Bon emplacement mais nécessite quelques rénovations ! Obligé de dormir avec des boules quies car la climatisation émet des bruits importants plusieurs fois par minute (à noter qu'on ne peut régler la clim : il faut appeler la réception qui peut fixer la température). Avec un masque car rideaux non ocultants. On m'a donné la clé car le système de carte ne fonctionnait pas. Premier jour, ménage partiellement fait. Second jour, je pars plusieurs heures en demandant que le ménage soit fait : je reviens, il ne l'était pas. Ménage plus poussé souhaitable, déboucher les canalisations (douche et lavabo ne s'évacuent pas), changer la brossette de WC qui est TRES sale et totalement rouillée... Le personnel est très aimable mais l'hôtel a vraiment besoin d'un rafraîchissement pour conserver 3* ... Le niveau est inférieur à Ibis qui n'en a que deux. Le prix est celui de 3*. Je n'ai pas pris le petit déjeuner qui est un peu onéreux dans la salle du RDC sans clim, j'ai préféré les prendre en ville. Donc avis mitigé sur cet hôtel...

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, 5-7 min walking. One can reach the "old town" by takin the metro in the main station, it's a 10 min ride (approx 2€). There is a shopping mall in front of the train station and caffeterias in the station, that are good to get supplies. It's good option if you don't mind a quick train ride after finishing the touristic walking

The room was comfortable but you have to ring the reception to turn on your AC which is fine since they’re very responsive and available 24/7.

The room was comfortable, with good lighting, a nice bed and a great shower. Whilst very hot initially, the aircon was enabled for me rapidly. When I had a problem, the friendly staff fixed it. There is some noise that will come from adjoining rooms but I had no noise from outside unless the window was open. I would be very happy to stay again - great location being so close to thr station, métro and trams.

I will give 2 stars to give the benefit of the doubt to the hotel, since I paid 85€ to get there from the airport (and not 50€ as was indicated on google, perhaps because it was late? Anyways do yourself a favor and catch the train) and I had to wake up super early to catch a train so I was not well predisposed to be positive. We were only passing through Lyons and had an early train in the morning, this lodging was chosen due to its location and good price mainly (60€). Anyways, I agree with many of the reviews here, the rooms are extremely tiny, the bed is comfortable but too small for 2 people and the pillows are too big for the size of the bed. And when you find ear plugs next to your bed it is an indicator of what is to come - a sleepless night because the air-conditioner (or whatever) is noisy. Additionally you cannot regulate the temperature from your room. - you have to tell reception (we were told at arrival). The cherry on the cake was that there wasn’t enough liquid soap to wash in the shower. Personnel was courteous. I would suggest to lodge here if you must, if you are just passing through and if you find a good deal. Would definitely not recommend for a long stay. We took the no breakfast option so can’t comment on that.

Small rooms.
Convenient to the railroad station but not much of a neighborhood.
Passing trains were not an issue in my room but others in my group said they were awoken by them.

I do not understand the negative reviews of this place. This is a three star hotel, don't expect it to be the Ritz in London??
The woman on reception was very welcoming and helpful. She took my bags before check-in. Breakfast was really good, nice selection of juices, cheeses, coffees and bread.
Room was comfortable and decent size, shower was really practical and warm. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Lyon.
PS the person who said this hotel is a 20 mins walk from the train station must have been lost, it takes 5 mins
