Love holidays changed our hotel last minute and we ended up in Jo an beach. There was only one bar meaning you had to walk up from the beach and pool to get a drink. Ridiculous in the heat. The dinner hall was very small and it was always a struggle to get a table and you often had to queue. When you could get a seat you couldn’t get moved for people and you often had to ask people to tuck their chairs in which was difficult when no one spoke English there. When you did get to the bar you often had to wait a long time for a drink. The all inclusive drinks were 5 cocktails and flat beer. Terrible. You are not allowed to take drinks to your room. Never heard this in any other hotel. There was no entertainment on and no music even at the small pool. This hotel is for people aged 60 plus. Do not go here if you are young and want to have fun. The hotel is in the middle of no were. The bus only comes once an hour as and when it feels like it. We wasted £800 for this holiday. To leave the hotel and you have to pay 80 euro is terrible aswell. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone.

I definitly disadvicet. Wasted vacation. The crew from the hotel really unpolite. When the all inclusive service so stupit rules. Standing in the row and the quee and expecting for the meal. You have to forget about go to the restaurant twice time during the same meal, because you recive the objection. Drinking the horible drinks it is also problematic. Its prohibited drinking on the deckchairs not allowed o the Beach. It wil the best if you will dance in the front of the waiter and you apologize that you want to order something. If I think that I worked so hard during all over the year and spent my money and I expirienced so disgustet treatment. I am ungry for myself that i spended my vacation in that bad place

My stay at this hotel was truly amazing! The entire staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming. A special thank you to Michael, who stands out not only for being great at his job, but also for his charisma, sense of humor, and the positive energy he brings every day.
The food was delicious, with lots of variety and rich local flavors – special greetings to Chef Fotis for the incredible meals. Everyone working here makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The only thing I would slightly improve is the hair dryer in the bathroom – it heats up quickly and doesn’t work that well, but it’s just a small detail compared to how great everything else was.

I am happy and grateful for Dimitris and Dimitra for making me an exception for the coctail without alcohol. The other personnel shift could not make the drink without one ingridient. I am enjoying the outter bar near by receiption. Thanks Dimitris!

The hotel is still in 80' that they made it. Rooms old, dirty, my son got infected from an incect from the beds. Arrogant and rude director, was talking bad not only at customer but on personnel as well. Tottaly inapropriate persons to be manager on a hotel. Food below zero...the chocolate cerials are like stones, does ever from the kitchen taste them?
The only bride exception on that hotel Mr Sifis at the reception, Mr Kostas at the reception night shift and the cleaning ladies....

Came for a lovely family holiday of 13 people. The staff were really caring and suited our needs. They often made it possible for us to sit next to each other at breakfast, lunch and dinner which we were really grateful for. The food was amazing and drinks were served fast and were nice.
The room was spacious and homely, my daughter had a separate room with a bed which was useful as we could shut the door and give her privacy. However, there was a constant irritating noise coming from the bathroom every few minutes and disturbed our sleep. Wasn’t a lot of entertainment but when there was it was really fun and made everyone get involved. Overall a great experience. Many thanks to the bar staff for being super nice and funny, the restaurant staff for providing us with great service and the receptionists were nice and welcoming. We had a great time!!

Stayed 1 week in Sept 2024, very nice service, great food (buffet) with very friendly service.
It’s 7 km from Rethymno But there are many shops and supermarkets around, and there is a bus into town.
The hotel is right on the ocean with a very nice beach, but there are stones in the water so you might want to bring water shoes or you can buy them anywhere around.
We loved the crazy birds, specially between 9 to midnight…they are adorable to watch.
The hotel is on the Main Street here so you will hear the traffic plus buffet service starts early so it got a bit noisy starting 7am.
All in all: great value for what you get, we loved it … Ευχαριστώ

the worst 4 star hotel we have ever stayed in Crete. we had cockroaches in the room. the maids had insecticide spray in their carts. rooms very outdated. thorough renovations are needed. the hotel staff is friendly. Maria at the bar on the beach was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. otherwise the hotel is in a good location. the hotel does not deserve 4 stars

Pool bar is fine but should open at 10, opens at 11. Also closing at 17:30 instead at 18 as is in papers. Main bar complete disaster. You be lucky to get 4 drinks within 3 hours. Main restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner has insufficient capacity. Food is not seasoned enough and boring. Lack of variety, still same. Would not visit again. Even on Greek standards, this is not 4 stars Hotel. Face better accommodation in 3+ stars hotel in Greece.

We had a good time here, there was a few issues with room but the receptionist sorted it out. Staff were really friendly. Good food and drinks if ordered at the bar or pool bar was served in proper glasses which is nice for an all inclusive hotel. Beach is not the best but right next to the hotel which is nice. 30 minutes on the bus to the closest town, but there is plenty of restaurants and shops around.
