The pools in the room could use an update as well. I think those are carried over from the Marriott days. Can’t wait to return next summer

On a few occasions we also see people coming in and leaving via the north of the beach, clearly not staying at the hotel but enjoying loungers and facilities without staying or paying

This was my fifth visit to the Blue Palace and my first under the new regime - Phaea. The service was over the top incredible. The concierge is perhaps the best and most responsive team I’ve ever dealt with

The property is much smaller since they are renovating the entire other side. Only suggestion is to update the beach chairs and accommodations and the pool needs more sun umbrellas for shade

Yes, it's a smaller "boutique" property and OK, it hasn't got 18 restaurants and 6 pools and golf course and helipad and watersports centre with giant slide - blah-blah-blah - but that doesn't mean that the experience is any less luxurious

The location is sublime with the views to Spinalonga Island; sunset dinners at the Blue Door Taverna on the beach are just magical and lots of local attractions are within easy driving or boating distance

The beach access and pool area were fantastic, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the rooms were immaculate with stunning views. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool and spa

We enjoyed the Greek night but to be honest we preferred eating in the restaurant each night. Every day we ate lunch at the Beach bar. This suited us as just fancied light snack

The bathroom was clean but is in need of updating. Shower was leaky and hard stepping in and out of bath tub. We really like live music and for us a highlight was a Greek duo who played classical guitar and qanun

If you want a holiday that is completely relaxing then this is the spot for you. This all inclusive adult only resort has an amazing team who work tirelessly to make sure your stay is amazing

the staff was very friendly! the privet pool had very cold water colder then the sea, with salty seawater, the restaurants prices were high with a bit of a pretentious vibe

This hotel is casual and that’s good but When we where here our neighbors were drinking vodka whiskey and smoking so we couldn’t swim in our private pool the service is not good and the rooms are small but the beaches and spa are normal

Whatever I write about the hotel and its people is not enough. They just want to make everything so easy for you, with unpretentious kindness, which is the definition of a holiday and relaxation

! We enjoyed our stays very much!! We were in the new building!! The rooms were big quited and very comfortable, the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful green surroundings, a nice sandy beach for kids, clear sea, very varied food for breakfast and dinner, and friendly, welcoming staff

There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro

most of the staff is welcoming and helpful. The beach and the surroundings are amazing. The thing to improve would be the dinner, it was tasty and fresh, but too simple and repetative

The downside is that despite being five star the dreaded 'hog a sunbed' happens - with people grabbing sunbeds as early as 6am - including from some in the swim up rooms who had sunbeds by their rooms

The hotel is very good and the service excellent. It's located in a lovely bay and the sea swimming is excellent. The food is good and there is a good choice alongside varied menus

Fabulous hotel, service first class, staff very accommodating, all in all hard to fault. Giorgios, Panos, Natalie, stavlous excellent, tbf staff that went above and beyond too many to name. Will return again for sure.

Excellent service, unique location. This is the utmost quiet place for those who need privacy. You get genuine attention from the hotel personnel. The lagune and the sea floor are excellent too

A superb hotel, from the Elounda collection of Maré, Porto and Peninsula. Manolis, the manager and his super friendly team always make us feel great, on arrival and while we stay

Stayed in the Presidential 1 bedroom villa for 3 nights ! Amazing time. we took a helicopter from Mykonos so we were able to land right at the resorts helipad

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

Super accommodating and very friendly staff. The facilities are really beautiful and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Food was really nice as well and we ate at the resort daily

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the water is too cold. It was more comfortable to swim in the sea than in the pool. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, so having a car is recommended

Overall, the hotel could use some renovation; you can feel the passage of time in the rooms. The service is very good, and the view is superb. The pool is inviting for activities but less so for relaxation

Actually, this is just one of the hotels in the entire complex. Unfortunately, guests from the other hotels can use the pool and have the communal breakfast, which can be a bit confusing and noisy

The balcony furniture is terribly uncomfortable :( Important note: they could use someone to inform guests about the location of the pool towels or make it more visible

Sophie accommodations are not if you like being at the pool or by the ocean the umbrellas are extinct I love being outside, but I don’t like full sun exposure

Communal pool was fantastic and not crowded at all, as was the private beach owned by the resort (4K away but a reliable shuttle service provided by the resort for free) where they had good food options and drinks

We stayed in the Samos villa for our honeymoon and the views were breathtaking. We had a private pool and massage room. Maria at the front desk is so sweet and the staff is amazing. We can’t wait to come back one day!

Heading one flight downstairs there was a large double bedroom with sea-views and a large en suite. Heading down one more flight of stair, there were two further twin bedrooms

My son wanted to play in the water with the others several times and asked, but for some reason he was not invited. But fortunately, he didn't get bitter, so there was no problem and we didn't take the matter to heart

We knew they had salt water in them, so we arrived prepared with goggles so it wasn't confusing. I was rather happy for that, because that way I didn't have to worry about normal water causing problems

We were in room 118 and its location is really steep, but it was only difficult to get up the first two days, after that we walked up or took a taxi without any problems

Unfortunately, one of the slides injured my son's back, but after that he paid attention to only sliding on it while sitting down and it was no longer a problem

Elounda cannot be called cheap, souvenirs and especially clothes are very expensive, but the restaurants are surprisingly cheap and cook excellently

Great hotel and staff. Stayed 12 nights. Great views and right across from beach. Has own decent size pool on 4th floor. Rooms air conditioned, not a lot of storage but my wife and I managed to unpack most things.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, which made our stay enjoyable

Sea, beach, beautiful, good service

We have been to all restaurants in the hotel. Each one was of a high standard and was very delicious. Beach is lovely, and the service is fantastic. We will definitely next year visit and stay more

Made with lovely cucumber, olives, tomatoes and a chunks of feta cheese to give you a tasty Mediterranean flavored dish. The place is well maintained with clean infinity pool and lovely sea facing rooms

Everything was perfect The price is big, but totally worth it. The renovated rooms are really pricey but totally worth it , if you stay in the renovated rooms you can go to this really nice beach (there are two beaches)

They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need

The pool, though cold, was beautiful to cool off in and was always immaculately clean. There were always plentiful sunbeds - no having to fight to be first down in the morning

3rd trip here to my little piece of heaven. If you are just wanting a relaxing chilled out holiday this is for you. Elounda itself is a quiet fishing village with just enough bars/restaurants.

Breakfast buffet is really good. There is always meat, which are gaining as you want, and not as the Turks under the painting. There is practically no beach but has a pool

Amazing views over the bay from pool and terrace in room. And the pool is nice decorating touches good value. Now with the bad, no TV, no door on freezer so no ice for drinks

The door kept pulling key holder out of the wall. You couldn't get any food or drink on site thought the day. Place needs updating flooring fixtures and fittings and equipment

A comfortable apartment with a splendid terrace from which you can see a splendid panorama; an access to the sea with a private beach, under splendid palm trees, with deck chairs, umbrellas, shower, games for children, a huge shaded table

The sea water is crystal clear, sheltered from the north-west winds, therefore almost always calm and with a comfortable backdrop even for the smallest children

I highly recommend this splendid beach house to those who want to explore Elounda with its lagoon, Spinalonga and all the magnificent gulf of Mirabello
