Great location as usual. Is just 10 min walk from the new Elizabeth line which go directly to Heathrow Airport. Reception is great. Just that there is a small steps from main entrance to the reception where you need to pick up your own luggage. Other than that, there is lift access to your own floor. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit small, but functional. Housekeeping was consistent—beds were made, and supplies restocked whenever we used the "Please Clean The Room" sign. Breakfast costs £15 per person, with a standard selection served early (from 6:30 am), convenient if you're in a rush. Noise insulation could be better; sirens from the main street were noticeable at night

Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was compact but perfect for my stay. 100% would book again and recommend for anyone wanting to be walking distance to anywhere in Central London.

I have stayed here a dozen times for work and when I can always try to book. Great rooms, swimming pool, great restaurant and well stocked bar. Staff always go the extra mile and always friendly. The price is well worth it, good value for the price, I would highly recommend.

This is a cosy city hotel which does what it says on the tin at the price point. Check-in was seamless and speedy. Staff are helpful and present. The room was comfortable and well-lit. More generally, the hotel is walking distance to Old Street, Shoreditch and the City.

Spent two nights at the hotel. Had problems with our water. They change our rooms, upgraded us, and gave us free breakfast for two mornings. Nothing too much trouble. Friendly staff. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Only ten minute walk to old Street tube. Would recommend, and competitive price. Best to be in the main hotel check when booking.

Room OK for London. Dirty carpet but otherwise fairly clean. Incredibly hot throughout with no air con and windows screwed shut. Prepare to bake if temperature is over 10 degrees. Good breakfast- a buffet style where the food is actually hot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room was dated but clean and a good size. Bathroom was good with a bath / shower and plenty of toiletries provided. Staff at reception were very helpful and courteous and there is plenty of choice to eat and drink on site or nearby.

Location is good, which is near to the City centre. Hence the transportation is convenient. However, there is smell which is not pleasant, sound like someone staying previously has smoked. the service of storing luggage in the hotel after check out was not satisfactory - the staff asked us to put the identifying labels to the luggage by ourselves and he, just sat there and focused on the mobile

Water is easily seeping out from the glass edges of the bathtub, and the floor of the washroom becomes wet and slippery.

Quite convenience location, recommend booking the newly refurbished room, it's under construction though, so some rooms might be noisy

The rooms are tiny it gets super hot and humid in the room they dont have ac bring your own fan over all it was a horrible experience

What a spectacular location. The owners have started a Reno and we stayed in one of the newly refreshed rooms. Was great. Everything we needed in the room. It is a real shame the people working there let the place down. From the passive aggressive guy behind the desk to the barman who fell asleep on the couches watching the tv. Room cleaning makes the bed that’s it, doesn’t empty bins replenish toilet...

All as expected and convenient for our purposes. Ideal to get to station and to theatre just across the bridge.

There are about 16 rooms in each floor which are having no view at all. I was assigned to a room of which the window is facing to a solid wall of less than one feet. The room was the worst I ever seen. I was completely unsatisfied and later got a change of room.

Don’t expect too much for this hotel. Over priced. Need to upgrade the room quality and facilities. Conveniently located with a 5-minute walk to Waterloo Station.

Great location to stay in. Nice quiet room. Stayed in 221 and the shower leaked and the flush on the toilet was continuous. Have to press it twice to turn it off. Other than that great stay. Will stay again.

Great hotel in a brilliant location, close to the river and great tube /DLR access. Rooms are simple but everything you might need, staff are helpful and friendly and the bar is very comfortable too

Stayed in a few Motel Ones now. I think they are great. My gripe with all of them is the lack of storage in the bedrooms along with them not being very well laid out for women doing their hair - never a dressing table with mirror above.

Great location with easy access to public transport. Excellent breakfast. Luggage storage available with reasonable price. However, TV in room had no signal.

Cheap and cheerful wouldn't really do this place justice. It's clean, bright and modern, a bit cheesy decor wise but at least they're consistent with the theme. The food in the restaurant was beyond expectations and really good value as well. If you're staying in the area I'd highly recommend this place.

Exceptional location. I felt very safe and at home at all times. Good staff and I have to say the Lao at ion is perfect. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend it for families.

Service was amazing, food was amazing, location was perfect, my only issue was the window would forcefully shut itself unless wedged open with something and there was nowhere to refrigerate drinks despite the insanely hot weather at the time of my stay, however my trip was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Friendly and efficient service. Rooms are not huge but plenty of space and clean and comfortable; bathroom was very clean (recently renovated?). The rooms facing over the commons get a little bit of noise from the road, but also have a great view of the sunset.

I had a single room and when I entered the room it smelled of a hint of sewers. Can’t say this is for all rooms as I haven’t been in them of course but that was my experience. The room was clean just had a bad smell. Had breakfast included and the staff were lovely. It’s an old style hotel with a tiny tv right in the upper corner of the room which you probably can’t see from your bed.

Breakfast selection was good with decent choice of both hot and cold foods to pick from. Helpful and friendly room staff who looked after our rooms. Near Faringdon underground by walk or on public bus just outside the door.

Rooms are great, with plenty of space and are modern in look. Facilities are basic though. It's an express hotel so it's understandable. There is an eating area where they serve a basic menu and breakfast in the morning which is included for everyone. Make sure to join the membership programme even if you don't plan to use them regularly. You'll get a free drink or points.

No vanity kit or bottled water provided. Staff appeared very busy, not particularly friendly. Quite unwelcoming towards children. Did not treat my son politely...! Staff seemed uncomfortable around older children...

Both Counter and Room Service staff are helpful. Given Room 304 which is on 3rd level isolated near the staircase. Construction works which were posted by others are completed, so pretty quite. Room is small and dated, but is clean and sufficient for a short stay. Can't beat the location, within walking distance ~18 minutes to Paddington, Bayswater and Queensway Tube Stations which allow you to travel...

Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. They provided us with a place to rest during our trip. Their service attitude was very good and they patiently answered our questions.
