Excellent service, excellent accommodation,excellent food. Wonderfull views, spacious room large pool and private beach with all the water sports required

The Good: - The private beach has crystal-clear water and because of the location being in a bay, despite wind, there are no waves at all, which is ideal for toddlers - The kids pool is perfect for toddlers - The kids club is very moden and offers great activities for little kids (toddlers can be dropped off for a charge) - Nice choice of good restaurants

Our room was a nice size, with a private pool on our balcony, which overlooked the golf course and beautiful Mirabella Bay. Services were excellent, from housekeeping, front desk, dining room and room service

- The walk from the Porto Elounda down to the beach and pool takes around 5-10 minutes for an adult, but is longer with little kid

Absolutely the most wonderful property- beautiful beach, well-maintained and beautifully renovated rooms, excellent food and excellent, personal service. I’ve returned multiple times and will keep going back.

Evening buffet even better, changed everyday with multiple choices plus multiple exceptional a la carte restaurants Italian il Borro, Japanese Sumosan, and the yacht club

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the water is too cold. It was more comfortable to swim in the sea than in the pool. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, so having a car is recommended

29 years ago we honeymooned here. Time passed and we finally found our way back. It has only become better one better. Our room had a private pool with stunning views

Breakfast was gorgeous, with every kind of excellent food and, though I do not usually indulge in sweets, I could not refrain from noticing eleven different types of cakes (a few of which I guiltily, but more than satisfactorily, tried)

And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable

She accommodated any requests with a genuine caring attitude. Hotel has several restaurant options if you don’t want to leave and explore the island. Highly recommend the Italian a Japanese restaurants

The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

Great location, lots of water sports, and nice staff but the above list is not what you expect at this price point, and is a so-called 5-star resort

Incredible experience! This was an amazing property and the service, along with the amenities were great from start to finish! My husband and I went to Elounda on the third leg of our island hopping honeymoon and we most definitely saved the best for last! We were warmly greeted with drinks and snacks upon arrival as well as a bottle of champagne in our room (as well as the traditional honey and nuts

A superb hotel, from the Elounda collection of Maré, Porto and Peninsula. Manolis, the manager and his super friendly team always make us feel great, on arrival and while we stay

Every little detail was thought of, down to a heart shaped door mat in front of our room. They also had a private breakfast delivered for us in our room the first morning

There is also a huge golf course and a lot of activities like jet ski and boat trip. All the staff are extremely kind and respond to any request immediately. I highly recommend and I hope to be back there soon!

Speaking of food, the breakfast was A-MAZING with all those made from scratch pies and devine Greek yogurt and honey from Crete. Thank you Blue Palace for making my stay so enjoyable

Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. We visited with our 5-month-old baby, and everyone was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring

All the staff went the extra mile and management were present and available. Breakfast was truly a wonderful experience as was lunch and dinner. Only thing I would criticize is the lack of bar service at the pool area

The beach was stunning, the atmosphere relaxing, and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

This was my fifth visit to the Blue Palace and my first under the new regime - Phaea. The service was over the top incredible. The concierge is perhaps the best and most responsive team I’ve ever dealt with

Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation

The hotel is located on a cliff by the sea and therefore there are a lot of stairs and descents and ascents. It has its own beach with a bay. Which is great for those who don't feel very confident in the open sea

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, pretty garden, nice landscape, everything clean, delicious and varied food, very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, wide choice of TV channels

Amazing beach with some privacy and pleasant entrance to the water. Some darts and pool area, several bars and restaurants. Old empty building near by and diving school at the hotel area

To be honest, this hotel has a room for improvement. I will rate it 4 with a half stars. But our stay was a good one: good variety of food, including fish for dinners within half board stay, cava for a breakfast

Always clean everywhere, possibly to use tennis wand equipment for free of charge, parking. Hotel doesn’t provide water within the stay (only one welcome bottle), so you need to pay for drinks within HB stay

For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space

Luxury accommodation with private pools and a very hood beach. Good service and good environment, but not lively place

The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive, polite, helpful and professional. From the moment we arrived they could not do enought for us

There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day. Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day

We have just returned from our holiday at Elounda Bay Hotel, we had a lovely De luxe Sea View room, with fantastic views

The other point is that I have to take medication with my meal, I don’t drink alchohol, so I had to pay 6 Euros every night for a large bottle of water to take my mediation, as you were not allowed to take water into the restaurant

My only crititsim being, it is a buffet restaurant, parents where allowing children to handle food on the buffet table, if they changed their minds or starting creating a scene the food was put back on the table

Similarly, the hotel staff are polite and approachable, but there’s an underlying sense of dissatisfaction in their working environment that subtly impacts the guest experience, creating a less-than-welcoming atmosphere

Greater thought and effort are needed to elevate the culinary offerings to match the expectations of a luxury stay. At the bar, while there’s a decent cocktail list, the execution is underwhelming

Whilst high traffic areas such as the hotel reception are hard to keep pristine, we did note that certain parts of our family room caused some black feet and knees! I'm not sure if cleaning staff regularly mop the floors or just do a light dusting - but more could be done here to improve the cleanliness of the floors

Fantastic resort in the Olive groves, with spectacular views on to Spinalonga island! Exceptional service at all the restaurants. Really warm and helpful staff at the Haute Living, especially Lily & Eleni

The golf buggies are a great touch and ensure guests can be at their destination in no time. However the waiting times from the family pool area back to the main resort can be long

If you visit Crete, Domes of Elounda is a “must stay”! From arrival to departure we were so impressed with this resort. The facility is beautiful and the accommodations were spacious and welcoming

We especially appreciated our private pool! Food served at both the breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely delicious

As our car pulled into the stone-lined entrance, we were greeted not just with warm smiles, but with the kind of authentic, heartfelt welcome that instantly makes you feel like part of something special

We got one of the new rooms and it was really nice, it was close to the restaurant/pool and had a beautiful view of the sea. Getting to the restaurant is just a short walk what makes for a pleasant morning stretch

We were fortunate to see beautiful sunrises every morning from our apartment balacony and have stunning sea views. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff work so hard thoroughly cleaning the pools every morning

Going back to the hotel is a bit more exhausting but what do you expect from a hotel on a hill. I like the physical exercise to let the amazing food you can eat all over town get processed

My family and I (17 of us) stayed here from 16th -23rd august and we had the most amazing holiday. We were initially quite nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews, but we had a wonderful stay

The all-in formula offers a big variety of different food and drinks, the soda isn't the best but i don't drink it so i don't mind

This somehow lead to us being checked into the wrong room and being told we had to move after unpacking and settling in however this was rectified relatively quickly albeit beginning to delay sinking into holiday relaxation as promptly as we would of liked

2 restaurants at prices no more expensive restaurants in Elounda, but surpass the level of service significantly. Very tasty rolls at the sushi bar

A Perfect Stay I spent 12 days in a Deluxe room at the Royal Marmin Boutique Hotel and everything was simply flawless

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and we enjoyed the spa and the private beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always kind and very helpful

I have absolutely nothing to complain about, this was a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-level comfort, beauty, and hospitality

A few small disappointments: the welcome drink was just water, the internal shuttle service was slow, and coffee capsules in the room came with an extra charge — which felt unnecessary for a hotel of this standard

During my stay, I also used the spacious and well-equipped gym, which was a great bonus and added to the overall comfort of the experience

Kelari, the à la carte restaurant, was by far the best dining experience – superb food, though the €20 half-board allowance doesn’t go far. The evening buffet was €45 per person, per night if we hadn’t booked half board

The staff so friendly and welcoming and not intrusive. Our room was amazing and watching sunrise was incredible. I had the BEST head, neck, shoulder and back massage with Eleni, she has magical fingers!!! Thank you ☺️

Well, what can I say about this beautiful hotel. It's my 2nd time to visit this year, first time with my husband and kids and second time with my mum and we were welcomed back like family

The views from this beautiful hotel are only matched by the warmth of the staff. Don't be fooled by the calm, laid-back atmosphere. This hotel runs like clockwork

The overall design of the hotel is beautifully done – classy, modern furnishings and attention to detail throughout, from bedrooms to poolside bars, restaurants, gym and yoga suite

The only thing I would say is for someone like me with poor circulation the pool was a tad chilly, we plumped for it to be heated the last few days, but it was an extra 90 Euros a day

I had a wonderful stay at Elounda Gulf Villas. The service was excellent – especially at the reception (thank you, Despina!), in the restaurant, and by George at the beach, who made our experience extra special

The breakfast was very good, and I especially loved the idea of making fresh orange juice myself – such a refreshing touch! Cleanliness and attention to detail were also outstanding

The resort has transfer service all day to its beach. The staff at the beach is great and always responsive. A thank you to the front desk staff who made our stay all the more enjoyable

Then there is the breakfast - you won't be disappointed, there is so much choice, English, Continental, Greek plus so much more. Salmon for breakfast every day! And the coffee is amazing, even decaffeinated for me

The grounds thoughtfully arranged and well taken care of. Everything about the hotel felt welcoming and relaxing. Highly recommended! And hope to be back for a longer stay!

We only used the quiet pool on the last day, which wasn’t really quiet and still has lots of children using this pool. We were able to get sun-beds easily

Got back from 9 days at this hotel a week ago, we booked a private double room with pool and were given room 3056 which was a perfect location and close to everything, pool was cold but once in the body adjusted and we got sun pretty much till 3pm, weather was lovely hot days and not cold at night apart from the last day as it was windy and some rain

We arrived to one bottle of water in the fridge and didn’t seem to get anymore so we had to buy our own from the on site shop, we got quite a few bits from here so it’s handy

Buffet food was generally quite good, some food was abit cold but it didn’t make it unedible. We ate out a few times went to Elounda and also Agios Nikolas prices reasonable and good food

Yes, the pools were freezing but they were nice and always no problem to get a sunbed. We did one TUI trip to Spinalonga, Elounda and Agios Nikalaus which was very enjoyable

Drinks were not great imo cocktails weren’t the best, the beer was okay though but we aren’t big drinkers anyway. Drinks at the amphitheatre again not great

Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring

From the moment we arrived we felt the 'WOW' factor. The welcome drink with that incredible view was wonderful. We were then swiftly taken to our villa by golf buggy and met with two wonderful ladies who showed us around

We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Luxury Residence and I think I can safely say, with working in travel for 20+ years, this was the best 'room' I've ever stayed in

Two full bathrooms, an oversized king size bedroom, a twin room, a kitchenette with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, cooker, small sink and even a dishwasher

We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable! The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty

The rooms are lovely and spacious, superior rooms have a much bigger balcony. There is a restaurant in site which is nice and roof top cocktail bar is superb. Spiros the bar tender is such a pro

HOTEL There was good WIFI EVERYWHERE! The WIFI was great in our room, by the pool and even on the beach! The staff were so lovely and helpful and we had NO ISSUES throughout our stay

We stayed here again as last year was amazing. It’s bed and breakfast and the breakfasts are excellent

He was also quite disinterested when taking you food/drink order and was more concerned at waving at passing people/motorists to get them to come into the bar/restaurant rather than making those in their feel welcome

When we arrived we were shown tp our room which was like a broom cupboard with no view from yhe balcony, but how lucky the had a better room they could. offer us at an additional €40 per night, very convenient

It has its own small beach with a limited d number of beds, we're early risers so getting a bed wasn't a problem. Some people are still reserving beds but overall, it's not much of an issue
