The pools in the room could use an update as well. I think those are carried over from the Marriott days. Can’t wait to return next summer

Yes, it's a smaller "boutique" property and OK, it hasn't got 18 restaurants and 6 pools and golf course and helipad and watersports centre with giant slide - blah-blah-blah - but that doesn't mean that the experience is any less luxurious

We didn't know the previous version of this hotel to compare to but we loved the "new" version, with all the thoughtful gestures towards sustainability and efforts to integrate with Cretan culture & foods, etc - whilst still maintaining the quality and personalised service you expect from a 5-star place

We made a daytrip to the Omalos Plateau & Diktamos (Zeus) cave one day and climbed to the top of the mountains (high enough that everything was covered in a freezing mist!) and were back in time for a lovely dinner in the main restaurant

The location is sublime with the views to Spinalonga Island; sunset dinners at the Blue Door Taverna on the beach are just magical and lots of local attractions are within easy driving or boating distance

If anything, the smaller size means you feel like the staff really treat you as individuals (even friends!) rather than just another dollar sign with a room number attached

A magnificent location with excellent service. The hotel staff is very courteous and serviced. A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is highly recommended to take a room with a private pool

the staff was very friendly! the privet pool had very cold water colder then the sea, with salty seawater, the restaurants prices were high with a bit of a pretentious vibe

We had a great stay in hotel porto elounda golf

! We enjoyed our stays very much!! We were in the new building!! The rooms were big quited and very comfortable, the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected

the hotel privet beach was clean, with a nice bar offering food

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the rooms were immaculate with stunning views. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool and spa

We were also very lucky with the weather only having one day with cloud but probably regularly this way due to the island position. Very relaxing stay, quiet and peaceful

I had a wonderful stay at Tui Blue Elounda Village Resort & Spa by AQUILA. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

The beach access and pool area were fantastic, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

What a beautiful hotel! Adults only, perfect to rest and for fun, activities, pools, great food, especially the buffet. The only thing I thought can be improved is that the sea can be a little bit more clean

Luxury accommodation with private pools and a very hood beach. Good service and good environment, but not lively place

Serene, extravaganza, calmness and tranquility of the place will mesmerize you and keep you nostalgic after you leave. This resort is located on northeast coast of Crete island

Everything was perfect The price is big, but totally worth it. The renovated rooms are really pricey but totally worth it , if you stay in the renovated rooms you can go to this really nice beach (there are two beaches)

Very cozy place! The rooms are spacious with huge balconies (there is a place for sun beds and table with chairs). Gorgeous views of the surrounding nature. Interior design at the highest level

Knowing about Greek culture, the behaviour of the staff, their service with love and the food here are to die for. I still remember the Choriatiki which is a must try with almost every meal

There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro

Perfect for families and couples. From getting us at each meal go ask which table we prefer, to towel and drinks service on the beach, to the clean rooms

Everything you would expect from a 5star hotel. The staff were very attentive and polite, the rooms were clean and modern with stunning views all around

The downside is that despite being five star the dreaded 'hog a sunbed' happens - with people grabbing sunbeds as early as 6am - including from some in the swim up rooms who had sunbeds by their rooms

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful green surroundings, a nice sandy beach for kids, clear sea, very varied food for breakfast and dinner, and friendly, welcoming staff

Whilst high traffic areas such as the hotel reception are hard to keep pristine, we did note that certain parts of our family room caused some black feet and knees! I'm not sure if cleaning staff regularly mop the floors or just do a light dusting - but more could be done here to improve the cleanliness of the floors

The golf buggies are a great touch and ensure guests can be at their destination in no time. However the waiting times from the family pool area back to the main resort can be long

We had a lovely stay of 10 nights at this hotel. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We would not hesitate to come back here

Especially as the pot was topped up with milk throughout the course of breakfast - this often led to cold and overly milky porridge. A real shame for us porridge lovers! 2

We often decided to walk it back instead of waiting and whilst I was happy enough to get some much needed exercise, this would be a concern for anyone less able to do so

Porridge at breakfast would often be cold - I do not think the electric hob where the cast iron pot was placed was hot enough to maintain a desired temperature

Very cool, there is a pool, games are played for both children and adults) The food is just waste, but different nutrition conditions are different for different bracelets (. I only stayed positive, I recommend.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with a sea and mountain view. The food was delicious with plenty of choice and our 2 year old son loved playing in the pools

All the staff of the Residence were very attentive & hard working making sure everything was to be the very best it could be. The pools, bars, restaurants, animation team were great

We really liked the lady in the shop (unfortunately, I don't know her name), she is always kind and smiling. My kids really enjoyed the slides and pools

Just returned from the Beautiful Island of Crete, having enjoyed the beautiful weather & the hospitality awarded by the locals to our Family, Grand Children & Us Oldies! We stayed in the Elounda Water Park Residence and this place certainly was the "glue" which pulled everything together we expected from the island and truly made the holiday the relaxing experience we hoped

Arriving in the dark, we were amazed at the Stunning views from our rooms in the morning - we never tired of that view. The rooms we were given were 1st rate, very clean & modern. Cleaned daily to the highest standards

A well kitted out gym, pool, three restaurants, tennis court, and carts to transport you around. We’d love to stay again sometime

The hotel is very beautiful, the hotel has its own swimming pool. And some rooms have their own private swimming pool

From room you can have a beautiful view of the sea, you can see the sunrise, you can see the mountains. Room setting is also very cute, daily cleaning. The workers are also very nice and friendly

They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need

The service in this hotel is amazing! They take care of your needs. All our requests were accomplished fast. The cleanliness of the room was great. The gym is pretty well equipped

Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional

I found the staff extremely helpful. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious

We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite

I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed

Some of our party were upgraded to a modern villa and its bathrooms and infinity pool would compete with anywhere

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

Our lovely pool was dirty and had not been cleaned before our arrival. A large piece of trash and other dirt was floating on it. You only get 4 bottles of water daily, each about 16 oz

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! A superb hotel, from the Elounda collection of Maré, Porto and Peninsula. Manolis, the manager and his super friendly team always make us feel great, on arrival and while we stay

Every little detail was thought of, down to a heart shaped door mat in front of our room. They also had a private breakfast delivered for us in our room the first morning

Surrounded by these bodies of water, they have their own private sandy beach where you can swim, snorkel, relax and just watch the world go by. Sun loungers, umbrellas and towels are provided

Modern takes on Greek classics from an exceptional chef and plenty of choice for the youngsters too. Awesome wine list, mostly Greek (which was great to see) with advice given by a wonderful sommelier

We loved our family villa! Much better than the pictures. Cozy and modern furniture. Very friendly service and wonderful restaurant.

Communal pool was fantastic and not crowded at all, as was the private beach owned by the resort (4K away but a reliable shuttle service provided by the resort for free) where they had good food options and drinks

We stayed in the Samos villa for our honeymoon and the views were breathtaking. We had a private pool and massage room. Maria at the front desk is so sweet and the staff is amazing. We can’t wait to come back one day!

We got a two-bedroom deluxe villa with our own swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. But the unit felt old; we are guessing it was built 30 or so years ago and has not been updated

Amazing hotel and it is very family oriented, the staff were exceptional ( Georgia, Ismail from the hotel , TUI staff ( Louis and Stasha ), plenty of pools and very excellent water slides, the food was delicious and the main restaurant location and view is awesome

What a fabulous week we've had. Just using the free courtesy room to freshen up before the coach trip to the airport then back to the UK. Great food. Great refreshments. Great pools. Amazing staff. I can't fault it.

Breakfast buffet is really good. There is always meat, which are gaining as you want, and not as the Turks under the painting. There is practically no beach but has a pool

There are two lovely pools, fresh food and drink at both sites and happy staff to encourage sport activity in the day. The restaurant is fully stocked with beautiful food and fruit

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

A great sunrise in the morning and beautiful views of the mountains across Mirabello Bay. The food tasted amazing, handmade and fresh. The chef at this hotel makes a wide range of delicious meals

The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Albert, who seemed to be doing a range of roles from helping with baggage on arrival to waiting on food ect, a really helpful member of the team

He also had some great card tricks and helped us out with knowledge of the local area and recommended some places to visit

I'd also recommend visiting the vibrant local town of Agios Nikolaos for a great trip out. Overall we'd visit here again as we left feeling super relaxed and content with our stay

Great hotel and staff. Stayed 12 nights. Great views and right across from beach. Has own decent size pool on 4th floor. Rooms air conditioned, not a lot of storage but my wife and I managed to unpack most things.

The amenities were excellent— we especially enjoyed the pool, sky bar, and the on-site restaurant. Breakfast was above average with a nice selection, though it tended to repeat a lot

, all the lounges were already reserved with towels, yet many people didn’t actually return until around 10 a. This made it frustrating to find a spot to relax

The pool was well designed but with a weird green color when I was there. It is like swimming in a lake. Has a kids area and lots of sun beds. Reception and bar Staff are super friendly

Kitchen and restaurant seems a little busy and the food is average. Nothing spectacular to celebrate or criticise. 2 out the 3 nights was 7/10 and one night was a 5/10 for the dinner. The breakfast was a 6/10 all days

Car park is behind the hotel at Elounda heights, steep hill to drive so be ready for the challenge. The elevators are small but it works. There are a lot of stairs if you live the exercise

Breakfast is good and relaxed. Great views from pool and most rooms. Thoroughly recommend it for a relaxed and pampered holiday

Nice, quiet hotel with a wonderful bar and pool. Food is quite mediocre, so go with breakfast only. You'll need a rental car as well, remote location. Excellent service and spotless, no fringes rooms

Honestly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve made so far. Great service and even greater relaxation guaranteed! Authentic greek, nice-to-look-at architecture meets the kindest staff you could only imagine

Had no problem when requested a change of room. Next morning offered a choice of two rooms. Poolside bar service is superb. Easy 20 minute walk into Elounda and 6 Euro taxi ride back if you don't fancy the walk
