The hotel was amazing with very friendly staff and the breakfast was fantastic. The host in the restaurant, George was really cute and nice. I would definitely stay there again, wish I could stay longer

The best swimming pool in Athens, we love visiting Fenix because it is a tranquil place where we can enjoy our swimming.

*This review is only for the restaurant* We dinned there after a wedding ceremony. The prepared menu was neatly cooked and all the varieties of meat tasted great

For a restaurant of a 4-star hotel though, it wasn't something spectacular. The waiting staff were fast and polite, despite the 70 people that they had to serve

If you want to stay here, you will possibly enjoy the restaurant too

We have stayed in many hotels in Greece, and many in other countries as well, not the fanciest or most comfortable for the price, but the location near the tram and beach are good and the rooms are clean

The bathroom was on the smaller size but it was clean, hot water and complimentary shampoo, bodywash and hand soap is provided. The price of the room which sleeps 3 was surprisingly cheap at €51 a night

The location is not very good for the people around the hotel. There is a parking near the hotel. In the 8° floor there is a panoramic terrace where you can see the Parthenon

Best, friendliest and most hospitable staff. Super helpful and were always smiling making sure we were okay and had what we needed. The hotel's surrounding area is not the best and wouldn't recommend for families

Hotel is close to everything to see in Athens and it's definitely possible to avoid the main short-cut into the city that made most people feel uneasy

Upon arriving, it appeared not as expected. However, staff is welcoming, the room clean, i was surprised how comfortable the bed was and room big

Overall, it's a great hotel and if you're travelling with other people the area shouldn't put you off

The hotel is a nice budget place, near the centre for a reasonable price. Breakfast is ok, but the same every day, enough not to be hungry

The good thing you do not to be on time, all food is brought even if you are after the time. The staff is friendly and really nice, speak a lot of languages

The neighborhood is disgusting, be aware of your suitcases, immigrants and drug addicts may steal if you do not pay attention

We stayed there from Friday to Wednesday. A very nice hotel next to a metro stadion. The staff was very friendly and helpful, you would not see that in many hotels. Also they organize us a taxi to the airport

I stayed at the Lydia in May 2022. It's a simple and basic hotel which is clean, safe and has the things you need. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Your belongings are safe in their rooms

The hotel is literally only minutes walk away from the Attiki metro and gives access to the Greater Athens Area. You can see the Acropolis at night from your balcony if you are on the top floor

The rooms have a balkony with a view to the Akropolis. Alltough the a very clean and the cleani g staff is nice. I recommend everybody this hotel

Cosy atmosphere, short stay and long-term stays in the hotel are available and great location.totally value for money for sure. Recommended

Pleasant economical place to stay to be close to the beach and away from the crowds of central Athens. Good WiFi aircon and satellite tv in a very quiet location. Breakfast a bit limited but decent quality.

Basic hotel, clean, but in a nice area, walk to lovely restaurants and shopping. Breakfast simple but nice.

I do hate that, although my boyfriend smokes and I used to, walking into a room and smelling smoke or another unpleasant smell is not what you want before a nights sleep but our room personally didn't smell of smoke

Just one available plug socket in room. Does have carpet which you do think is more unhygienic however if they changed it, it wouldn't be 28 euros a night! Nice lighting that can be dimmed

Clean sheets, bathroom and floors, shower pressure was great - powerful, really soft water, two little soaps and one small shampoo provided, four white towels and a little hairdryer

When staying there, don't forget to have lunch or dinner at "Ouzeri tou Laki", just two blocks away, maybe the best place for fresh fish and seafood plates at very low prices

I am usually very picky when it comes to hotels but this one was great considering it was just 28 euros. Very small room with just a little room around the bed to walk

I booked 2years ago, but it was not refundable. The hotel said it is not important wether it is refundable or not, we can come anytime if we want for the same price

Good place to stay for a night or two before returning to the airport next morning, for example. 5 min walk to a gated and organized beach (catering mostly to families with little kids and seniors)

15 min walk to a cluster of decent restaurants. Overall good value, although some of the rooms feel a bit dated and could benefit from a renovation

Pros: Great price, great location relatively near the Acropolis and subway, balcony overlooking the street, quiet location, comfortable bed, friendly people, wonderful view of the Acropolis (albeit from the hallway), very clean for an older building, free breakfast

Stayed for 5 nights first part of our holiday in Athens. Going back. Third time we have stayed here in 26yrs.3rd generation owner friendly staff. Great breakfast and very clean comfy rooms.

Cons: No elevator for a fourth-floor apartment, bathroom was a little down the hall rather than in the room, breakfast was fine but the same every day and nothing special (bread, hard-boiled egg, ham, cheese, cake, olives, apple)

Friendly hotel in great location, right off the Plaka pedestrian area. Rooms aren't fancy but clean and pleasant. Place has a homey feel to it, random furniture, paintings, juke box

You can feel the family pride as they bend over backwards to be helpful

I have been spending many holidays through the past 30 years there. and it has become my second home. Ultimate views to Acropolis from certain rooms. Very sweet and helpful owners

The room was clean, we didn't take breakfast, but there are plenty of options around. Definitely worth it for a couple on a budget stay in Athens. Easy access to acropolis by bus 40 or 5 (30 min away)

Nice clean rooms with helpful staff located in a residential area. Not close to Acropolis but has good connectivity to Piraeus port, Airport by express bus and site seeing places. To withdraw cash: check this ATM

My partner and I spent two nights at the hotel in mid-October. The staff were friendly and happy to answer all our questions. The city centre is not that close, but you can get there realivetly quickly by bus

Only the shower head and water mixer in our room (107) could use a replacement. And one power outlet was half blocked by the bed so impossible to use. But that's just small details which didn't impact much

So much better than a 2 star Hotel. They deserved to become a more star 🌟. Near to public stations, bus and Tramway, near to Ocean like 5 minet white Tramway. Near to restaurants and mini Markets

Very polite and helpful staff. The room was very clean and renovated. Huge bathroom with a very big shower area. Silent room, no noise during the night. Late check-out available with extra charge

Metro station is 50m from the hotel, which is very convenient. The rooms are reasonably new and spacious. Overall a good option for travelers on a budget who are after a 3 stars comfort

If you are on a medium budget then this is a very good choice. Tons of food places around and on 2 stops away from the party district with the 360 bar that has an amazing view of the Acropolis

Came with air conditioning that worked well and it was away from you so just leave it on to keep the room cool. Had its own fridge which was surprisingly spacious for a mini fridge, can get big bottle's in it

There is a small shop around the corner with food and drinks and some local takeways around the corner. The room we had was big, clean and modern. One problem is the lift is very small

For the price we paid for our holiday it was worth it. The area is not the best but haven't had any trouble. The metro is 30 seconds away from the front door so that's brilliant

Wardrobe with a safe in it that you put your own code in and it's own bathroom with shower. Read a review that said it had low water pressure but not had any troubles

Price is decent. Hotel is super clean. I did not find signs of being outdated, nice fresh paint inside, basic but modern furniture. Very friendly reception, offered every help and water at once. Smells good.

A convenient hotel for one or two nights to help meeting ferry timetables. They tend to leave early and come back later, so it's nice to be close. Well priced and decent rooms. I've stayed there a few times

Quite nice and basic hotel for the price. Right next to the Piraeus harbour and thus very convenient if you are leaving early or coming to town late. The AC in the room was not the most silent one but did its work

This in not a fancy hotel by any means, but it is safe, clean and convenient to the port. There was a coffee shop across the street that we got coffee and pastries for breakfast

We got a room that had a bright light outside, and the curtains don't really block it that well so it was a bit hard to sleep. Overall it's not a bad place for what we paid for

Don't expect too much, basic hotel. Friendly staff. We were taking the 7:30am ferry so this is an excellent choice to spend the night before travelling to the islands.

Conveniently located right next to the Piraeus Port. It's a minimalistic place, great for a quick crash if you just need to catch an early vessel the next day

It's well located, near the center of Athens,(10min on foot) and next to the metro. The neighborhood is quiet, it's not what people think it is. If you are a student, or a young traveller, the place is very great

If you want close proximity to main train and bus hub, then yes. Comfort... if you're not picky. Overall, fine for the price. Bagpackers will rejoice.

I was afraid to stay there because of the bad reviews but I have to say, I was very satisfied afterwards. We arrived late in the evening with three children, after long way in the ferry from Santorini

I just wanted a place to take a rest for one night, and this hotel was just right for us. We didn't have to walk a long way from the port, the hotel building gave a positive impression outside

There are restaurants and cafes a few minutes walk away where you can get good meals late in the evening or early in the morning. To the metro is also only a few minutes walk

I choose this hotel every summer when I come back to Greece before I leave for the islands. Amazing location, close to shopping centers , very clean , quiet

Staff is very helpful and the hotel is full of regulars/locals from the islands that stay there all the time when they visit Piraeus

Charming hotel in an old historical building. The rooms are very clean with high ceilings. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but it's worth spending a night in this conveniently located hotel.

It's a nice place. Only cash, despite they claim to take them, it's very old, in good conditions tough...

The location is nice, right by the beach, some shops around, but at this price you can't expect much, clean room with bed, air conditioning, but the place doesn't look very well, a renovation might be needed.

Well its a 1-star hotel, so the quality is adequate to the category. Not very clean rooms with some insects, without a fridge, the common bathrooms are also quite bad

And the location is perfect, near the VIP area of Voula, directly on the seashore, and you have everything around. kiosk, restaurants, fast food, and a bus stop

But I had a balcony with a side sea view, the staff was quite friendly, I could use also their fridge and printer

For 2 nights it was ok, because I wanted to save money, but its not recommended for a longer stay
