Prior to booking, we reached out with our concerns about construction and were told construction would not take place during the summer season. When we arrived, we were disappointed to see that was not the case

We had the most magical stay at Phaea Blue – it truly felt like a dream! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so warmly welcomed, and every detail of the resort was just perfect

The unkempt children’s playground with weeds growing don’t really fit the boutique hotel claim. Positives The restaurant is high quality. The staff and customer service were the best thing about our stay

Evening buffet even better, changed everyday with multiple choices plus multiple exceptional a la carte restaurants Italian il Borro, Japanese Sumosan, and the yacht club

The breakfast buffet was good and all of the restaurants on property are great as well. The golf course provides a nice relaxing round with constant wonderful views of the bay

Excellent service, excellent accommodation,excellent food. Wonderfull views, spacious room large pool and private beach with all the water sports required

The beach is also beautiful, clear water and water sports too. The pool area was very busy, especially full of children

No crowds, no queuing, no hassle polite friendly ‘family’ team , no worries only a chilled out paradise

! We enjoyed our stays very much!! We were in the new building!! The rooms were big quited and very comfortable, the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected

For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space

Really lovely venue and location. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful Could not have been better apart from the prices in the hotel for drinks and meals

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review

The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive, polite, helpful and professional. From the moment we arrived they could not do enought for us

There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day. Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day

We found a good variety of buffet style hot & cold food for both breakfast & dinner with continual replenishment. Ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday with excellent service

As outlined in other reviews there are undoubtedly areas of the hotel which could be improved to make it perfect but our overall experience was very good

We were also very surprised that the Climate Resilience tax has gone up from 10 Euros last year to 15 Euros this year per room per night, we were there for 12 nights, so we had to pay a further 180 euros, this is much higher that other European countries

Also all the staff in every area of the hotel and in particular Nikos who arranged a room change for us and Kostas in the restaurant made a difference with their friendly helpful customer orientated service

I don’t eat Pork or red meat, so last year this was a problem for me, so we had to eat out most of the time, but this year there was plenty of lovely fresh fish, including sea bass and choice of chicken dishes

My only crititsim being, it is a buffet restaurant, parents where allowing children to handle food on the buffet table, if they changed their minds or starting creating a scene the food was put back on the table

Fantastic resort in the Olive groves, with spectacular views on to Spinalonga island! Exceptional service at all the restaurants. Really warm and helpful staff at the Haute Living, especially Lily & Eleni

If you visit Crete, Domes of Elounda is a “must stay”! From arrival to departure we were so impressed with this resort. The facility is beautiful and the accommodations were spacious and welcoming

The house-keeping staff were lovely. Highlight for us was the kids club, led by Eleni and her wonderful team! Our daughter ran in every day-the absolute best we’ve ever experienced!

29 years ago we honeymooned here. Time passed and we finally found our way back. It has only become better one better. Our room had a private pool with stunning views

The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere

And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable

She accommodated any requests with a genuine caring attitude. Hotel has several restaurant options if you don’t want to leave and explore the island. Highly recommend the Italian a Japanese restaurants

This was our final island on our trip so we were content to stay on the resort and not explore the island. If you want to see more of Crete, definitely rent a car bc the island is huge

Kelari, the à la carte restaurant, was by far the best dining experience – superb food, though the €20 half-board allowance doesn’t go far. The evening buffet was €45 per person, per night if we hadn’t booked half board

The staff so friendly and welcoming and not intrusive. Our room was amazing and watching sunrise was incredible. I had the BEST head, neck, shoulder and back massage with Eleni, she has magical fingers!!! Thank you ☺️

Well, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. It's my 2nd time to visit this year, first time with my husband and kids and second time with my mum and we were welcomed back like family

The views from this beautiful hotel are only matched by the warmth of the staff. Don't be fooled by the calm, laid-back atmosphere. This hotel runs like clockwork

The downside was being directly above the main hotel air-con units, meaning constant low level background noise on the balcony (but not in the room itself)– rooms 106-109 (and those directly above) are best avoided

5 yr old daughter, we was the one family on the train, definitely don’t book the 4hr one if you have kids it’s not child friendly really and they stop for lunch at a small restaurant up in the mountain with limited menu, great views over the bay for pictures and abit of history

We arrived to one bottle of water in the fridge and didn’t seem to get anymore so we had to buy our own from the on site shop, we got quite a few bits from here so it’s handy

We brought our firestick and internet was good no issues with streaming socket below the tv so no need for an extension lead, in our room anyway. Done the 4hr train ride with our 2

Drinks were not great imo cocktails weren’t the best, the beer was okay though but we aren’t big drinkers anyway. Drinks at the amphitheatre again not great

Overall had a great holiday would I return, probably not as there is many different options and the hotel didn’t have a lasting impression on us

Was meant to go the other Al carte but forgot to book it 🤦🏼‍♂️ not open on a Sunday so we missed out as eat out over that weekend

The pool does get busy but we were always able to find somewhere to sit. Breakfast had plenty of choices, hot and cold, with a very friendly chef who enjoyed explaining what traditional dishes were available

We took trips on the bus to Plaka and Agios Nikolai, both worth a visit as well as little train ride into the mountains with amazing views

The hotel is two minutes walk from the waterfront which is full of great restaurants at reasonable prices

The hotel is divided into 4 blocks, so is a little confusing at the beginning, as you need to go in 3 separate lifts to get to the top block, or climb a lot of steps! We were in block C, room 3303, but were rewarded with amazing views of Mirabello Bay and the island of Spinalonga from our sea view balcony

Buffet breakfast was enjoyed with lovely views, in the Mirabello restaurant. Lots of hot and cold options including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meat, cheese, salad, pastries and eggs etc something for everyone

The barman, Nikos, was a friendly chap and always had a smile. Some of the items on the drinks menu weren't available, which was a little disappointing, but we found other options

Beautiful hotel set in beautiful grounds. Relaxing environment, room size excellent. Fabulous breakfast included in the stay. All food was excellent and good value. Highly recommend

The amount of palm was like an oasis after being in busy Istanbul. The food and dining there is phenomenal. There is a lovely pool and comfortable pool chairs to relax in

We had a wonderfully relaxing 8 nights at Elounda Palm. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are spotlessly clean

Our stay was amazing, highly recommend for families too. The room was great, modern and clean, the facilities are great, the swimming pool it’s very nice. The staff is nice and always available and helpful

I had a look at the spa and it looked wonderful, with a pool, jacuzzi, couples treatments and steam/sauna

From the moment we arrived we felt the 'WOW' factor. The welcome drink with that incredible view was wonderful. We were then swiftly taken to our villa by golf buggy and met with two wonderful ladies who showed us around

We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable! The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty

Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring

The bed was super comfy and there was AC and ceiling fans in every room. I was a little apprehensive before going as I knew the resort was very large and built on either sides of a hill

Elounda is beautiful and we walked to the lovely little village of Plaka and got on a boat over to Spinalonga - a total must see. Only an hour from Heraklion airport, a pleasant drive

I appreciate that a good choice of local greek and crete specialities is available in addition to the usual things one gets everywhere. A range of dishes are freshly cooked all the time, some in live cooking

To be honest, this hotel has a room for improvement. I will rate it 4 with a half stars. But our stay was a good one: good variety of food, including fish for dinners within half board stay, cava for a breakfast

I see this as a consequence of the spacious setting in a pretty landscape. 50 minutes walk to Elounda town center, no bus connection. All staff is very friendly and helpful

While this is attractive regarding setting and views, it might be unsuitable for persons with reduced mobility. The hotel is in quite some distance from the next town

Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation

(Maybe other rooms are not, which may explain the varying comments in that regard. ) Enormous size bed, spacious balcony with comfortable furniture, good Wifi

2 restaurants at prices no more expensive restaurants in Elounda, but surpass the level of service significantly. Very tasty rolls at the sushi bar

A Perfect Stay I spent 12 days in a Deluxe room at the Royal Marmin Boutique Hotel and everything was simply flawless

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and we enjoyed the spa and the private beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always kind and very helpful

I have absolutely nothing to complain about, this was a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-level comfort, beauty, and hospitality

A few small disappointments: the welcome drink was just water, the internal shuttle service was slow, and coffee capsules in the room came with an extra charge — which felt unnecessary for a hotel of this standard

During my stay, I also used the spacious and well-equipped gym, which was a great bonus and added to the overall comfort of the experience

Great hotel! Aquapark + great views. But you definitely need to rent a car, it's a long way to the sea. All the pools are with sea water, so many people don't go to the sea

View from the room is so beautiful. Rooms are clean with everythinh what You need. People who work here are helpful and always happy

Don't even get me started on the view! They even have a little waterpark just for the kids! We had an amazing time there and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect vacation! Also, Giorgio and his crew are amazing

We got one of the new rooms and it was really nice, it was close to the restaurant/pool and had a beautiful view of the sea. Getting to the restaurant is just a short walk what makes for a pleasant morning stretch

My family and I (17 of us) stayed here from 16th -23rd august and we had the most amazing holiday. We were initially quite nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay

The photos were quite limited, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect, but the space and layout were far beyond what we imagined. We arrived late, and the staff were kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating

The children’s pool is gently heated and perfect for little ones, and there was plenty to do around the grounds. We didn’t end up using the creche much because we were happy just spending time together on site

It really stood out how every staff member was willing to help, not just the one assigned to our table. They were also so lovely to our son, which made mornings even better. The resort is very family friendly

The view from our room was amazing too, and waking up to the sound of the water was unforgettable. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. The team there deserves a special mention

They were warm, attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Even though breakfast is full table service, they were happy to make adjustments and always did so with a smile

The private beaches are probably the best on the island, with soft sand and wave breakers that keep the water calm and peaceful. It made for the most relaxing days by the sea

The staff are all so helpful and friendly, but special mention about Nikos, he always seems to be delighted by everything! Also the Ginger cat is a lovely little chap, who seemed to adopt us! We have visited before, and are looking forward to coming back in the future

The views from the apartment are fantastic, the night life is good, plenty of places to eat and have a drink. If you don't want a big meal you can just have a snack at the bar in the hotel complex

Elounda Alikes is on the water in the beautiful and quaint town of Elounda. The rooms are above average size with a decent balcony for 2 people. The AC was great as well as the bed

The full bar and restaurant on the property are great and available most of the day and night with friendly and helpful staff. The pool and loungers are comfortable and enjoyable

An amazing and relaxing weekend. As me and my wife we make a tour of the east Crete we visited elounda. The hotel is beautiful, large room , fantastic sea view and amazing host
