Holiday Inn London Kensington High St., an IHG Hotel
London, Wrights Lane 🧭 Map
Good hotel. Room was very small but sufficient for a single traveler. Good service and convenient location near tube for circle and district lines. Concierge service was great and even lent me an umbrella for free. I would definitely go back.
The staff is wonderful! From the doorman to the front desk, everyone was very kind and helpful! Check in was easy and we were so thankful to leave our bags at the hotel before our room was ready. The room was very clean and the location was amazing! Beautiful 5 minute walk every morning to the tube. Would definitely stay again.
Conveniently sited and well appointed. The hotel entrance gives a sense of size and space which is both relaxing and also in contrast with its small and compact guest rooms. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Not overly expensive. Great for the weekend trip. Less so for the long stay guest
Rooms are quite small, but clean and comfortable. The shower hose had a slight hole in it but it was still usable. There was a huge choice at breakfast to set you up for the day. Didn't really make use of the pool or the spa, it would have been nice if this was included in the price. All in all, a lovely staff. The door men were very helpful offering to help us with our bags etc.

A wonderful place, suitable for the price, with views of both the wheel and Big Ben. I took a room with a view of Big Ben, but did not take into account that it is under restoration. Well it's not their fault. The hotel is truly divine. It’s a pity that smoking is not allowed, they smoke on the street, but I understand that this is the case all over London.
The hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and the spa and pool are free. The only reason I'm giving 4 star review was because a fire alarm went off around 3am at night which meant all of us spent an hour trying to get out of the hotel only to be told to go back to our rooms because everything was fine. This was very difficult with all the people around. I didn't sleep well that night. It didn't...
Beautiful lovely hotel had fantastic views x staff were out of this world couldn't do enough for you. Cocktails were a little bit pricey but didn't stop us. Staff speak all languages so good for all visitors from anywhere in the world. Central location so can get anywhere in london easily. Rooms were amazing. Can't wait to return.
Great location if visiting London. Easy access to 2 tube stations, and many attractions near by. Staff were great and rooms were clean and quiet. Great feature in the room was a side by side mini fridge. One side stocked with items for purchase the other empty allowing u to store essentials like beer.

Love this hotel normally. Spent several nights there recently in a room without air conditioning during a "heat wave". AC was out in most of the hotel the whole week. A hotel with this much traffic needs to make comfort priority one. That said, I will stay there in the future. It is convenient if you need to move about the city or the country. I'll just make sure I ask about the AC before booking.
Great experience I have to say. From the moment we entered untill we have to leave now. All staff more than courteous and went the extra mile to answer any questions. Breakfast was a highlight and rooms were amazing and spacious and silent at night. Restaurant is expensive but food is excellent quality. Hope to come back again soon !!!
I was surprised how welcoming this place was, with a grand entrance and so close to Paddington the service was hard to beat. Quiet, and relatively spacious rooms. So easy to get to the platforms and the executive lounge was well stocked and has great food options.
A just average experience at a high priced Hilton. Desk staff not very responsive. Housekeeping manager very nice and helpful. They didn't fulfill my special orders until I complained. They can do better. I'm a diamond member. Diamond lounge is good, but food offered us pretty bad. Drink selections limited, but name brands.

We went to the Copthorne Tara Hotel for afternoon tea, we had a voucher and though it was excellent value. You got unlimited tea which was a bonus and a great selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. The bread could have been been fresher and they needed more selection for the vegetarian. The staff were attentive and made sure we were happy. It is also a hotel with a chiense restaurant and a bar...
Very nice hotel and good location, close to the bus and metro station. Many restaurants around and also many shops. The staff was particularly nice, we could even make our check-in before 12. We had a club room, which offers a great view and a happy hour. The breakfast was good, it had many options.

A pleasant enough stay. Food was pretty good in the onsite pub and the room was comfortable. The parking here is extremely expensive. £44 for stays of 12-24 hours (basically an overnight stay).
Clean room, bins emptied every day. Good selection of hot drinks. Fridge in the room. Toiletries in the bathroom. Really impressed with the overall experience. We didn't book a breakfast, but we did have it one morning we fancied it and you just go and pay for it.
Let me check in early at 8am, super friendly and professional service at the front desk and a really great price. The rooms are on the smaller side and a bit dated but clean, comfortable and quiet which is really the most important thing. Stayed at a much more expensive older hotel during the same trip but didn't stop hearing the floor boards squeaking above - no such thing here. Best of all, a really...
Great place great staff and a very friendly environment you feel right at home. I attend the carribean banqueting function that is held there regularly and always have a great night of good food and pleasant entertainment. I really recommend you try it out.
Super comfortable, the disabled bathroom was huge, everything we requested was put in the room prior to arrival. Blue Badge parking was free which was an amazing convenience for us. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and happy to go above and beyond for us. The best customer service we have ever received at any hotel. London, St Katherines' Way 🧭 Map
Stayed here just the once on memorial weekend in 2017. The hotel facilities are amazing and well worth the prices in my own opinion. The rooms aren’t cheap, but the location is fantastic! You are right outside the Tower of London and there’s a tube station round the corner. Staff are very friendly and helpful, there was a big group of us staying and all checking in at the same time so it could have...
A pretty crowded hotel - I had to wait for approximately 20 minutes at the check-in queue! The views are stunning - and even though I didn’t manage to get a room facing Tower Bridge, I was still impressed with the panorama. The room was quite large and the bed extremely comfortable. I only had a small issue, due to which I give this place 4 stars - long story short, I travelled for “business” purposes...
I attended a wedding here. Beautiful place with great views from the room windows. The function rooms and halls are also very well placed. Coatroom staff were a bit off in their own world and took about 20 minutes to carry out a simple task, but everything else made up for it. The layout is a little confusing at times, but the decor makes up for that.
Stunning view of Tower Bridge. Room was average, bed firm but comfortable. Hotel staff are polite. However... breakfast is a stressful challenging experience with queues for tables and food starting early. Xi bar - Often bar staff add their own tips to your bill without asking. Same experience in the coffee bar on the ground floor.
Just got back from a fabulous weekend with my sister! Hotel is in a wonderful position we had a Thames and Tower Bridge view - amazing at night!! Big thanks to Paulo who checked us in and to Fabio who sorted our WiFi (several times!) The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

This was definitely a wonderful hotel to stay in. Great customer service. Although in the higher price range for a quick stay it was close to almost everything so it made it accessible. Close to public transportation and shopping. Loved staying here. PS: I couldn't figure out how to work the heater for the life of me lol
I really enjoyed my stay at the Strand Palace. The rooms are small compared to Canadian hotels which I was familiar. We upgraded to a king room and that felt better. The included daily breakfast was excellent. You have to ask for cream for your coffee, as all the tables normally have milk.
Good service. Rooms were older then expected. Bed good but washroom could use update. Great location. Scent in lobby too strong. Would return :)

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable, exactly what you need after a very busy day sightseeing and shopping. The staff were amazing. The extra cost of the executive suite with access to the Amba Lounge was well worth it. I’m already plotting an excuse to come and stay here again.
What an amazing hotel with luxury and wonderful staff. I have used this hotel for years and I keep coming back because of the people that work here. They are welcoming and pleasant and try their hardest to make sure you have a memorable stay
As for my experience of this hotel the location is excellent and the rooms I have stayed in are good but the service is not good for cleaning the rooms
Short walk from Marble Arch tube and bus routes. Concierge service. Have not stayed overnight so unable to comment on accommodation, however conference room facilities are very good as is the catering which is served in a spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Nicely decorated and presented. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is very nice and in a good location within walking distance of tube. The bathroom has excellent counter space for all your things. The room is a good size and clean.
A good hotel. Room size was small to my liking as is the toilet size. But then this is London. Staff courteous. Tube station Shepard's Bush is 5 minutes walk. I recommend it strongly for a short stay
Lovely hotel, stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. The beds are comfy and the bathroom has always been clean. The buffet breakfast is great and has a wide selection, it’s definitely worth adding it on to your booking before you get there, the price is much higher if you decide on the day.
Excellent location, great service. Enjoyed the executive lounge I had access to as part of HHonours. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on. Room was open and clean. All toiletries as expected. Overall a great experience.

Wildly overpriced. Walls are thin as paper so if you want a good night sleep, bring earplugs. Many of the rooms are a long walk from the lifts. If you are disabled, make sure to request a room closer to the lifts. Overall the service was pleasant and rooms clean. The best feature was probably the bed - surprisingly comfortable for a hotel bed. Worst part: cleaners walking in on my morning shower. Latch...
One night stay in London and the Novotel was grand. We had a family room which had more than sufficient space for us. Although we didn't use all the facilities those that we did were excellent. The bar in the evening had a fantastic barman, sorry I forget his name,... ? We paid for breakfast to be included and that was well worth it. A self service arrangement that allows you to choose from a vast...
Me and my fiancee stayed at Novotel West London for 2nights. The staff were fantastic. Marjorie who works at the hotel arrange to make our stay extra special by decorating our room in a 'Harry Potter' theme as we got engaged that week and were in London to see the Stage show (HP and the Cursed Child). The beds are comfy, the rooms are a good size, and the en suite was modern. Also the breakfast...
Not the best Novotel, you're better off either saving money and staying at an Ibis or looking for better hotels in the price range. Very basic room, although the location is very good for London Olympia and the close the underground station. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Wish rooms would improve.

Great hotel in a good location. Upstairs bar was very laid back with great views of the city. Very close to the tower bridge tube station, that makes it a very convenient place to stay if you want to navigate around the city. Lots of near by touristy stuff to do as well.
Great location. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff, especially at the concierge who found my coat! Check in was slow and it wasn't that busy - so not sure if this is standard or just bad luck. Breakfast served until 11am and has superb buffet selection. Was very very busy with queues out the door waiting to be seated 20minutes or so prior to service closing. Would happily stay here again.
Brilliant location, a few minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station. Check in was great, very friendly and chatty concierge and a warm cookie as a welcome! Rooms were a good size, shower is lovely. Signed up to the Hilton Honors scheme and so got complimentary WiFi. Seated quickly for a very nice breakfast. Cocktails were great too! We will definitely stay here again.
Very conveniently located, nicely styled, all rooms and facilities modern and practical. Friendly, helpful staff. Several options for dining and relaxing. Executive lounge has long opening hours, but the choices there are a bit limited. Rooms more spacious than many other options in the area. Main restaurant for breakfast can be a bit crowded at peak times. Reception working very effectively. Rooftop...

I use this hotel as a meeting venue. It's convenient in London just next door to the Gloucester Road tube. The hotel itself is excellent value for money considering it's location. The meeting rooms I have used are perfectly fine for an internal meeting, they are abit tired As are the bedrooms but perfectly adequate. The staff are helpful but trying to find one sometimes can be a little tricky!
For a large hotel with a diversity of customers, the Millennium Gloucester delivered a consistency with staff friendliness and helpfulness including the restaurant hostess and wait personnel, reception, concierge and maintenance staff. We stayed for a week, and our room was exceptionally quiet and functional. The housekeeping supervisor came to our room to inquire about our satisfaction. The features...
These guys are the best. Yes the Hotel is elegant and is perfectly positioned in Kensington but what sets them apart is after arriving at 640AM a wretched night in a sleeper car from Edinburgh where the mattress was shedding fiberglass so that every inch of me itched and my AirBNB did not open until 3pm, these folks answered the phone at 5 AM while inbound on the train, confirmed a room would be available...
This hotel is amazing. Rom the room to the location. It's right next to Gloucester Road station and there are so many restaurants and and supermarkets around which makes it so easy to find whatever you need at whatever time. Staff are amazingly friendly and so helpful. The gym is big and so are the rooms. My stay here is always so wonderful.

I stayed here one night as I was looking for a nearby hotel and I came across this one. I booked a normal double room but I was upgraded to a double suite. I was happy to hear about this, but as soon as I walked the room's door, there was about 20 steps of stairs which lead to the room that was located up the stairs. I wasn't aware of this because I had a suitcase with me and I'm only petite; so had...
I have stayed here twice in 5 years and I’m going to return in July 2018. It’s a great hotel with such character the beds are really comfy. The rooms feel homely and clean, The style is of a time gone by. I like that.. The bathrooms and baths are really nice. It’s just a Home from Home to me. You feel safe of a night time. Friendly staff; excellent location; value for money; never seen a breakfast offer as good and I’ve travelled a lot; level club well run too and a brilliant idea
Fantastic location, but not many restaurants nearby. All of the staff were from Spain, so as a native English speaker heading to England I had hoped not to have a language barrier. They were all very polite, friendly, and helpful but it would have been nice to have a native speaker on staff. The rooms are small, presumably due to the age of the hotel. The rooms appeared well kept but a few minor issues...
Hmm... Yes, I would go to this hotel again. Though and would put three stars in the review - just because cards were demagnetized, judging by earlier reviews, so they are demagnetized. Great for travellers on a budget. The room is very small but the bed is comfortable. It is close to the bus stop and the tube station. The food is average however it is enough to get you started for the day. There is also a nice pub. The staff are very friendly. It is not luxurious though so if you are looking for luxury skip this one.
Its OK, got a twin room instead of the double booked but still comfortable. Food in the pub could be better but the buffet restaurant is much better. Rooms were too hot and even if you turned off the fan/heating it was too much but I suppose better than being freezing.

I came here for a business conference. It was an excellent venue for the conference. The rooms were very nice but small (typical for Europe though). The onsite restaurant served great food with a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was beautiful throughout and the conference areas as well. Bonus points for having a rowing machine in the fitness center!
The rooms were big and comfortable, and the hotel is located in a walkable distance from a tube station. The bathrooms were spacious and clean and you'd do well to find a hotel of a better quality for the same price. The only small shortcoming of the place (it isn't even their fault) is that there aren't a lot of good food options located in its vicinity.
If you get room 1260 you'll be woken up in the night by the ice machine that's right outside. It's trying to be uber trendy with wall to wall LED lights as if you're looking in the night sky in the main foyer above the escalators to the restaurant. Almost reminded me of the entrance to a fashionable clothes store. Bed was a bit hard and four small pillows, but I think that's the minimalist style they...
We stayed here for our anniversary celebration. The river side view was great. We had a double room but the bed was bigger than king size and was very comfy. We stopped on the bar for a drink while live jazz was playing. Great...
Great service. Good location you can reach important things by foot. Good view if you have got a room on the river side. Only negative is that your car is parked sometimes far off the hotel. But except this its a good choice. It's focused on business guests but the personal is family friendly, too.
Great hotel with lovely, professional staff. They gave me a free upgrade. Rooms are not sound proof and the hotel is near the road so expect considerable noise. Though I requested a quiet room it was not considered and I ended up in a noisy room. Roomservice is extra ordinary and they have nice discounts on the meals. Location is pretty good, very close to Buckingham palace. The rooms are what you would expect in a European hotel. I do think they are nicer than most I've stayed in. Our room was small but that's expected. Our AC worked great and the breakfast was probably the best I'd ever had in a European hotel.
This hotel is beautifully elegant. I was upgraded to a lovely suite. Furnishings are stunning, bathroom and amenities superb, in room amazing coffee and tea selection, gorgeous lobby, great restaurants and bar. Beautiful hotel with impeccable and speedy service at all hours. It is an elegant jewel in the Marriott hotels stable of upmarket hotels.
Lovely hotel, conveniently located next to Victoria Station. We had a suite, which was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was attentive and gracious. Generous complimentary breakfasts and happy hours. No real complaints. I would definitely stay there again.
I stayed here on two separate trips for roughly 1 week a piece. The hotel is extremely charming to a London first-timer, and is located at the all too convenient Victoria Underground station(it's literally built into the hotel).
