First impression was wow ! The lobby is gorgeous and welcome drink is the best I’ve ever had

We had the most wonderful stay at Phaea Blue ,a truly beautiful hotel, impressive in every way, and absolutely spotless. What really made our trip special was the people

Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. We visited with our 5-month-old baby, and everyone was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring

The beach was stunning, the atmosphere relaxing, and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Check in was easy, I didn’t have to leave the couch, the check in lady came to me with an iPad and made the process very comfortable

A special mention to Konstantinos, the hotel manager, who personally checked in on us every single day

The breakfast buffet was good and all of the restaurants on property are great as well. The golf course provides a nice relaxing round with constant wonderful views of the bay

! We enjoyed our stays very much!! We were in the new building!! The rooms were big quited and very comfortable, the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected

Evening buffet even better, changed everyday with multiple choices plus multiple exceptional a la carte restaurants Italian il Borro, Japanese Sumosan, and the yacht club

No crowds, no queuing, no hassle polite friendly ‘family’ team , no worries only a chilled out paradise

Really was one of the best experiences of my life! I went there for my honeymoon and it was amazing!!! The staff are so kind and so friendly, from the first moment they make us feel very comfortable! The service was also the best! The room was very clean, comfortable and very quiet!! The best part was the view from our window

I appreciate that a good choice of local greek and crete specialities is available in addition to the usual things one gets everywhere. A range of dishes are freshly cooked all the time, some in live cooking

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, pretty garden, nice landscape, everything clean, delicious and varied food, very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, wide choice of TV channels

Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation

(Maybe other rooms are not, which may explain the varying comments in that regard. ) Enormous size bed, spacious balcony with comfortable furniture, good Wifi

I see this as a consequence of the spacious setting in a pretty landscape. 50 minutes walk to Elounda town center, no bus connection. All staff is very friendly and helpful

For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space

Really lovely venue and location. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful Could not have been better apart from the prices in the hotel for drinks and meals

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review

The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive, polite, helpful and professional. From the moment we arrived they could not do enought for us

So there is no rush to put your towel on a bed, so you can relax during your breakfast. We stayed B&B only, and boy the breakfasts are good. Great selection for all tastes and diets

The Hotel is lovely, although it is very quiet in the evenings, no entertainment at all, except a lady playing the piano in the restaurant every evening, although she is quite good,its not very stimilating

This is our third time at this Hotel, I have to say that last year the food was not that great, but this year with a new chef the food was so much better, and there was a good choice of food as well

As outlined in other reviews there are undoubtedly areas of the hotel which could be improved to make it perfect but our overall experience was very good

The staff as always were superb, with special thank you to the lovely lady who cleaned our room every day Joanna, Maria and George who served us at the Sale Bar, Frangisco our lovely beach man who looked after us so well every day putting our sun beds out, nothing was too much trouble for him and not forgetting Victoria on the Customer Relations desk, what we would have done without her, always so...

Similarly, the hotel staff are polite and approachable, but there’s an underlying sense of dissatisfaction in their working environment that subtly impacts the guest experience, creating a less-than-welcoming atmosphere

Greater thought and effort are needed to elevate the culinary offerings to match the expectations of a luxury stay. At the bar, while there’s a decent cocktail list, the execution is underwhelming

I will mention Maria, the front desk manager, as a person who made this vacation even better. She was super helpful and did her best to accommodate our requests while having a big smile on her face

Fantastic resort in the Olive groves, with spectacular views on to Spinalonga island! Exceptional service at all the restaurants. Really warm and helpful staff at the Haute Living, especially Lily & Eleni

The house-keeping staff were lovely. Highlight for us was the kids club, led by Eleni and her wonderful team! Our daughter ran in every day-the absolute best we’ve ever experienced!

Petros from the front desk did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome and comfortable when we checked in. All of the restaurants on the property were outstanding and served the freshest of foods

I had left my teeth retainer on a table after dinner and the incredible staff felt it in the napkin and saved it till I can back for it so incredible staff deserve so much tips! A couple little problems like a room switch up but got our room in the end and is amazing

Defo recommend going all inclusive as you get a free bar , snacks and lunch which is amazing and lovely bar staff

The nearest airport to Elounda is Heraklion airport and is 2 hour bus service! Overall I really enjoyed this holiday and would recommend it to loads of family’s 5 star hotel 🫶

This hotel is fantastic! Honestly amazing the view and the hotel is gorgeous and lovely town to go to

The shuttle bus runs at certain times you can find this out by looking at the board in reception although if it doesn’t suit you’re schedule a taxi can be called for you

The pools are very fun although I’d watch out if you have sensitive kids as the water is salt water and can be quite stingy and affective to kids with sensitive skin

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Locating and views impressive, service from the staff impeccable and food amazing

I can not rate this hotel highly enough. The location and view is stunning, the amenities excellent and the staff phenomenal

They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need

The service in this hotel is amazing! They take care of your needs. All our requests were accomplished fast. The cleanliness of the room was great. The gym is pretty well equipped

Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional

A well kitted out gym, pool, three restaurants, tennis court, and carts to transport you around. We’d love to stay again sometime

The restaurant was okay for some food and really good for some dishes. The Yacht club food was absolutely fabulous for me

I found the staff extremely helpful. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious

Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear

The restaurants that provide dinner are really good, but for the price you pay (at least 19€ and more for Pasta, around 150€ for Steak, everything else is between 30-50€) you shouldn't expect large portions

We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite

I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed

One of the best hotels I've ever been to, if not the best, especially if you value the astonishing design of the property as such - coloured marble bars, reception desk, artistic lamps - really beautiful place

The hotel is beautifully built and set in a great location overlooking the sea. The staff provide excellent service in a very friendly, courteous and polite manner. No is never an option with them

Everything is solved with a big smile (even though the masks hide it, you can "see" their eyes smiling). Highly recommended for recharging your batteries. Thank you Cayo team!! We will meet again

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

The perfect place to relax and feel Cretan hospitality. The hotel is amazing, they offer sea view and private pools for all rooms. The crew makes you feel as a guest and not as a customer

Super accommodating and very friendly staff. The facilities are really beautiful and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Food was really nice as well and we ate at the resort daily

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! We were warmly greeted with drinks and snacks upon arrival as well as a bottle of champagne in our room (as well as the traditional honey and nuts

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

Every little detail was thought of, down to a heart shaped door mat in front of our room. They also had a private breakfast delivered for us in our room the first morning

Excellent service, unique location. This is the utmost quiet place for those who need privacy. You get genuine attention from the hotel personnel. The lagune and the sea floor are excellent too

We ate at two of the restaurants (Il borro and Yacht Club) and had room service during our stay. The options were unlimited, but our favorite was Il Boro

Fabulous hotel, service first class, staff very accommodating, all in all hard to fault. Giorgios, Panos, Natalie, stavlous excellent, tbf staff that went above and beyond too many to name. Will return again for sure.

This very special villa/suite hotel is like a corner of paradise. We had a villa with its own infinity pool, it was luxurious and very private. The facilities are great, with a main pool and comfortable sun beds

The good Staff were all super friendly, breakfast was great with good variety and I always appreciate a breakfast with smoked/cured salmon and option to order a double espresso to start the morning

The beach club is perfect with a minibus on hand to take you to and from the hotel. However, what really makes this place special is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and are exceptional

Everything is provided for the comfort of guests. The views are spectacular and the grounds well kept and attractive. Don’t worry about the hill, golf buggies are on hand to run you around

Elounda itself is utterly charming with a range of shops and fabulous restaurants. It is walkable (about 30 mins downhill) but get one of the very smart Mercedes taxis back - 11 euros

The breakfast is incredible, from smoke salmon to fabulous fruit platters, a huge range of bread and pastries and plenty of hot options; even do it yourself mimosas

Also very close to the excellent bus service to be able to jump on and off buses to explore this BEAUTIFUL island!!! I cannot wait to go back!!!!!! Thank you for a fantastic stay, see you VERY soon!!!!

My Mother and I had a REALLY REALLY wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were soooo friendly and EXTREMELY kind. It is a family run hotel which has absolutely breathtaking stunning sea views

Centrally located in Elounda on the waters edge. Peaceful and my balcony overlooked Spinalonga. Clean and staff very friendly and welcoming

Very basic hotel . Breakfast limited. The location is great.. it's value for money and clean

The breakfast in the mornings was good with a good selection of hot and cold items. I stayed on a b&B basis but ate in the Blue Sea restaurant on two evenings. The food was delicious and well priced

We stayed here again as last year was amazing. It’s bed and breakfast and the breakfasts are excellent

Stayed at the Aki for 12 nights, enjoyed the whole experience, staff friendly and helpful 👍 buffet breakfast good loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and selection of pastries

The rooms are lovely and spacious, superior rooms have a much bigger balcony. There is a restaurant in site which is nice and roof top cocktail bar is superb. Spiros the bar tender is such a pro

He makes the best cocktails and is so helpful, he runs the bar so well and is chatty and friendly

When we arrived we were shown tp our room which was like a broom cupboard with no view from yhe balcony, but how lucky the had a better room they could. offer us at an additional €40 per night, very convenient

the pool itself needs a good clean - there's a green around the water beds. On a plus note - Nico the barman is a sweetheart - always smiling and helpful. This hotel needs some money spent on it's maintenance

The pool does get busy but we were always able to find somewhere to sit. Breakfast had plenty of choices, hot and cold, with a very friendly chef who enjoyed explaining what traditional dishes were available

We have just returned from a 10 day trip to the Elounda Orama and had a fabulous time. Our room was great, comfortable bed, great shower and very clean. The aircon was perfect after a warm day out and about

We took trips on the bus to Plaka and Agios Nikolai, both worth a visit as well as little train ride into the mountains with amazing views

Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. We were able to find out about buses etc we could get to nearby areas

The hotel is two minutes walk from the waterfront which is full of great restaurants at reasonable prices

Our room was a small suite and had 3 balconies. We made reservations on short notice. Breakfast was nice and the views were good

Hotel has two decent pools Rooms a little outdated. No bug mesh on any of the windows so had a a couple of bugs in the room. Needs some small improvements but good for a couple of nights

Good hotel with nice views of the ocean. Hotel is in a quiet location between Elounda and Plaka. Good shower with lots of pressure. Breakfast was nice with lots of options
