Were there about 4 years ago. Well, it is permanently closed. It's not even a star.

Free Parking?
We(My mother on behalf of a family of us 6) booked for a stay in this hotel around summer 2018(to put the time into prospective for any football fans out there, this was about 6 weeks after France won the last FIFA World Cup), specifically because they mentioned online that they had "Free Parking" as part of a Best Western branch; they didn't.
All this shock after driving there all the way from the Netherlands, from morning to night, and rather than apologising/compensating for the misleading info, the attendant moaned about how he was "fed up with this", like he was the person that paid for the reservation.
And on top of this, when my dad left to buy somethings for us nearby to manage our stay, he was advised by the shop keeper about how the surrounding area was dangerous and how we shouldn't be hanging around there, which wasn't surprising given the sketchy looks he was getting around that night and how the environment just seemed too rundown. Consequently we had gone from considering to manage a stay for 2 nights, to firmly deciding to leave for the next morning after my dad found a Novotel that turned out to be better for the next night.
This experience changed our perception about Best Western, with my dad swearing never to book a Best Western reservation again. It also exposed me to the ugly sides of Paris that's not advertised on the media.
Now you can come at me and respond about how this might not be the case anymore(I can't tell since I haven't even been to Paris since around that time), but one thing is certain; till this day Best Western never held themselves accountable for this fiasco. Meaning they likely don't care enough to change it.
And seeing this "Free Parking" offer still mentioned about the hotel 2 years from that experience triggered me to expose how misleading it can be.

The hotel is reasonably priced especially if you are two people. However, the bathroom is TINY and if you are slightly on the larger size, it's almost impossible to have a shower. The neighborhood isn't the best, and I would not recommend a late night stroll.

Lovely hotel, clean tidy small rooms (by Parisian tradition). Service was great, breakfast could be more diverse - same thing was served every morning, but it was ok. The area is alright as long as you head south, where you'll find many cafes and restaurants, and there's a nice bar 50 meters away. Small groceries store next to the hotel. Good WiFi and espresso coffee available 24/7. Thank you for the service

Lovely hotel. Nice breakfast, loved the nutella, croissants and coffee. Staff were friendly. Small room but spotless, happy to have a fridge and nice toiletries. Random but liked the carpet.

Hotel is clean but tiny and the staff are very friendly and informative however the area is a bit dodgy but no more so than the rest of Paris to be honest because of the lads hassling you to buy stuff from all of the entrances and exits of the main tourist attractions, they truly spoilt my honeymoon. Very disrespectful towards me and my wife during our visit. But this is not a reflection on the hotel itself more so the people around the area. *Tips* it's located on the metro line port de clignancourt it's only €1.80 PP.
