Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & SPA
London, 354 Queenstown Road 🧭 Map
I visited the Pestana on the 11th June. The staff were really nice, the breakfast was tasty too, I'd go again just for the pancakes. However the hotel wasn't as nice as I had thought it would be especially for a 4 star hotel, it wasn't as luxurious as described. It seems as though the room I stayed in may had been cleaned and sealed a while ago, but had not been cleaned before my arrival so it was...
It was good though the TV was not working. However we were offered complimentary drink vouchers which we couldn't use as you can only use them at specified times
We were here a few years ago. We really liked the hotel. We have nothing to complain about here, although you are already in the higher price range.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our wedding night. They didn't go out of their way to make the evening more memorable. Also breakfast the next morning was very slow, I was eating my food whilst my husband was waiting for his breakfast.
Good 4star hotel. We had a family room. Plenty of space here. Decent WiFi and desk space meant doing some work in the room was fine too. Friendly staff. Feels COVID safe. I liked the room being sealed after cleaning. The soundproofing could be better. The front door, being near a lift, meant you could hear conversations outside quite easily. The queen size bed was good, too soft for my personal...

The SPA area is quite nice, well equipped gym and quirky style for communal areas. Staff is professional and welcoming. There is a beautiful library space, ideal for people who have paper work to do or simply like to read. The restaurant serves tasty food as well.
Chose This hotel specifically because of its location and the spa, since we had stayed there in the past and enjoyed it. Much to our dismay the spa was very dysfunctional - two out of four facilities we’re not working, the pool and the steam room. Nobody informed us about this when we specifically inquired about the spa... and there was no notification about spa closure on the site. Our room did not...
This is a beautifully located hotel, just on the river Thames. I booked a river facing room and they put an effort into preparing the room with a few nice touches here and there. The heating didn't work and they tried to fix it but eventually upgraded me to their best room, the Emperor Suite! This was really kind of them and yes the Emperor room is beautiful with an amazing jacuzzi yet I felt something...
Rooms clean although some fixtures seemed a little tired. Shower excellent with body sprays and nice toiletries. Breakfast standard buffet spread. Restaurant overlooks the Thames. It is located a little out of the way but has excellent parking (£15) so suited me as I had use of a car. Possibly stay again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Had gluten free options to help me out as I'm allergic! Room was lovely, food was lovely, shower was lovely! Had a great stay :)

Overall a lovely stay. We were given a complimentary upgrade which was nice. The room was spacious and comfortable but a little tired with the bathroom taps and shower screen needing a little attention. Room service was great and the Spa was a nice place to spend a couple of hours, would recommend the evening rate from 8-10pm for £10. Location is really good for the tube and Westfield shopping centry...
Great food, both breakfast and dinner. Reception were very easy going with our requests and were quite flexible. Only request would be that we wouldnt have to pay additional the amenities such as accessing the spa.
A nice hotel overall but the location was not ideal for me. It was a little bit too far away from the parts of London we wanted to visit and in a fairly residential area (a very pretty neighborhood though). We had trouble finding a restaurant near by that was open late on a Friday. However, it is close to a metro stop and the Westfield mall. (There turned out to be lots of restaurants right next to...
The room in the hotel was wonderful. It was clean and spacious. There was also a smartphone that you could take with you, which was a lifesaver when I went sightseeing. It was centrally located, with the train from the airport just down the road. It also had a huge shopping mall with restaurants, fast food, shops, and much more just up the road. The tube station was also here which allowed me to travel...

Good hotel. Room was very small but sufficient for a single traveler. Good service and convenient location near tube for circle and district lines. Concierge service was great and even lent me an umbrella for free. I would definitely go back.
The staff is wonderful! From the doorman to the front desk, everyone was very kind and helpful! Check in was easy and we were so thankful to leave our bags at the hotel before our room was ready. The room was very clean and the location was amazing! Beautiful 5 minute walk every morning to the tube. Would definitely stay again.
Conveniently sited and well appointed. The hotel entrance gives a sense of size and space which is both relaxing and also in contrast with its small and compact guest rooms. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Not overly expensive. Great for the weekend trip. Less so for the long stay guest
Rooms are quite small, but clean and comfortable. The shower hose had a slight hole in it but it was still usable. There was a huge choice at breakfast to set you up for the day. Didn't really make use of the pool or the spa, it would have been nice if this was included in the price. All in all, a lovely staff. The door men were very helpful offering to help us with our bags etc.

A wonderful place, suitable for the price, with views of both the wheel and Big Ben. I took a room with a view of Big Ben, but did not take into account that it is under restoration. Well it's not their fault. The hotel is truly divine. It’s a pity that smoking is not allowed, they smoke on the street, but I understand that this is the case all over London.
The hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and the spa and pool are free. The only reason I'm giving 4 star review was because a fire alarm went off around 3am at night which meant all of us spent an hour trying to get out of the hotel only to be told to go back to our rooms because everything was fine. This was very difficult with all the people around. I didn't sleep well that night. It didn't...
Beautiful lovely hotel had fantastic views x staff were out of this world couldn't do enough for you. Cocktails were a little bit pricey but didn't stop us. Staff speak all languages so good for all visitors from anywhere in the world. Central location so can get anywhere in london easily. Rooms were amazing. Can't wait to return.
Great location if visiting London. Easy access to 2 tube stations, and many attractions near by. Staff were great and rooms were clean and quiet. Great feature in the room was a side by side mini fridge. One side stocked with items for purchase the other empty allowing u to store essentials like beer.

Love this hotel normally. Spent several nights there recently in a room without air conditioning during a "heat wave". AC was out in most of the hotel the whole week. A hotel with this much traffic needs to make comfort priority one. That said, I will stay there in the future. It is convenient if you need to move about the city or the country. I'll just make sure I ask about the AC before booking.
Great experience I have to say. From the moment we entered untill we have to leave now. All staff more than courteous and went the extra mile to answer any questions. Breakfast was a highlight and rooms were amazing and spacious and silent at night. Restaurant is expensive but food is excellent quality. Hope to come back again soon !!!
I was surprised how welcoming this place was, with a grand entrance and so close to Paddington the service was hard to beat. Quiet, and relatively spacious rooms. So easy to get to the platforms and the executive lounge was well stocked and has great food options.
A just average experience at a high priced Hilton. Desk staff not very responsive. Housekeeping manager very nice and helpful. They didn't fulfill my special orders until I complained. They can do better. I'm a diamond member. Diamond lounge is good, but food offered us pretty bad. Drink selections limited, but name brands.

We went to the Copthorne Tara Hotel for afternoon tea, we had a voucher and though it was excellent value. You got unlimited tea which was a bonus and a great selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. The bread could have been been fresher and they needed more selection for the vegetarian. The staff were attentive and made sure we were happy. It is also a hotel with a chiense restaurant and a bar...
Very nice hotel and good location, close to the bus and metro station. Many restaurants around and also many shops. The staff was particularly nice, we could even make our check-in before 12. Wildly overpriced. Walls are thin as paper so if you want a good night sleep, bring earplugs. Many of the rooms are a long walk from the lifts. If you are disabled, make sure to request a room closer to the lifts. Overall the service was pleasant and rooms clean. The best feature was probably the bed - surprisingly comfortable for a hotel bed. Worst part: cleaners walking in on my morning shower. Latch...
One night stay in London and the Novotel was grand. We had a family room which had more than sufficient space for us. Although we didn't use all the facilities those that we did were excellent. Me and my fiancee stayed at Novotel West London for 2nights. The staff were fantastic. Marjorie who works at the hotel arrange to make our stay extra special by decorating our room in a 'Harry Potter' theme as we got engaged that week and were in London to see the Stage show (HP and the Cursed Child). The beds are comfy, the rooms are a good size, and the en suite was modern. Also the breakfast...
Not the best Novotel, you're better off either saving money and staying at an Ibis or looking for better hotels in the price range. Very basic room, although the location is very good for London Olympia and the close the underground station. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Wish rooms would improve.

I use this hotel as a meeting venue. It's convenient in London just next door to the Gloucester Road tube. The hotel itself is excellent value for money considering it's location. The meeting rooms I have used are perfectly fine for an internal meeting, they are abit tired As are the bedrooms but perfectly adequate. The staff are helpful but trying to find one sometimes can be a little tricky!
For a large hotel with a diversity of customers, the Millennium Gloucester delivered a consistency with staff friendliness and helpfulness including the restaurant hostess and wait personnel, reception, concierge and maintenance staff. We stayed for a week, and our room was exceptionally quiet and functional. The housekeeping supervisor came to our room to inquire about our satisfaction. The features...
These guys are the best. Yes the Hotel is elegant and is perfectly positioned in Kensington but what sets them apart is after arriving at 640AM a wretched night in a sleeper car from Edinburgh where the mattress was shedding fiberglass so that every inch of me itched and my AirBNB did not open until 3pm, these folks answered the phone at 5 AM while inbound on the train, confirmed a room would be available...
This hotel is amazing. Rom the room to the location. It's right next to Gloucester Road station and there are so many restaurants and and supermarkets around which makes it so easy to find whatever you need at whatever time. Staff are amazingly friendly and so helpful. The gym is big and so are the rooms. My stay here is always so wonderful.

Friendly staff; excellent location; value for money; never seen a breakfast offer as good and I’ve travelled a lot; level club well run too and a brilliant idea
Fantastic location, but not many restaurants nearby. All of the staff were from Spain, so as a native English speaker heading to England I had hoped not to have a language barrier. They were all very polite, friendly, and helpful but it would have been nice to have a native speaker on staff. The rooms are small, presumably due to the age of the hotel. The rooms appeared well kept but a few minor issues...
Hmm... Yes, I would go to this hotel again. Though and would put three stars in the review - just because cards were demagnetized, judging by earlier reviews, so they are demagnetized. I came here for a business conference. It was an excellent venue for the conference. The rooms were very nice but small (typical for Europe though). The onsite restaurant served great food with a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was beautiful throughout and the conference areas as well. Bonus points for having a rowing machine in the fitness center!
The rooms were big and comfortable, and the hotel is located in a walkable distance from a tube station. The bathrooms were spacious and clean and you'd do well to find a hotel of a better quality for the same price. The only small shortcoming of the place (it isn't even their fault) is that there aren't a lot of good food options located in its vicinity.
If you get room 1260 you'll be woken up in the night by the ice machine that's right outside. It's trying to be uber trendy with wall to wall LED lights as if you're looking in the night sky in the main foyer above the escalators to the restaurant. Almost reminded me of the entrance to a fashionable clothes store. Bed was a bit hard and four small pillows, but I think that's the minimalist style they...
We stayed here for our anniversary celebration. The river side view was great. We had a double room but the bed was bigger than king size and was very comfy. The room has a large bathroom with a huge wall on shower as well as a bath. I especially liked the fluffy towelling slippers provided. The staff were efficient and friendly. We stopped on the bar for a drink while live jazz was playing. Great...
Great service. Good location you can reach important things by foot. Good view if you have got a room on the river side. Only negative is that your car is parked sometimes far off the hotel. But except this its a good choice. It's focused on business guests but the personal is family friendly, too.
Great hotel with lovely, professional staff. They gave me a free upgrade. Rooms are not sound proof and the hotel is near the road so expect considerable noise. Though I requested a quiet room it was not considered and I ended up in a noisy room. Roomservice is extra ordinary and they have nice discounts on the meals. Location is pretty good, very close to Buckingham palace. The rooms are what you would expect in a European hotel. I do think they are nicer than most I've stayed in. Our room was small but that's expected. Our AC worked great and the breakfast was probably the best I'd ever had in a European hotel.
This hotel is beautifully elegant. I was upgraded to a lovely suite. Furnishings are stunning, bathroom and amenities superb, in room amazing coffee and tea selection, gorgeous lobby, great restaurants and bar. Beautiful hotel with impeccable and speedy service at all hours. It is an elegant jewel in the Marriott hotels stable of upmarket hotels.
Lovely hotel, conveniently located next to Victoria Station. We had a suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was attentive and gracious. Generous complimentary breakfasts and happy hours. No real complaints. I would definitely stay there again.
I stayed here on two separate trips for roughly 1 week a piece. The hotel is extremely charming to a London first-timer, and is located at the all too convenient Victoria Underground station(it's literally built into the hotel). The restaurants, gym and rooms were all wonderful. I did have an issue with my room being too noisy (the bed was next to the door), and Ashu, a concierge member worked diligently...

Lovely hotel, stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. The beds are comfy and the bathroom has always been clean. The buffet breakfast is great and has a wide selection, it’s definitely worth adding it on to your booking before you get there, the price is much higher if you decide on the day.

This is clearly one of the premium locations for Hilton in London and that showed throughout the whole visit. Top notch location, service and amenities. We spent a week in London and this was the perfect place to use as a base for our adventures. I generally like the hotel. We/I have stayed there over the years. Handy walking for Central London. We enjoy the Island Restaurant. The lounge bar currently under refurbishment. I fell in love with London and I think the May Fair might have helped. So happy I chose such a trendy hotel with yet a old world charm. Perfect location and charming setting. The next time I go to London I'll be staying at the May Fair as corny as that sounds.
Attended a company meetings there. Main room was well laid out but a little warm for me. Plenty of water available. Food and drinks were served after the meeting with drinks readily available and food delivered quickly and in good quantity. The atrium was a little small and echoed a lot but that may have been a mistake on our part based on numbers.

Dashing and totally at the top of the list for hotel accommodation in London. l stayed here for a few days. Upon entry you are met with lovely, friendly (not too nosey) staff. Loved our stay at the Royal garden. The staff really made it feel special. The location is great and restaurant views over the park. Hoping to return for another visit soon
Worked at the RGH on a conference. Staff on site & catering were outstanding. Facilities clean and welcoming. However the rooms were ice cold. Plus I would have likes to have seen greener products and more evidence of Eco business.
Located right next to Kensington Palace and on Kensington high Street gives the hotel an impressive location both in terms of the beauty around and in terms of access / practicality. Oxford Street is a short bus trip away, Harrods is close (if that's your thing ), all of Kensington high Street (nothing spectacular but nice to look around). What a beautiful time I had with my love ❤ staying here a few weeks ago. We had a gorgeous room with an amazing view of the park. The high tea with great friends was a special moment. I got to play the piano. Thank you for that! The food was so fresh and the tea was magnificent. The breakfast the next morning was superb. The staff was super friendly. Our room was so cozy and spotless. Cannot wait to...
Wow. The location is incredible. Being right next to the parks and gardens I really enjoyed running in the morning and then having breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic! Definitely the best continental I have ever had.
Wonderful hotel. Staff are very attentive and nothing seems to be too much hassle. Food is very good in the restaurant, with desert looking like a work of art. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, with feather pillows. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.
