The views from some of the rooms and the Rooftop are amazing. You get to see the Acropolis. The Rooftop parties can be very noisy. The kitchen is not well stocked for cooking or even eating a meal. I could not find any silverware. The rooms are clean. Bring your own lock for your locker. It is a tight fit above your bed. There are some private parties on the roof which you'll have to pay to attend...

Rooms are very spacious, service was good, and there's a great rooftop bar that has amazing views of the Acropolis. They do a great breakfast as well. The only issue with a great rooftop bar and it being a mixture of private rooms and hostel style accommodation is that there is a DJ every night so if you're not a party person and wanting a quiet night's sleep, you might struggle! Odd place. The rooms were truly excellent but no one cleans them when you are still staying over. The rooftop bar is a party scene and VERY loud but at least it stops by midnight. We had the private room with own bathroom, so it's a different experience than most I am sure. But the room and bathroom was great. No tv but not needed as there's much to see around town. AC worked well and shower had great water pressure with hot and cold option. Cons: not the best area but it's literally only a few blocks to the good parts, the shower head needs to be held to use if anyone is picky...

Great location, looks edgy but it is not unsafe. We got a 4-bed room w a private bathroom. Was not cleaned once during the 4 nights we stay there. Rooftop bar could be noisy, but the views are great. And the management at the bar is amazing, also the bartenders! Don’t pay for breakfast, not worth it.

Amazing view with small balcony. Good location and nice value for money. The rooftop is a bit pricy but nice staff. Unfortunately the rooms all have heavy doors that close super loudly so you always hear who gets home when :/

I had a great stay here! The location was super close to a lot of major sights and restaurants, and the room was spacious and clean. The shower was also very nice. The only thing I would say is that the toilet was a bit smelly, but looked clean otherwise. Had a good area in the lobby for relaxing and an accessible kitchen. Had our room ready early! So that was great as we were jet lagged. Had recommendations on where to go. For the breakfast, it was good but you can definitely go somewhere else to explore the city more (it is a seat-down rather than a buffet). They had things that you can do (wine tasting, bar hopping)!

Budget friendly option when in Athens. Good beds and nice roof top terrace. The noise from the bars few doors down can be loud. The breakfast that was served next door was amazing!

Overall the hostel was very beautiful, clean, and in a good location. My only issue were the extremely strict quiet hours. After I want to say 10:30-11 the receptionist wouldn’t even let us sit in the common area down stairs away from rooms to hang out…. They also wouldn’t let us go hangout on the the roof top area so that was pretty much useless. We met a great group of friends that were all staying...

By far one of the best hostels I've stayed at! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, willing to help/ show you around. The kitchen and shared spaces are all super funky, colourful and clean. The rooms are really nice, the mattresses are a cloud. Cannot recommend enough. THANK YOU!

Very clean, nice rooms for a good price. It's not too far from attractions like the Acropolis and museums. I paid for a private room but still found that I could hear people late at night in the hallway. So the sound barrier between room and hallway wasn't great. Other than that it's a very nice hostel!

Great location. Couple blocks away from the super touristy areas which makes finding cheap, delicious, local places to eat very easy. Private room was large very clean and had a huge balcony. My friend and I arrived late at night. The check in was quick and easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We received our key card and went into the room. Upstairs we realised, that one of the beds had some blood stains and also the pillow. We just stayed for the night and left the next day. The room is not bad for such a price. But, be prepared for the stairs as there is no elevator. Well, the bathroom... It's an old hotel! The receptionist is not really welcoming and not friendly.

Great hotel with a 1950's style. It even has a winding staircase to complete the old is gold look. The rooms are small but reasonable and the breakfast is quite good. The owner and his son are quite helpful. For food options there is a food truck nearby that serves amazing hot dogs for just €4.

Very interesting place to stay. Modern rooms and beds and everything. But I don't know why, when I've been there it was really dirty. Also photos on the site don't show how is it in real. Don't expect for something really special.

Lovely hostel with great visitors and staff. Beds are comfortable, the noise outdoors is quiet, and the hostel has a great atmosphere for meeting people. Extended my stay here by 5 days for the reasons above.

Its around 25 days which I am staying in welcommon hostel, the staff are so kind and friendly, its so clean and cheap, they have prepared many classes for our children, it is in a the centeral of Athens. once you see then its difficult to leave it. Heartfelt hanks to all guys in Welcommon team for their efforts and well behaved manner and providing reasonable services!

Location is really good, just a short walk from the main attractions. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with any of your questions. And there is free air-conditioning which is a huge bonus! There isn't to much of a social vibe but I would definitely ecommend staying here.

It's cheap, central and the beds are comfy but when the AC dripped on my pillow (all day, saturating it) they didn't give me a new one. Furthermore, on our floor one of the showers didn't have a lock and one of the toilets was out of service. The receptionists were a mixed bunch, some being more helpful and welcoming than others. All that aside, it was worth the money and I would stay again.

I stayed one night, but would have liked to stay longer. They were very booked, and myself and a couple others had to leave and find another hostel. The rooms were clean and not hot at night, with a good blanket provided. There bathrooms were a little tight, some did not have sinks, and soap was not provided. I stayed for one night and it was ok for what I paid, the 24 hour reception was just what I needed and the beds were surprisingly good. The shower wasn't very nice, you'll have to stand in a puddle while you change because there's no drain in the space between the shower and the changing area. The service was great, they were very helpful.

GREAT rooftop open until 1am. Incredible view. Service at front desk was wonderful and helpful. Especially the lady who was very compassionate with my situation (stranded in Athens due to delays and cancelled flights). I booked last minute so missed out on a private room. Only availability was mixed dorm rooms, and personally, I hate these in general, hence the 3 stars for the rooms.

The hostel is very nice, the kitchen is surprisingly clean, the only downside is the noise from the street inside the rooms (especially when the pub crawl comes by). The facilities are great, but what really makes the place worth it are the rooftop and the amazing staff! Big thank you to you all for making my two months here really enjoyable :)

We arrived at 00:50 and desperately needed a place to stay since the check-in for our real stay was a lot later. This Hostel took us in at this spontaneous time and was really friendly and comforting. English was not a problem. VERY VERY CHEAP! The staff here were all helpful and really pleasant to work with. We slept well in rooms that were kept clean and ordered. The food was simple and varied and fresh, with fruit, olives, eggs and toast. As everyone has said, it was an excellent location for exploring Athens. Do not listen to the other negative reviews. This is a satisfactory and comfortable place to stay.

Wonderful central location to walk around Athens. I stayed in a single for privacy etc. The room is appropriate for the price, simple small space, cramped bathroom. The hot water was hot, the bed was reasonable. If you're a larger person the shower might be uncomfortably small. The suggestion to eat at Thanasis, a kebab restaurant nearby was great (order the yogurt kebab).

Great, inexpensive choice for staying in Plaka. The rooms were clean and they serve free breakfast in the morning. This isn't a 5-star hotel by any means but it is nice for a hostel. My 2-person room with a double bed had its own bathroom.

Stayed for 10h, perfect for an overnight. Victoria Square isn't the nicest area but only 1 min from the metro. Mind your head in the rooms, not a lot of room. Friendly staff and good price.

I had a very uncomplicated stay here. I slept here for one night and had no problems with checking-in or -out but didn’t get a key either. The six guys from my dorm room were very considerate so I had no huge problems to sleep there and skip the one extra night I was staying in Athens. Considering the price, it’s nothing more I could have asked for.

Very nice hostel, 10 minutes away on foot from Syntagma place. This is highly feasible to make your whole stay on foot. Our stay at the hostel was very nice. We arrived pretty late, but the staff were still up to let us in and show us around. Leaving our stuff at the hostel the entire day we checked out only cost an extra €4. This place isn't fancy (pretty obvious given the price) but it's a good place for budget travelers.

The bed and dormetry was good but the bathroom was way too small. Breakfast was good but the timings were a bit odd (9 to 11). There were some rules for the air-conditioning, they put it on only after 11 pm and wwitchbit off after 12 pm. The location is perfect, just in the middle of touristic center. All the sites are accessible from there.

Great stay in Plaka neighborhood. Night life is booming and location couldn't be better. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Showers were cramped but always had warm water. There is a nice terrace on the top level with great view and community.

Mr Christos, the owner and manager of the Hostel is a very helpful person providing advise for the Greece's better cities to visit in an affordable way. His Hostel has a very good location close to the Larissos Metro Station and the Train Terminal. It's a very clean place.

It is not much good hostel but if you want to save some money then it's a good choice to stay for 1 or 2 nights. The owner is a Sri Lankan family and they are really nice. But they don't have a 24 hrs reception.

Fine for 1 night, but nothing special. Shower is small and bed quite hard. Neighbourhood is quite sketchy, when the taxi driver dropped me off he told me to be careful. Also when I stood outside there were 2 homeless people coming out of the ruin across the street. I only stayed 1 night to continue my trip to a Greek island. Couple that owns it is very friendly though.

Super LAid back Hostel/Hotel. No Partying etc, very nice quiet Garden to read in the evening while sipping on a beer or cup of tea. Breakfast was pretty awesome. Good Quality Coffee, freshly baked criossants anda even had yogi tea.
