Fantastic Hotel in a great location, lovely pool area, and great facilities. Rooms are modern, clean and with all the amenities.
This is our second stay here, however what is a little disappointing, on this occasion the management have adapted a policy of charging extra for Breakfast items ( fried eggs, omelettes, certain coffees). This seems quite strange for a high end 5 star hotel, I would have given 5 stars had it not been for for the penny pinching policy at Breakfast.

Opulent immediately comes to mind here. Full of marble and luxurious character, this is a great place to stay, on the water, with walkable access to the center of town. The food reflects all the best in Greek cuisine - and the staff is so so friendly.
Why a 4 and not 5? Dear Makedonia … that room next to the pool that starts with a G and ends with an M needs a serious upgrade.

A little bit outside of the busy centre, this hotel is a wonderful oasis of tranquility, luxury and excellent service. An excellent breakfast, and a romantic dinner in the outside restaurant completed the impression. We loved the swimming pool, too.

We were at the hotel with a large group for professional reasons. The view from the sea view rooms is great and quiet. Towards the city the exact opposite.
The staff, especially at the reception is very unfriendly and unfortunately not on the level of 5 stars. During the calls the phone is constantly answered and you are not greeted in a friendly manner.

(A not nice fact was that one of my clothes, which I had accidentally left behind, was not "found".)

We stayed three nights in a junior suit. The hotel is just outside of city center. The building has a character and very well maintained. Our room was big enough and well equipped. Good housekeeping.
This is most probably the most expensive hotel in Thessaloniki. It is quite weird in such a hotel to charge extra for a coffee other than filter, our a fried egg at the breakfast! We waited 19 minutes for our tea and after three reminder they served boiled water in a pot with two tea bags on a small dish!
At the bar, it would be better to serve a "made to order" Mojito instead of a ready mix kept in room temperature and poured on ice cubes!

A clean and spacious hotel. Room and bathroom hygiene and bed quality are at the highest level. The breakfast place and buffet are super. If I go to Thessaloniki again, this is the hotel I will definitely stay at. The price-quality balance is at an optimum level.

Great Hotel! The staff can speak multiple languages! The breakfast is full of variety! You can swim and place orders for food/drinks. So much more!

Great experience. They have a great breakfast and have gluten free bread (which is amazing) and the staff knows about gluten allergies which was nice for a change. The only bad part is the showers, as they do not have a full door (by design) and flood the bathroom every time you take a shower.

If visiting Thessaloniki, this is the hotel you must stay it. It’s on the waterfront. Amazing location, 5min walk from the tower. The view of the harbour is beautiful day and night. Staff are exceptionally friendly in all areas of the hotel. Very service oriented. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Prices are reasonable given the hotel category. Breakfast buffet is huge with many options. Attached to the hotel but accessible from the outside, there is an Italian restaurant, we ate there and it was so good we went back for a second time. After having stayed at Makedonia Palace, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in this city.

The kettle and coffee machine were dusty. You have to pay for a latte during breakfast even though breakfast is included in the room. Its a bit far from the city center but located in from of the sea. You can rent bikes and scooters and go for a jog or walk. Over all it was a good experience. Street and sea view room all are pretty good.
