Blue Bay Halkidiki Mini-hotel

Wow. So much better than we had even anticipated after reading all the positive reviews. This hotel us superb. The rooms, the staff, the food, the service, the views and the location. We were so lucky to stumble across the Blue Bay whilst searching for a holiday in Halkidiki. We absolutely got lucky in finding this place. The problem being is that it really is a hidden gem and publicity for it will make it much harder to book in future. Truly the staff are a huge asset, they are the most friendly we have ever encountered, from reception staff to restaurant staff to housekeeping staff. Everyone says hello and smiles, asks your wellbeing and cares about your answer. Gabriella was great in assisting with transfers and other enquiries, Maria in the breakfast room is an absolute diamond, the smile and warmth of her welcome and service deserves reward. Only for me not knowing individuals names makes it difficult to praise them in this review. And I wished I did and could. The rooms are terrific, modern, spacious and all with great views of the bay/sea and peninsula. The food served is very well presented, tasty and of good proportions. Probably one of the best 2/3 buffet breakfasts we have had in 26 years of holidaying 2/3 times a year across Europe and N.America. If you are considering booking this hotel, don't even think about not doing so. It will be your lose, believe me.

My sister and I have just returned after our 3rd visit to this hotel. The atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil. All the staff are friendly, helpful and are genuinely happy. I'd like to give out a special thank you to Maria (the waitress) and Vasilis, who looked after us so well, from knowing what beverages we liked (Radler and Feddo iced) We will definitely be booking again for next year! Thank you all for making us welcome.

The hotel is situated overlooking the crystal clear waters of Afitos beach, steps lead down to the beach and are a gradual 155 of them. You can always order a taxi up or down. Two swimming pools but we only tried out the main one although the smaller pool was still a decent size. Room excellent and clean and had all we needed, every member of staff was very friendly and did all they could to help. Breakfast wasn’t to my taste but my wife loved the fruit. We ate a couple of times and the food was generally good. As for a town Afitos is beautiful and around a 10 minute walk away. Great restaurants and bars all coming alive after the heat has subsided. 10/10 especially staff.

Great hotel , wonderful staff and excellent location, just a few words too describe our holiday we have just had . Hotel is spotless and our room , 420 , had a great view . Shout out to all the staff and the lads who made wonderful cocktails especially the pina colada

An exquisite experience, that offers to the guest tranquility and calmness, breathtaking stunning view, clean tidy and spacious rooms, well trained polite stuff, extended tasteful menu with room service provided. An atmosphere that makes you relax,all this unended blue takes your mind away.... a feeling that i take back home with me and cant wait to feel again!

Stunning hotel Rooms: in the middle of renovating the rooms, so some have the older aesthetic and others are ultra modern. The older rooms aren’t even outdated! Most rooms have an incredible view too!!! The entire hotel was extremely clean and maintained well. Staff were all friendly. Food was amazing, so so tasty. Sunbeds- not a lot around the pool but there aren’t any turf wars. I would 100% recommend this hotel and also return myself. Only slight niggle- not much entertainment in the evenings. Someone playing an instrument or something wouldn’t go a miss.

Very nice hotel Witz excellent staff very nice rooms and very clean. Only minus is the breakfast quality, which doesn’t come close to a 4 star hotel in Greece quality, and selection wise.
A la cart restaurant is very good.

2nd Visit after a 5 year gap and we were not disappointed. Amazing views, super clean in all areas,hard working happy staff at the whole hotel big shout out to both Maria's in restaurant and Maria in the wellness centre is amazing at treatments highly recommend spoiling yourself and having a treatment. If I had to find a niggle it would be the usual people putting towels down at a ridiculous time in the morning and this is not a criticism of the hotel . Lovely to walk down to the beach sea super clear but beach bar is a rip off and nothing Todo with the hotel. Afitos is a lovely village masses of lovely places to have a drink and food . We will come back booked direct with the hotel and that was very easy Todo .

Amazing locations with easily one of the best panoramic views I've ever seen. Very generous breakfast and tasty dishes (and the cafe and restaurant both have the best view). Comfy and tranquil, with 2 pools, ideal for a few days of relaxation, and Afytos is really close if you want a more crowded night out. Would recommend 100%!
