Caldera Romantica

The property is very nice and our balcony came with a nice Caldera view. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was polite. The salt water pool was very nice.The Junior suite with balcony was nice but the way to the bed had ladder and one had to mind your head when you are upstairs because I bumped my head into the ceiling twice, so be careful. The only problem was the tap water. It was as as good as the sea water. Very bad quality and it felt as if I was taking shower in sea water, the only negative part about it. I lived in other Hotels in Santorini and the water quality was way better. But overall it was a nice experience.

Good room, really nice swimming pool and all the staff is really nice

Beautiful staying in Santorini, we spent 5 days here and we couldn't ask for a better staying.
The staff was great, very friendly and when we asked for something they were always ready to satisfy our requests.
It's a very cosy hotel not too far from Thira but in a strategic location to visit the island.
Consider that you need a car to visit the island from here, we booked it directly from the airport.
This was our third time in Santorini and it won't be the last one, here we found a good value for money, a good reason to come back...
Breakfast was very good, a good choice of sweet and salty food.

We arrived really late, thanks to a delay but they looked after us and made sure we were fed and happy.
The whole team are really good and made our holiday one to remember.
Overall the facilities are very good for the star rating, the room was very clean, the bed large and so comfortable, and the the balcony gave us probably the best view of the famous Santorini sunsets. The only, slight issue with the room was the smell of the drain in the bathroom, however this was remedied quickly.
The food was generally very good, however, we did a half board deal through Tui and we were late in the season so there were a few nights with just us in the restaurant so the food was reheated by the lady on reception, which was a shame because, on the other nights it was excellent.
Akrotiri, no not the one in Cyprus, is at the farthest end of the island from Oia, which isn't that far but it's not on a reliable bus route so, if you can't drive or aren't prepared to get a hire car then this isn't the place for you. The nearest beach, at 1.5km away isn't the best on the island so you'd be better off in Perissa or Kamari if that's what you want.
However, the pool area is very good and the price of refreshments is reasonable so, if all you want is to lounge and take it easy then it certainly fits the bill.

Great customer service, all hotel staff very welcoming and helpful. The location is great if you are looking for something away from all the busy noise. There is a great sunset view just a five minute walk away. The pool is 2.5meters deep which makes it great for tall guys like myself. Relaxing environment overall. The only downfall is the breakfast variety!

We booked the room with the sea view which is a very modern nice room with great view. It is our second time to this hotel and we are very pleased. For sure will be back again in the future.

PS. You need to rent a car or bike since hotel is an quite area away from the crowded places.

Great hotel in Santorini away from the crazy crowds of Oia and Fira but with the same amazing view of the caldera. They have a nice pool and can arrange port, airport pickup and vehicle rental so you can visit all of the towns and beautiful beaches. They also have a good restaurant on-site that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. The staff is also very friendly and will ensure you have a great vacation!

Few days ago we returned from this accomodation, all I can say is: we have spent one wonderful week in this hotel.
The location (astonishing view around the island), exceptional food, extremely friendly staff (thanks Iwanna), clean rooms, clean pool.....
Only weaknesses: somethimes loud traffic and because the location of the hotel is not near city, you have to rent a car& scooter to reach something interesting (beaches, restaurants, bars....).

The place has high reviews so we made a trip out to visit this restaurant for an early dinner. It’s in a rural location and we’ll worth the drive for the beautiful view and food. The chef is a lady who emphasizes only fresh ingredients. For example, I asked for tomato paste and I got a side of the freshest sweetest tomatoes, they don’t carry ketchup or tomato paste. Their fish was tender and melted in your mouth. The fish came with a carefully prepared side of kale salad. It’s the sweetest little place with excellent food!

We were eating spontaneous there and definitely not the last time. They have a small selection of tasty creations. If you are looking for quality and not quantity for a good price, you will get very happy in this restaurant during watching the sunset.
