Best Hotels in Elounda

This was my fifth visit to the Blue Palace and my first under the new regime - Phaea. The service was over the top incredible. The concierge is perhaps the best and most responsive team I’ve ever dealt with

We didn't know the previous version of this hotel to compare to but we loved the "new" version, with all the thoughtful gestures towards sustainability and efforts to integrate with Cretan culture & foods, etc - whilst still maintaining the quality and personalised service you expect from a 5-star place

Yes, it's a smaller "boutique" property and OK, it hasn't got 18 restaurants and 6 pools and golf course and helipad and watersports centre with giant slide - blah-blah-blah - but that doesn't mean that the experience is any less luxurious

We made a daytrip to the Omalos Plateau & Diktamos (Zeus) cave one day and climbed to the top of the mountains (high enough that everything was covered in a freezing mist!) and were back in time for a lovely dinner in the main restaurant

The location is sublime with the views to Spinalonga Island; sunset dinners at the Blue Door Taverna on the beach are just magical and lots of local attractions are within easy driving or boating distance

If anything, the smaller size means you feel like the staff really treat you as individuals (even friends!) rather than just another dollar sign with a room number attached

The architecture and decoration of the spa is stunning! The food was also of very good quality (we tried few salads and pasta dishes). Without doubt the best spa I have ever visited! Thank you all so much!

The service is superb and people are warm and friendly. The location including the beach are pristine. Rooms are modern and well maintained. Bathrooms are proper and state of the art Not cheap but worth every penny

Amazing Spa facilities with great view! The Spa personnel and manager are very friendly and professional. The treatments I did were absolutely incredible. The environment is relaxing and inspiring

Whatever I write about the hotel and its people is not enough. They just want to make everything so easy for you, with unpretentious kindness, which is the definition of a holiday and relaxation

! We enjoyed our stays very much!! We were in the new building!! The rooms were big quited and very comfortable, the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the rooms were immaculate with stunning views. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool and spa

We were also very lucky with the weather only having one day with cloud but probably regularly this way due to the island position. Very relaxing stay, quiet and peaceful

I had a wonderful stay at Tui Blue Elounda Village Resort & Spa by AQUILA. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

The resort's mini market is a good place for shopping with a various selection and prices that are lower than in the duty free

Every detail, from the delicious breakfast to the personalized service, made our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return—highly recommend!

The bathroom was clean but is in need of updating. Shower was leaky and hard stepping in and out of bath tub. We really like live music and for us a highlight was a Greek duo who played classical guitar and qanun

Gorgeous hotel with well appointed views and wonderful facilities. The restaurants are varied and serve a great mix of specialities, and the staff is excellent. A little bit of paradise!

Great hotel in a great location-clean, cozy, nice, quiet. Courteous staff in all services, good Breakfast with champagne. Prices are high and the rooms and restaurants

Everything was perfect The price is big, but totally worth it. The renovated rooms are really pricey but totally worth it , if you stay in the renovated rooms you can go to this really nice beach (there are two beaches)

Serene, extravaganza, calmness and tranquility of the place will mesmerize you and keep you nostalgic after you leave. This resort is located on northeast coast of Crete island

Luxury accommodation with private pools and a very hood beach. Good service and good environment, but not lively place

The hotel is very good and the service excellent. It's located in a lovely bay and the sea swimming is excellent. The food is good and there is a good choice alongside varied menus

We moved rooms - the sea view room we were supposed to have was obscured by palm trees - and the staff were excellent in finding an alternative - which was lovely

There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro

Perfect for families and couples. From getting us at each meal go ask which table we prefer, to towel and drinks service on the beach, to the clean rooms

Everything you would expect from a 5star hotel. The staff were very attentive and polite, the rooms were clean and modern with stunning views all around

This complex is very big however getting around to the different restaurants and bars was easy on the buggy’s. The spa facilities were 10/10 with a wide choice of treatments

Loads of restaurants to chose from although we used the buffet restaurant the most which serves really good quality food. Service is fantastic in all respects. Highly recommended for a one week stay or longer with kids

We had a lovely stay of 10 nights at this hotel. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We would not hesitate to come back here

Whilst high traffic areas such as the hotel reception are hard to keep pristine, we did note that certain parts of our family room caused some black feet and knees! I'm not sure if cleaning staff regularly mop the floors or just do a light dusting - but more could be done here to improve the cleanliness of the floors

The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering all the amenities I could possibly need. The hotel’s location is ideal, making it easy to explore the surrounding area

The golf buggies are a great touch and ensure guests can be at their destination in no time. However the waiting times from the family pool area back to the main resort can be long

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Domes of Elounda. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of

Very cool, there is a pool, games are played for both children and adults) The food is just waste, but different nutrition conditions are different for different bracelets (. I only stayed positive, I recommend.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with a sea and mountain view. The food was delicious with plenty of choice and our 2 year old son loved playing in the pools

All the staff of the Residence were very attentive & hard working making sure everything was to be the very best it could be. The pools, bars, restaurants, animation team were great

Elounda cannot be called cheap, souvenirs and especially clothes are very expensive, but the restaurants are surprisingly cheap and cook excellently

Just returned from the Beautiful Island of Crete, having enjoyed the beautiful weather & the hospitality awarded by the locals to our Family, Grand Children & Us Oldies! We stayed in the Elounda Water Park Residence and this place certainly was the "glue" which pulled everything together we expected from the island and truly made the holiday the relaxing experience we hoped

Arriving in the dark, we were amazed at the Stunning views from our rooms in the morning - we never tired of that view. The rooms we were given were 1st rate, very clean & modern. Cleaned daily to the highest standards

I can not rate this hotel highly enough. The location and view is stunning, the amenities excellent and the staff phenomenal

From room you can have a beautiful view of the sea, you can see the sunrise, you can see the mountains. Room setting is also very cute, daily cleaning. The workers are also very nice and friendly

They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need

The service in this hotel is amazing! They take care of your needs. All our requests were accomplished fast. The cleanliness of the room was great. The gym is pretty well equipped

Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional

The restaurant was okay for some food and really good for some dishes. The Yacht club food was absolutely fabulous for me

I found the staff extremely helpful. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious

Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear

We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite

A resort hotel that has managed to bag one of the best spots. Fantastic views over Mirabello Bay, lovely little sandy beach and rocky promontory with more than enough loungers to go round

One of the best hotels I've ever been to, if not the best, especially if you value the astonishing design of the property as such - coloured marble bars, reception desk, artistic lamps - really beautiful place

The hotel is beautifully built and set in a great location overlooking the sea. The staff provide excellent service in a very friendly, courteous and polite manner. No is never an option with them

Everything is solved with a big smile (even though the masks hide it, you can "see" their eyes smiling). Highly recommended for recharging your batteries. Thank you Cayo team!! We will meet again

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

The perfect place to relax and feel Cretan hospitality. The hotel is amazing, they offer sea view and private pools for all rooms. The crew makes you feel as a guest and not as a customer

Super accommodating and very friendly staff. The facilities are really beautiful and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Food was really nice as well and we ate at the resort daily

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! We were warmly greeted with drinks and snacks upon arrival as well as a bottle of champagne in our room (as well as the traditional honey and nuts

The staff there was so accommodating (especially our waiter, who is hospitality at the nearby university!) We also frequented the beach bar quite a bit and Andreas was awesome! The breakfast offerings on the property were also amazing… several traditional Cretan dishes

A great hotel in a perfect location on the east side of Crete. Ideal for couples or families. It has its own private sandy beach with crystal clear water. The service is amazing and the staff impeccable

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

Fabulous hotel, service first class, staff very accommodating, all in all hard to fault. Giorgios, Panos, Natalie, stavlous excellent, tbf staff that went above and beyond too many to name. Will return again for sure.

Modern takes on Greek classics from an exceptional chef and plenty of choice for the youngsters too. Awesome wine list, mostly Greek (which was great to see) with advice given by a wonderful sommelier

Elounda Gulf Villas is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed in all of our visits to Greece and its Islands. 6 of us (3 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9 year old) had the pleasure of staying in one of their pool villas

Excellent staff, service, views, food and villa. We booked the Royal Villa and we did feel like royalty. Very relaxing and the room and buggy service was excellent

We stayed in the Samos villa for our honeymoon and the views were breathtaking. We had a private pool and massage room. Maria at the front desk is so sweet and the staff is amazing. We can’t wait to come back one day!

Great hotel and staff. Stayed 12 nights. Great views and right across from beach. Has own decent size pool on 4th floor. Rooms air conditioned, not a lot of storage but my wife and I managed to unpack most things.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, which made our stay enjoyable

Our room was a bit on the small side, but it was comfortable enough. The air conditioning worked well, although it could have used a brushing

All of the hotel staff and management are really helpful and friendly, and try their best to ensure you have a good time. A few small niggles, you have to be early when showering, to get hot water

Hotel has two decent pools Rooms a little outdated. No bug mesh on any of the windows so had a a couple of bugs in the room. Needs some small improvements but good for a couple of nights

Good hotel with nice views of the ocean. Hotel is in a quiet location between Elounda and Plaka. Good shower with lots of pressure. Breakfast was nice with lots of options

My Mother and I had a REALLY REALLY wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were soooo friendly and EXTREMELY kind. It is a family run hotel which has absolutely breathtaking stunning sea views

Centrally located in Elounda on the waters edge. Peaceful and my balcony overlooked Spinalonga. Clean and staff very friendly and welcoming

Kitchen and restaurant seems a little busy and the food is average. Nothing spectacular to celebrate or criticise. 2 out the 3 nights was 7/10 and one night was a 5/10 for the dinner. The breakfast was a 6/10 all days

Car park is behind the hotel at Elounda heights, steep hill to drive so be ready for the challenge. The elevators are small but it works. There are a lot of stairs if you live the exercise
