if you want a peaceful pint then it's perfect, the poolbar is open late so it's lovely sitting looking out to sea with a nightime drink listening to the waves, vicky and doxa at the bars are amazing cheerful and friendly and make your time there enjoyable, they are lovely ladies and I have never met nicer people, the beach is so beautiful and so easy getting in the sea for a swim as they have taken...

Very friendly, smiling, positive staff (although sometimes it seemed that they were hardly managing to do all duties, so dear managers and owners - please, value your people, they are great!!!), many options for relaxation for different ages and interests, great beach club for more active leisure (we tried skijets)

We returned to Candia park for a second time after our last trip in August. This time we had my in laws in tow so 6 of us overall, 2 children 6&10. Candia Park is beautiful and the staff are a credit to the hotel

The pools and beach were fantastic with plenty of space and we never struggled to get sun-beds. The pool bar was great and served the usual poolside food. Salads, pizzas toasted sandwiches

There was a different vibe in June than August as it was not the usual school holidays so the hotel was mainly occupied by families with pre school children this meant our children didn’t meet many children their own age

For a couple of days with the pool it's fine :)

Big studios with kitchen well equiped and bug enough bathroom. It is emplaced in aconvenient distance by Agios Nikolaos (3 km) and Elounda (10 min by car). There is a nice beach nearby at about 5-7 min walking

It has a beautiful view to the see and the personal is very friendly and kind

Micheal was a wonderful host and Maria an amazing housekeeper. They made us feel like home! They both deserve a 10. The appartement itself really needs renovation. Lot of stuff are outdated or even slightly broke/damaged

Also the beds to sleep in aren't comfortable. With the help of Maria we fixed that for a couple of days but everything can use a upgrade. If that will do by the owners than the appartements are perfect

Its an old building falling apart here and there. Found it to be clean, neat and cheap. Wish they would top up on the kitchen utensils, kettle enough plates etc

Friendly Staff . Great location, pool, access to the sea

George and family are very friendly and helpful. George showed me where an octopus was living near his pontoon with a little help from him to dive down to it

Have been to this apartment five or six times the rooms are very comfortable and love the swimming pool Yvonne and the staff are so nice you feel like family The pool side bar is good nothing too much trouble I love it here nice and relaxing deffo coming back next year

The pool area is really nice and sometimes we had the pool to ourselves. Good balcony area looking at the view, essential appliances available. We ate out every day so didn't really need much

Very relaxed apartments, private pool and view to die for

So chilled, staff available if you need anything but are non-interfering, which I liked as have stayed in a neighbouring apartment complex and found it quite overwhelming and cliquey, if you wanted to keep to yourself

Very cozy and family-friendly place, very quiet and very well located. Great rooms with wonderful views. Beach right in front, a tavern (Olga Tavern) across the road with an extraordinary view of the sunset

10 years going to Mirabella. Everything perfect from Erini in the bar to Yvonne in office.go head and shoulders to other places we have stayed in over 20 years in Havania. We love and miss you all.xxx

Hotel was very clean, bright and welcoming. We arrived late and Iwavva (Joanne) welcomed us like family. We loved our room a unit on the top floor with access to a shared pool

The staff are amazing and so friendly and the breakfast has a huge choice from fresh meat and cheese to yoghurt cereal and sausages and bacon

There's a lovely bar area by reception that leads straight out to the pool so you can grab a drink sit back and relax on one of the comfortable sun loungers

A very nice hotel situated overlooking the bay in agios Nikolaos. Rooms are light and airy with rooms cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels

We came for 2 nights in couple. It is a nice place, reserved for adults. Swimming pool is confortable and very quite, with some wind and a very beautiful view on the see! Lots of olive trees around the place

Cute hotel with great views in the breakfast area, and nice staff. Also, the view of the hill at the semi-private pools is beautiful. The cleaning was done thoroughly daily in our room

Great apartments with a nice pool, both of which are kept spotlessly clean. Our apartment had a lovely view of the sea and the surrounding hills

There are couple of good restaurants and a good bar nearby and it's only about a 20 minute walk to Agios Nikolaos. The owners, Katerina and Litsa, are always friendly and helpful

The suite was stunning with our own private pool which was a great size with patio area

Just back from a few days here, it was a great trip, before we arrived I reached out to the hotel as had a few questions, Matthew kindly answered them and was very helpful

Upon arrival we were shown to our suite, the hotel had gone above and beyond with providing champagne, chocolate cake and towel swans with fresh flowers laid out for us

The whole resort was great and clean, with towel available for sun beds. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone

There is a shop on site and also over the road which was handy, the only downside but nothing the resort can do about it is the transfer from airport took 2 hours which was long after a days travel

We stayed here following a 4 star holiday in Chania last year. Although the communal areas of the hotel are lovely, the pool areas and rooms need updating badly

Good choice for breakfast but evening buffet was disappointing. Pool areas were well laid out with comfortable sunbeds. However, the steps to the pool in the larger pool area, were dangerous

Breakfast was good and bar and restaurant staff efficient and friendly. The pool bar closes at 6pm and music goes off and shutters down which is a shame when people are enjoying an early drink

We were given double rooms in the detached block which were cleaned with fresh towels daily

2 lovely beach front restaurants 10 mins away at Amoudi Beach. Town about a further 20 mins. Had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return. So long as it remains adults only!!

Great location, clean throughout and staff are friendly. Our room was 206 in the main building. Lovely view and had everything we needed. Ate out every night in different location

The layout of this hotel, with the infinity pool overlooking the private beach and sunbathing areas make it really special, and very easy to make the most of all options! The sunbeds are really comfortable and we never had an issue getting one

This resort is absolutely magical! The views! The pools! The stellar service! We stayed in the Grand Animos Villa and it was absolutely perfect

The pool is massive and the privacy and unobstructed views meant that we rarely left the backyard. Plus, we had a private cove that offered direct access into the ocean

We especially enjoyed the sheltered cove for swimming and snorkelling. Children spent all of their time in the sea, rather than the pools as felt so safe in the sea. Loved the jetty bar for an after dinner drink

The swimming pools are also great, with one for sportive people different from the one for sun bathing people and some rooms with personal small pools

Fish were everywhere! The team was so helpful in planning catamaran trips as well as local excursions. And the resort food was so delicious. We are already missing that breakfast buffet! We cannot wait to return!

The hotel has a very clean swimming pool, available throughout the day. We occupied an apartment similar to a typical authentic Cretan maisonette, one that goes off the beaten track and retains its soul

Eliza Hotel, a wonderful setting for an authentic stay! We spent an unforgettable week at Hotel Eliza! Surrounded by a flowery and shady garden, of great beauty, each of the accommodations has its own terrace, privacy, seating and shade

Hotel Eliza is a wonderful find located on the edge of Agios Nicholaos. Small, but tidy and clean, beautiful garden, and quiet location offering a break from the hectic tourist world

Eliza and her father George made us so welcome that it was like staying at a private home. The rooms include a small kitchen well supplied to make a simple meal

I loved our room and our shared pool, however our room was left to the reception area and the pool bar- some nights music was extremely loud and guest were extremely loud (if I wanted party vacation I would go to Mallorca/Ibiza) A door that keeps some noise away from that corridor would be good

Very nice installations, amazing view, food service very bad. Wine and beverages undrinkable. Sushi very low quality. Swimmingpool very packed, no free seats. The gym needs a reform urgently.

Room for improvement Beautiful hotel, especially the main pool, the beach with the different plateaus for sun bathing and the walking path along the cliff

Our shared pool was great but unfortunately we had completely black/blue feet, either because the colour is coming off or because it was so dirty

The size of the hotel is perfect, not so many people and you feel that you have your space. It is an adult only hotel and very calm. The food (breakfast and dinner) is very nice (buffet)

Yet when I asked about it there was only a bottle of aftersun & a bottle of factor 6 oil left as the night time bar worker Suzanne decided she was taking the ones she could use home for her own personal use! Then made it an issue with other staff members and didn't return them when asked to

If you want traditional Greece this is it. Met so many people who have been coming here for years. Small pool and bar which was perfect for the small family run hotel

Extreamlly disappointed that this theft happened by staff as I then had to do the 20min walk into town so I didn't have to pay €20 for 1 bottle of factor 50 at closest supermarket. Staff should be alot more trustworthy

This was my second year at the Lato Hotel Arriving in the early hours of the morning, the night manager hugged me. It really did feel as if I had never left. I cannot add much more to last year's review really

Beautiful property! The pool was spectacular! The beach/seaside was perfect. Our room was small, but well appointed and very clean. It was ocean view from the patio, but mostly blocked by trees

Amazing room comfy bed and pillow, beautiful view from our balcony. We were given mugs, cutlery, coffee filters everything we needed. The pool was green and you was not able to swim in it. One cat and one dog!

Simple, clean accomodation, very reasonably priced. Nice little plunge pool is a bonus when hot. Good location for Amoudra Beach and the friendly owners also have an excellent taverna fairly nearby

It is a 10 minute steep walk downhill into town (which if you have mobility issues could be a problem). The beach is also down very steep steps. Not a problem if you're fit but be aware

Only downside the extra charge of €7/night for using A/C, which was not included on booking platforms. Good value for money overall (paid 30e/night)

Nice low budget basic hotel, 5' walk from downtown. Host was super friendly, Wi-Fi worked well although premises would require renovation

Well appointed apartment very close to the beach and fantastic eateries. Perfect for couples and older families. Small pool that didn't get too crowded or loud

We were given enthusiastic and passionate recommendations for cafes, restaurants and attractions for the area. We were even giving some parting gifts to take home. The whole experience felt like staying with a friend

We found parking easily on the street outside the apartment building. Fotini answered the buzzer herself and showed us to our apartment. It was spotlessly clean and newly renovated

e, salt, pepper, oil, washing powder, shower gell, etc. The fresh cakes, (one of which she’d made herself) were a particularly hospitable touch

The room was cleaned most days fresh bedding and linen every few days. We would highly recommend the accomodation. The hostess even left us a lovely message and small gift as we checked out perfect holiday

Wonderful stay! Not far from the city center, the pools are nice and the staffs are friendly. Breakfast was so good and they even have live musician playing for dinner

I’m not your normal busybody who leaves reviews for anything I am however exceptionally fussy and this by far is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in having visited many hundreds of hotels over the last 40 years the room the staff the food everything was superb and the location is fantastic

Amazing, would definitely recommend to others! Bus station is just ten minutes away from the hotel. Very easy to get here from Agios Nikolaos station. Loved every single second of my stay!

I like this hotel very much. Although it is far away from the core area, the scenery of the hotel is really good, and the hotel staff are very enthusiastic and the service is very good.

Lovely property with lovely stuff and wonderful facilities. The half board may be worth skipping as €100 goes a long way at the town centre just down the street.

We have double sea view room on the 7-th floor, over the pull and the bar, but it turns out that it can be quite noise at night. If you want more quite room you should mention your preference

A great place to rest for the second consecutive year, wonderful varied cuisine, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, close to two beaches: pebble and sand, salt water pool, near the pedestrian streets, the Bay of Mirabello is always relatively quiet

We booked for 7 nights in this hotel in Agios Nikolaos. The location is perfect by the sea coast, there is lovely blue flag beach right next to the hotel

So the view of empty sunbeds with towels on them was very frequent and because of that plenty of people had to sunbathe on the floor or in a normal chair

The only big problem with the pool and sun were the sunbeds - but I can only blame the people

Although reserving sunbeds was not allowed, some people brought their towels to reserve the beds, but did not come to the pool for another 1-3 hours
