New Hotel Saint Lazare

I dunno what the fuss people are complaining about. It is one of the most reasonably priced hotel in Paris. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. The location is 2min walk from Metro line 13 but there is no escalator or lift..be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs.
The staff are polite and helpful.
I would have preferred they give me a room with a lift but it is a small issue having to climb up a short flight of stairs after clocking 20k steps touring. Other than this...the location is perfect with a express supermarket and a few restaurants nearby.
We love it and will recommend it to the non fussy.

It is a hotel just to sleep in, the rooms are small, the bathroom is small and everything is worn. But you get what you pay for. Walking distance to most major tourist spots. I was satisfied.

I had a pleasant stay here. I booked a solo room with a private bathroom and I surprisingly got a spacious room with a double bed. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean, and they cleaned it regularly. My room also had a desk, a chair, and a stool.

There was no AC but then again, my booking didn't indicate that the room has AC so no complaints there. Plus air conditioning isn't common in Paris.

My booking included daily breakfast and I also thought it was good. There was a good assortment of bread, meat, cheeses, jam, Nutella, yogurt, and cereal, plus coffee and fruit juices.

Hotels in Paris are generally expensive and for everything I got here, the price I paid for was well-justified.

The room was pretty small, but it had what we needed. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great - the metro, cafes, etc very close. Will stay there again!

We always book places and base them off our own experiences, we never judge by reviews; luckily we didn’t for this one… this was an awesome hotel, and we had no issues at all :)

It’s definitely recommended for Solo / Couples, I wouldn’t say families as the rooms are small but when I say small, they are just really cosy. They are tidy, and cleaned everyday. The bathroom just about fits 2 people, but they have showers/ bathtubs and all the space you need to get ready with a mirror etc. Towels are always changed and stocked; the bedding is clean and padded so it’s super comfy!

As for clothes space, there is a few rails and hangers, not too many but mainly for coats and blazers etc, then they have shelves for folded items so fairly enough space for 2 people clothes!

We had AC machines, that are plug in so it’s only if you want it which is handy! There is night lamps, and also wide open windows if you wanted to open them… I found this place really cool for location as you have Bubble Tea 2 minutes away, lots of E-Bike destinations, Uber finds it easy to find. It’s on a high street with cafes, bars and more, and only a 10 minute walk to Moulin Rogue etc.

It’s much better in person, and even the breakfast is great.

For the money for 4 nights, this was well justified and the staff we helpful and lovely too. Always assertive and friendly, we had no issues and we’d definitely stay again :)

Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Perfect spot in at a good location to explore Paris. Rooms are fairly small but what was expected from the price paid.
