive, anout 100 euros more than last time. Absolutely over charged.
Breakfast was €15 per person. It is a buffet, but you don't have great choise, so the €15 is very high for what you get as breakfast.
Normally I should stay for 4 nights, but I left earlier a day earlier due the heat in the room.
In colder days it could be good.
