Location: 50 km from Heraklion airport, 30 km from the town of Rethymno, in the picturesque village of Bali, on the beach. Bus stop 1.5 km, on the main road. A supermarket and a pharmacy are located 50 m from the hotel.

I recently spent 6 days at the Bali Star Resort Hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, with our room always spotless and the common areas well-maintained.

The breakfast was a daily highlight, offering a delicious variety of fresh options that catered to all tastes. Whether you’re craving a light start or a hearty meal, they have you covered. The two on-site restaurants are exceptional, each providing a unique dining experience with mouthwatering dishes that left us wanting more. The bar was the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings, with expertly crafted cocktails and a relaxing atmosphere offering sushi as well.

What truly elevated our stay was the on-campus massage service. After a day of exploring, there was nothing better than indulging in a soothing massage, leaving us rejuvenated and relaxed.

Overall, Bali Star Resort Hotel exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! Five stars without a doubt! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bali Star saved us! Our flight to Heraklion was delayed. We got to our original hotel late. A staff between Bokking and that hotel - the hotel did not have our booking, even though we had the record. 10 pm I logged on, found a room at the Bali Star. We drove over. They were waiting for us, took our bags and guided us to the closed dining room where they served us a nice dinner. The staff were incredibly helpful. It is a lovely facility. Our room had a private pool.

Staying here was absolutely amazing. Got the private pool room, you basically could enjoy the sea from the comfort of your own place. The hosts were extremely attentive, we got extra coffee and they even packed breakfast to go because our flight made us leave at 3 a.m. Definitely a great experience!

2nd time visit. Location is convenient. It is close to the beach. Clean and staff is friendly. Spacious room and with swimming pool. Breakfast is good. Relaxing bar in the evening. Sunrise view is stunning.

Nothing compares to the view, the quality and everything this place offers. Amazing breakfast, a nice pool for adults and a small piece inside for kids, a restaurant and a bar. Clean rooms, superb staff. I will definitely pick this again for my next holidays

Good:
Our room with sea view was spacious and very nice, the a bit more expensive rooms are worth the money. We were glad we didn't book a room with shared pool, because we found out, those would lack a bit of privacy. We had a room in the floor above the pool rooms which was perfect. All staff is very welcoming and friendly, except the reception desk lady.

Bad:
We found and killed several cockroaches inside our room, 7 in total. The door-handle of the shower was almost entirely covered in rust. Coffee mugs had lipstick marks, when we arrived. We had an used tissue and an empty tube of lip-balm under our bed when we checked in. Both remained there, the whole week. We tipped generously for cleaning, but they don't seem to clean under beds... The room was dusty. The mattress was very worn and should be replaced.
The lady at the reception was gruff at the checkin, did not welcome us, didn't explain or ask anything and just ordered us to pay some tax in cash. The checkout was pretty similar, she didn't even ask if everything was good. Guess she hates her job pretty much.

Excellent hotel!!! We enjoyed there everything, very nice place with perfect location, only few steps to the beach and if you want to explore the Crete, just rent a car (hotel will help with that) and you can go in any direction.

Beautiful, well appointed resort. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The view of the beach was stunning. Breakfast was excellent with so many options. We would highly recommend.

We were here for 10 days as a couple. All together, a fantastic Hotel Experience, very warm and professional staff, great cocktails made by a talented and experienced bar tender, delicious authentic greek kitchen, big buffet for breakfast and dinner, comfortable beds, big rooms. Very relaxing vacation. Thanks so much for hosting us!
