Hotels with pool on first line in Elounda

The property is much smaller since they are renovating the entire other side. Only suggestion is to update the beach chairs and accommodations and the pool needs more sun umbrellas for shade

Yes, it's a smaller "boutique" property and OK, it hasn't got 18 restaurants and 6 pools and golf course and helipad and watersports centre with giant slide - blah-blah-blah - but that doesn't mean that the experience is any less luxurious

The location is sublime with the views to Spinalonga Island; sunset dinners at the Blue Door Taverna on the beach are just magical and lots of local attractions are within easy driving or boating distance

The pools in the room could use an update as well. I think those are carried over from the Marriott days. Can’t wait to return next summer

We didn't know the previous version of this hotel to compare to but we loved the "new" version, with all the thoughtful gestures towards sustainability and efforts to integrate with Cretan culture & foods, etc - whilst still maintaining the quality and personalised service you expect from a 5-star place

We made a daytrip to the Omalos Plateau & Diktamos (Zeus) cave one day and climbed to the top of the mountains (high enough that everything was covered in a freezing mist!) and were back in time for a lovely dinner in the main restaurant

the staff was very friendly! the privet pool had very cold water colder then the sea, with salty seawater, the restaurants prices were high with a bit of a pretentious vibe

This hotel is casual and that’s good but When we where here our neighbors were drinking vodka whiskey and smoking so we couldn’t swim in our private pool the service is not good and the rooms are small but the beaches and spa are normal

The service is superb and people are warm and friendly. The location including the beach are pristine. Rooms are modern and well maintained. Bathrooms are proper and state of the art Not cheap but worth every penny

I had a wonderful stay at Tui Blue Elounda Village Resort & Spa by AQUILA. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

Everything was perfect The price is big, but totally worth it. The renovated rooms are really pricey but totally worth it , if you stay in the renovated rooms you can go to this really nice beach (there are two beaches)

We have been to all restaurants in the hotel. Each one was of a high standard and was very delicious. Beach is lovely, and the service is fantastic. We will definitely next year visit and stay more

Knowing about Greek culture, the behaviour of the staff, their service with love and the food here are to die for. I still remember the Choriatiki which is a must try with almost every meal

There is an indoor swimming pool and gym right near the beach. The only downside for us was that it was just over an hour away from the airport costing around 100euro

The downside is that despite being five star the dreaded 'hog a sunbed' happens - with people grabbing sunbeds as early as 6am - including from some in the swim up rooms who had sunbeds by their rooms

The hotel is very good and the service excellent. It's located in a lovely bay and the sea swimming is excellent. The food is good and there is a good choice alongside varied menus

We moved rooms - the sea view room we were supposed to have was obscured by palm trees - and the staff were excellent in finding an alternative - which was lovely

The family pool is stunning as are the kids facilities, including the teenager area which benefits from xboxes, pool table, table football, table tennis, football pool

We had a lovely stay of 10 nights at this hotel. All of the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We would not hesitate to come back here

Loads of restaurants to chose from although we used the buffet restaurant the most which serves really good quality food. Service is fantastic in all respects. Highly recommended for a one week stay or longer with kids

Porridge at breakfast would often be cold - I do not think the electric hob where the cast iron pot was placed was hot enough to maintain a desired temperature

The golf buggies are a great touch and ensure guests can be at their destination in no time. However the waiting times from the family pool area back to the main resort can be long

We stayed in the Elounda Water Park Residence and this place certainly was the "glue" which pulled everything together we expected from the island and truly made the holiday the relaxing experience we hoped

Arriving in the dark, we were amazed at the Stunning views from our rooms in the morning - we never tired of that view. The rooms we were given were 1st rate, very clean & modern. Cleaned daily to the highest standards

The town of Elounda was a wonderful place to spend time if you choose to wander out - lovely bars & eating places, beaches all you could want but not swamped with people - very chilled

I went with my children (7 and 14), they both loved the waterslides and pools and there was always a great variety of food. My 7 year old is very fussy, but then she doesn't eat much in the heat

The hotel is very beautiful, the hotel has its own swimming pool. And some rooms have their own private swimming pool

From room you can have a beautiful view of the sea, you can see the sunrise, you can see the mountains. Room setting is also very cute, daily cleaning. The workers are also very nice and friendly

They have a tennis court, spa and the transportation in the resort is done by golf carts which arrive quickly. All the stuff is very gentle, ready to help you and bringing you whatever you need

The service in this hotel is amazing! They take care of your needs. All our requests were accomplished fast. The cleanliness of the room was great. The gym is pretty well equipped

Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional

We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite

Friendly staff, great and fast room service. Clean rooms, pools, water and beach. Tasty food, including in room service, works 11:00 - 22:00, but there are some meals available for 24h

I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed

Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

We got a two-bedroom deluxe villa with our own swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. But the unit felt old; we are guessing it was built 30 or so years ago and has not been updated

(4) Frankly, we had made a mistake booking this hotel, when we meant to book at the Elounda Beach Hotel, which is much better than the Elounda Gulf Villas, for the same price

Breakfast buffet is really good. There is always meat, which are gaining as you want, and not as the Turks under the painting. There is practically no beach but has a pool

Amazing hotel and it is very family oriented, the staff were exceptional ( Georgia, Ismail from the hotel , TUI staff ( Louis and Stasha ), plenty of pools and very excellent water slides, the food was delicious and the main restaurant location and view is awesome

What a fabulous week we've had. Just using the free courtesy room to freshen up before the coach trip to the airport then back to the UK. Great food. Great refreshments. Great pools. Amazing staff. I can't fault it.

There are two lovely pools, fresh food and drink at both sites and happy staff to encourage sport activity in the day. The restaurant is fully stocked with beautiful food and fruit

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

A great sunrise in the morning and beautiful views of the mountains across Mirabello Bay. The food tasted amazing, handmade and fresh. The chef at this hotel makes a wide range of delicious meals

I'd also recommend visiting the vibrant local town of Agios Nikolaos for a great trip out. Overall we'd visit here again as we left feeling super relaxed and content with our stay

Elounda is beautiful and we walked to the lovely little village of Plaka and got on a boat over to Spinalonga - a total must see. Only an hour from Heraklion airport, a pleasant drive

Lovely stay at Kavos. Staff were really friendly, even allowed us to use the pool etc even though we were only using the apartments after being moved from our hotel. Would love to come back again and stay here.

Amazing views over the bay from pool and terrace in room. And the pool is nice decorating touches good value. Now with the bad, no TV, no door on freezer so no ice for drinks

The door kept pulling key holder out of the wall. You couldn't get any food or drink on site thought the day. Place needs updating flooring fixtures and fittings and equipment

All the guests were friendly and the pool was lovely. Location wise it's perfect, a very short walk from the tavernas, shops, boats and beaches but nice and quiet to retreat to when needing to relax and chill
