The small balcony in the room is nice, the rooftop terrace is also very good, the staff are very nice, the location is also very convenient, and it is very cost-effective.

Clean and sanitary, not too big but sufficient, with small windows for ventilation.

My husband and I are not English-speaking, but they helped us solve our problems, such as printing our boarding passes and storing our luggage. The best experience lies in its refrigerator, which makes them special from any other similar hostels in Athens. Considering the price, everything is theoretically Impeccable, beds are good, bathrooms are good, air-conditioning is good, staff are dood.

The environment is very good. The best youth hostel I have ever stayed in in Europe.

The location is very convenient, the room and restaurant are spacious. The front desk service is great and nice. It is very convenient to get to the Acropolis, museums and other attractions.

Very good, the room is clean and sanitary, the location is very good, very close to the Acropolis. The breakfast here is average, 6 or 7 euros, and does not include drinks. I personally think it is not worth it, but most of the surrounding areas are this price.

The staff where extremely friendly as soon as we got there. Even though we arrived quite late at around midnight. The room we stayed in was clean with blankets and sheets. Although one sheet did seem to have a cigarette burn in. But either way, they where clean. The sink did seem to make a slight odd smell however. Someone previous might have poured something in there. Closed to historical center. We could see a lot of men in skirts in the building across the street. A lot of museum population in the area

Good place for people who want to rest from the city chaos but in the same time to be able to take a look on night city, more relaxed, with charming lights.

Me and my boyfriend, a one night stay, Thursday 12th Sep 1am arrival - Thursday 12th 6.30am departure - a pit stop in between a long journey. I am usually very picky when it comes to hotels but this one was great considering it was just 28 euros. Very small room with just a little room around the bed to walk. Free WIFI, TV, small balcony where you could fit one chair which we transferred from inside...

Clean and tidy, with friendly staff. Very good value for money! Conveniently located near the centre of Athens, a short walk from the metro station. When staying there, don't forget to have lunch or dinner at "Ouzeri tou Laki", just two blocks away, maybe the best place for fresh fish and seafood plates at very low prices. It also offers a great selection of ouzo and tsipouro.

Good location near center of Athens, clean, friendly staff, value for money, but breakfast is not great and it's noisy at night so we could not sleep hence only 3 stars

the room was clean and comfortable and the stuff was very kind. good wifi. The neighborhood is not exactly "safe" to walk around during the night and it was pretty loud. The breakfast is served in your bedroom and it costs 7 euros but it wasn't enough and the quality was poor.

Very friendly, beautiful old house in the Plaka (but not a noisy area), 10 mins walk from Acropolis which we could see from our window. The lady who runs (and owns it) is very friendly and a wonderful source of knowledge. Very good value. Outstanding!

Perfect location for a semi-solo stay in Athens (daugher was travelling on after 2 days). In the heart of Plaka with all restaurants around. Home from another enjoyable stay at Acropolis House. We had a staggered twelve night stay and enjoyed the comfort of it all. Felt as if we’d never been away, lovely friendly welcome at breakfast from Emannuella and Penny, these ladies work hard providing guests with a good set Greek breakfast, eggs cheese, ham, bread and always fresh cake and fruit. The bedrooms are clean and tidy fresh towels...

The Acropolis House is very well located, with shops, supermarkets and tourist attractions only a few meters away. Its staff is very welcoming, the breakfast was very good too. The family room ok for a couple of nights!

Stayed for 5 nights first part of our holiday in Athens. Going back. Third time we have stayed here in 26yrs.3rd generation owner friendly staff. Great breakfast and very clean comfy rooms.

The hotel is quaint andfull of character and is in a really convenient part of Athens so that you can walk to all of the main sights. The reception were very nice and booked taxis for us to the Ktel bus station for Delphi and for the airport. It was very hot while we were there and we were glad to have airconditioning

Everything that you can expect for that price. Clean and comfy. Reception know English quite well, were helpful and kind.

I had a nice stay (20 days) in the hôtel. It's cheap, the rooms are confortables. The personel is very nice, you can ask them to clean your room when you want. It's well located, near the center of Athens,(10min on foot) and next to the metro. The neighborhood is quiet, it's not what people think it is. If you are a student, or a young traveller, the place is very great.

If you want close proximity to main train and bus hub, then yes. Comfort... if you're not picky. Overall, fine for the price. Bagpackers will rejoice.

This little hotel is cheap and,a bit run down but safe, clean enough and bed was excellent. Staff was friendly. Only the bathroom lets it down. Just one on the second floor shared by 12 rooms. The shower is hot but gets the floor wet. Door wouldnt lock because door frame broke. Toilet paper disappears. Best to bring your own.

I was there for 3 nights and if u expect comfort, please search for another hotel. The only time i saw the receptionist was when i checked in. The room was small but ok. You will have no own bathroom but that was ok because it seemed i was the only person in the hotel the whole time. The neighbourhood was the most awkward thing: it was dirty, loud and full of men from the Middle East and Pakistan/India...

We stayed here for a week to end our holiday in Greece and it was in a great location! All attractions, restaurants and shops were within a very short walking distance. Communication with the host was excellant; access to the building was explained and security codes given for easy access. The studio is OK, but there is no iron, the bed duvets were with dirt spots so I had to use only the bed sheet when sleeping, there is mold in the wardrobes, the bath is really small and the channel gets clogged every time you go to wash yourself.
