Nice hotel, and superb location in city center. Hotel is in need of major upgrades and renovations

If youre on the top floors with a suite, you get an AMAZING large LARGE balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Also some of the most friendly warm and extremely beautiful/attractive staff/guests as well

That’s what you are paying for. The locations, the ambiance, and the service. Generally, everything is as close to perfect as one can get

The officious gentleman with reading glasses who asks for your room number when entering the breakfast cafe near the pool is difficult. The first time we came, we were not yet guests, and he was rude

I can tell you the difference between the breakfast buffet at the Intercontinental hotels in Rome and Athens (sheeps milk yogurt vs honey in the comb) and quality is a hallmark of the experience

The desk staff was incredibly accommodating, the bellmen first rate, housekeeping perfect. When we encounter someone who isn’t personable it’s frankly jarring

The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

Business travellers will need a car or taxi service and can keep this in mind when comparing room prices with more centrally located hotels

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule

My original room was average, a bit dark and not my expectation from my booking, but upon contacting the reception to see if I was given the correct room category I was upgraded to a lovely suite ( category above my original booking) that was bright, roomy and very lovely

She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack

Excellent experience! Flight cancelled and sent to Devini Caravel. Gorgeous reception and beautiful room. Greek people so friendly and kind. View from the pool of Acropolis and St George church

The prime location was why I chose this hotel and also the mostly positive reviews. It's a 15-20 minute walking distance from all the important sites, ancient or modern

The elevator situation at times were painful as you could be waiting more than 5 minutes for a lift to come as they're always on the move. Overall, it was a good hotel with a very good location but lacked in areas

The elevators are busy in the morning as can be the breakfast bar at around 8 so get to there early!

Reasonably good hotel overall despite some old outlooks and slowness — your elevator in the peak morning hours can easily take 5 minutes to come

Location is perfect! The metro is right outside the hotel, which is very accessible! 4 stops to the acropolis, what more could you want?! Also top tip, there's a cafe just on the corner of the hotel which is actually part of the Stanley, it's the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was absolutely superb. We also did dinner each night at the sweet basil/cloud 9. It was delicious and the staff were some of the best

The room was a really decent size for a European city hotel! The bathroom was fine, some room for improvement in that area but perfectly adequate! The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was also very good! One would expect a more luxury feeling for this price point in terms of being modern and larger. The front lobby feels dated as well. Seems they have spent all their money on the rooftop

Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and full of choices, and the cleaning was spotless. Water prices in the minibar was crazy, but that's probably the same thing everywhere else

One of the best Hiltons I’ve stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a diamond member we were upgraded to an acropolis view. They provided complimentary bottled water throughout our stay

Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally across the street from a convenient metro stop (the hotel is on the airport metro line!)

Great quality hotel! So far it’s been a great experience. We flew in with a group of about 70 people for a tour with discovery tours. We showed up at the hotel, 10 minutes later, we were all checked in and in our rooms

This is clearly one of the best hotels in Athens, classy and with attention to detail. The beds are the usual Marriott top notch guarantee of good sleep, staff excellent, all facilities as you expect them

Great location. You may enjoy 2 different types of swimming pools. One normal and one with sea water. Catering is excellent, coffees, drinks etc. and the restaurant is right there also.

Hotel carpet was smelly around The rooms, maybe from smoking but I did not like that the most about this hotel. Breakfast bar was great, they have free slippers and things for you to use but it's not that luxurious

We spent 3 nights in Athens at the Wyndham. Reception was friendly, the hotel is clean with an excellent view of the Parthenon on the rooftop. The service at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was so delicious

Good position if you arrive late into the night at Piraeus port and you need a one night stay before your plane (check in available 24h). I don't know if it's located in a good position to reach the center

We found the food and beverage offerings to be outstanding from the food to the service it was top notch. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve had in Europe, seriously, it’s pretty incredible

Stelios behind the bar is exceptional and a proud representative of Greek hospitality with awesome knowledge on tourism and a pride in his work. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day (once each way per hour)

Arrived in late evening of November 25, had a confirmation of my overnight stay, they could not find my reservation

They eventually found my reservation, asked for a 3am wake up call for an early flight out of Athens Airport, only for receptionist to ring my room at 3:26 am, to inform my Suttle bus was due to leave at 3:30 am

Good location for a layover—if you plan to stay longer you’ll need a car or be prepared for taxis or public transportation. Only one food option around (within hotel) otherwise

Front desk was fantastic, hotel was clean and modern. Our room was a superior with a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. But just like most downtown locations the room was very small as was the space ship shower

I do not believe this property reflects a 4 star hotel by definition. It is located in a not so atheistically pleasing part of Athens so be careful walking around the neighborhood

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I wanted to call special attention to Costas! He was there almost every time we were in the lobby, and he made a point to remember us and greet us with familiarity, making the check in / check out process feel a lot smoother! I really appreciated him!!

Location: While the hotel is slightly removed from the city’s main attractions, it's only a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute metro ride to the lively parts of town. The Omonia metro station is conveniently close by

I would stay at this chain but I’m sure there’s far greater locations. The area surrounding the hotel has lots of homeless and druggies just lingering and sleeping in the streets

Location is ok, the metro is near, but it's not the best neighbourhood

Maybe a free breakfast or cup of coffee/tea? I appreciate that the rooms need cleaned, but I'm sure there were some people that left early. An early arrival room for weary travelers would be appreciated

I had the pleasure of staying at the Electra Palace Hotel in Athens for nearly a week, and I can’t recommend it enough! The hotel’s location is absolutely fantastic – both from my room and the rooftop restaurant, I had breathtaking views of the Acropolis, making every morning and evening unforgettable

This hotel has excellent location in the down town of Athens, close to all the shopping areas, historic places and restaurants. It has a beautiful roof top restaurant with views to Acropolis and very good quality food

Our room window was across the train station and we could barely hear the trains go by. Amenities were sufficient and the breakfast was really good

I stayed there with my boyfriend three days to quickly visit Athens before my next stop. I have to say the hotel is located in the city center near the central square and it’s pretty close to the city’s main attractions

This was my third stay at this hotel, although the start was a bit bumpy as the very nice jacuzzis at the rooftop were not activated at check-in, the manager immediately tried to find a solution and a short time later the jacuzzis were usable

The location is 15 mins walk to Plaka and a little but more to the Acropolis, unfortunately all Athens in general feels unsafe at night

As a compensation, because the jacuzzi was not yet active the day before, I was able to use it until the afternoon on the day of check-out, which was very friendly and attentive

Our room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience

The General Manager kept asking how I was and if everything was OK, which is not a given in a larger hotel and in a chain. I would be happy to come back a fourth time
