Things that i would have liked to be different: i am a picky eater and sometimes it was hard to find something more basic to eat :) ; quality of non alchoolic drinks was not the best; the pool got overcrowded very quickly; bigger room, but not really a problem for us-to be taken into consideration for those with babies

(It was worse than the main restraunt) and they charge you for your drinks in the al a carte restaurant, if you want wine etc the bottle we had tasted just like lambrini wine (the best bargain wine you can get in British supermarkets)

We were a bit scared when choosing this hotel because we haven’t seen many reviews about it but we were glad we chose it in the end

The drinks were not very nice, the wine smelt funny and juice was watered down. Would definitely recommend going to Bali beach and doing the Santa Maria boat trip!!

Pro: great quality food, lots of activities in the hotel because they had people that were doing different games all day until late at night, great staff, very clean rooms, very close to the beach, not very far from Heraklion airport

There are nuances like no hair dryer in the room, but I am a spoiled child by Turkey hotels, which are just different, so probably for Europe 4 star they have all that is needed

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We found all of the staff to be very kind and helpful, fixing any issues we had quickly. Reception, restaurant, bar staff and cleaners were all very friendly

I recently spent 6 days at the Bali Star Resort Hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home

A special shout-out goes to the main chef and our waiter at the hotel restaurant—whose hospitality and warm attitude really made a difference in our experience

All inclusive is not such as you can have in 4* hotel in Egypt or so, but for 3* hotel if you have such buffet braekfast (cappucino or espresso is from machine means quite good), buffet lunch or dinner, you got more than usual 3*standard

only not good are alkoholic drinks, just beer is ok, but red wine taste is like fruite wine, white one is not good also (I am from wine county) and hard drinks are just local. At least wine could be upgraded

Fair 3 star hotel with all-inclusive option

Pros: centrally located between two nice beaches, easy parking; newly renovated rooms with Wi-Fi (we had Standard room); very tasty and fresh food, the variety of courses has definitely exceeded my 3-star expectations; well-motivated staff really try to serve guests at their best; rooms and all around are very clean

We lived in a building in Mykonos, a bit on a hill, so we enjoyed the sunrise from the sea and the mountains. The food is delicious, the assortment is varied, everything is included, the service is pleasant

During our stay, the pool area was extremely quiet but we might have got lucky with that! Good location for visiting two nearby beaches and lots of restaurants are close too

The hotel is up in the mountains above Bali which makes for a peaceful environment but think a car to get around was needed unless you want to do a lot of walking/use the minibus service to get to and from Bali

The manager stelios speaks excellent English and is very welcoming and helpful and was always going out of his way to help us when we asked. His son worked in the bar and restaurant and was equally kind and helpful

Pool was nice and no sun lounger fights! Used the partner hotel fillion for the gym and 3 additional pools which was a 10 min drive up the hill, imagine walking it would have been pretty strenuous but there was a minibus which I think you could use if you didn't have a car

On the beach, almost all the space is occupied by sun loungers, for which you have to pay. There are many sea urchins living in the rocks - I advise you to use shoes for swimming

All 7 days of our stay we’ve been served the same sort of things to eat with not a single hint for a variety. The evening meal was much better, with enough variety of fruit, vegetables and meats

This hotel is good enough for the money you spend. Its location is perfect for those who need a motive for walking. You’ll have a chance to have a 5 minute walk to the beach every day

There’s one thing I need to add is that the WiFi is available at the reception only, so it gets somewhat crowded in the evenings. The food is moderate, especially the breakfast

I have tried to change the room, but they would say everyday that have nothing else available. Moreover, they were resistant in accepting that something was not ok, apparently that's a standard for them

There are few very nice beaches around Bali village that’s why we recommend to rent a car as it is the best way to reach them or to move around the island

Stone Village is ideal for family and for romantic holidays. The staff is always available and smiling. A beach is at a walking distance from the hotel

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Nice sea view, everything what you need is near the hotel. The most beautiful and cute beach Mythos is in 80 metres, tavernas and cocktail bar are in 1 minute too

Rooms were fine furniture a little dated but OK. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels changed. The buffet breakfast was fine except for the coffee and juice which are terrible

It is not as much for the hotel but those who anticipate using public transport have to be aware of the fact that the nearest gateway to city (Bali Bus Station KTEL)via public transport is located circa 3km from the hotel and the only two ways to reach it is either the above mentioned train or by foot (35+ minute walk)

The hotel is located close to the beach and the view is amazing. The service was great, everyone was very kind and helpful. The room looked great and it was clean, the breakfast was tasty

The so called "sarcastic" bartender mentioned in other reviews was just a guy who liked to have a one and join guests by the bar challenging them in the drinking game, he might be seen as arogant, as his english skill was just the opposite to his drinking abilities, but he smoothly switches to german while wearing DDR (east german) and 2008 Euro german football national team's t-shirts

The location with a magnificent view may also be a con as its uphill location at the very end of the village (Bali) leaves only two options to those without a rental car: an uphill hike through the whole Bali resort or a E3 single- way ride by the hourly Little Train (or E5 per person two-way ticket)

We arrived late around 10pm and were given complimentary water bottle and two sandwiches as we have just missed dinner, the checkin was conducted by no other than the above mentioned guy and everything was smooth
