Speaking of food, the breakfast was A-MAZING with all those made from scratch pies and devine Greek yogurt and honey from Crete. Thank you Blue Palace for making my stay so enjoyable

Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome. We visited with our 5-month-old baby, and everyone was so kind, patient, and genuinely caring

The beach was stunning, the atmosphere relaxing, and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

All the staff went the extra mile and management were present and available. Breakfast was truly a wonderful experience as was lunch and dinner. Only thing I would criticize is the lack of bar service at the pool area

The beach facilities and service were excellent. We enjoyed the movie theater which was comfortable and professional equipped

Absolutely the most wonderful property- beautiful beach, well-maintained and beautifully renovated rooms, excellent food and excellent, personal service. I’ve returned multiple times and will keep going back.

the staff was very friendly! the privet pool had very cold water colder then the sea, with salty seawater, the restaurants prices were high with a bit of a pretentious vibe

Comfortable, well equipped, and perfectly clean. The sea view was fantastic, overlooking the swiming pool and the coast. Our room was in a good state of renovation

Only slight criticisms there are quite a few add-ons ,paying for water with evening meals ,90 Euros for late check out for four hours or 30 minute slot for three adults for a complimentary shower room wasn't the best

Comfortable, spacious, quiet, pretty garden, nice landscape, everything clean, delicious and varied food, very friendly and helpful staff, good Wifi, wide choice of TV channels

Booked last minute ,full board weeks' stay. Statement not criticism,there are steps n slopes everywhere some very steep to pools n beach. Can only highly recommend location accommodation,food n service

The (artificial) sand beach is quite small, but was enough for the number of guests at the time. Terraces with comfortable sun loungers next to the beach. I had a bungalow with sea view

Bath tub rather than shower cabin is somewhat old fashioned, but no problem for me. Buildings, beach and facilities are spread on a hillside at different altitudes

For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space

Really lovely venue and location. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful Could not have been better apart from the prices in the hotel for drinks and meals

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review

There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day. Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day

The beds they select (ones that are free/available) are the ones you keep for your entire holiday. Whether you lay on the beach or not

As returning guests of many years Elounda Beach never fails to impress us. There are too many wonderful staff members to mention by name they anticipate our every need, nothing is too much trouble

We were also very surprised that the Climate Resilience tax has gone up from 10 Euros last year to 15 Euros this year per room per night, we were there for 12 nights, so we had to pay a further 180 euros, this is much higher that other European countries

Also all the staff in every area of the hotel and in particular Nikos who arranged a room change for us and Kostas in the restaurant made a difference with their friendly helpful customer orientated service

The beach staff are friendly, but their service is slow and unreliable, which can frustrate guests seeking a seamless experience

The staff as always were superb, with special thank you to the lovely lady who cleaned our room every day Joanna, Maria and George who served us at the Sale Bar, Frangisco our lovely beach man who looked after us so well every day putting our sun beds out, nothing was too much trouble for him and not forgetting Victoria on the Customer Relations desk, what we would have done without her, always so...

As outlined in other reviews there are undoubtedly areas of the hotel which could be improved to make it perfect but our overall experience was very good

Our whole family had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience from laying out at their private beach to watching the sunrise from our balcony in the morning. I am already planning my next stay here!!!

Fantastic resort in the Olive groves, with spectacular views on to Spinalonga island! Exceptional service at all the restaurants. Really warm and helpful staff at the Haute Living, especially Lily & Eleni

There are various room choices, the pool villas being superb with an array of personal facilities including a washing machine. There is a private beach with a bar and food

If you visit Crete, Domes of Elounda is a “must stay”! From arrival to departure we were so impressed with this resort. The facility is beautiful and the accommodations were spacious and welcoming

The beach restaurant is fantastic for lunch, with great food and a superb atmosphere. Nikos form the beach is kind, funny, helpful and always in a good mood. Both the pool and the beach are beautiful

We especially appreciated our private pool! Food served at both the breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely delicious

Free shuttle to your rooms, free shuttle bus to the main road, but we got taxis to and from Elounda village as easier for the kids. The sun was shining, the pools were fantastic

The pools are very fun although I’d watch out if you have sensitive kids as the water is salt water and can be quite stingy and affective to kids with sensitive skin

We went into Elounda village and took a boat trip to Spinlonga which was fantastic, we did the little train round trip, we hired a car from our resort and went 30 mins down the road to Amazonas park to see some monkeys, lemurs and exotic birds

The hotel manager was brilliant he couldn't do enough for you, phoned boat companies to see about availability, sorted clean towels for the room and pool etc

The pool area by the main eating area is described as adult only but they do allow children on there and it was a fab area to relax as in the children could touch the bottom etc

I would like to say we are a fit healthy family but the walk down and back to the children's pools was a killer so after the 1st day we decided to just stay around the top pool

Standard rooms are not big but nice and clean and not very high so access is easy to the beach and breakfast and to the pool area

The room with the private pool and sea view is wow. The best time I had in many years

From room you can have a beautiful view of the sea, you can see the sunrise, you can see the mountains. Room setting is also very cute, daily cleaning. The workers are also very nice and friendly

A well kitted out gym, pool, three restaurants, tennis court, and carts to transport you around. We’d love to stay again sometime

As a solo traveller I was made to feel incredibly welcome at all times and treated with an abundance of warmth - nothing was too much to ask! I also have a nut allergy and I have to say the hotel went above and beyond - chef (what a guy!) came and gave me a tour every evening to let me know what I could and could not eat (there was not much I could not eat!) and he even made me special bread 😊 all...

On top of the fantastic food served in the usual restaurant which was part of the half board I also tried both the Poseidon and samurai - both equally fantastic - both with again fabulous staff- both with delicious menus - if you are coming I would recommend giving both a go during the course of your stay you won’t regret it! I could go on ( but I will stop now!) but all I really want to say is every...

Overall, the hotel could use some renovation; you can feel the passage of time in the rooms. The service is very good, and the view is superb. The pool is inviting for activities but less so for relaxation

We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite

I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed

Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the water is too cold. It was more comfortable to swim in the sea than in the pool. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, so having a car is recommended

I found the staff extremely helpful. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious

The private pool in every room is a unique feature which affords you your own space and privacy. Cayo comes with all the trimmings and they have their own beach which is a few minutes walk away

The perfect place to relax and feel Cretan hospitality. The hotel is amazing, they offer sea view and private pools for all rooms. The crew makes you feel as a guest and not as a customer

The hotel is beautifully built and set in a great location overlooking the sea. The staff provide excellent service in a very friendly, courteous and polite manner. No is never an option with them

One of the best hotels I've ever been to, if not the best, especially if you value the astonishing design of the property as such - coloured marble bars, reception desk, artistic lamps - really beautiful place

Super accommodating and very friendly staff. The facilities are really beautiful and the view from the rooms is breathtaking. Food was really nice as well and we ate at the resort daily

We had a private pool and beach access which was WONDERFUL! The view of the sunrise was unforgettable! We also went to the spa and experienced the pool, saunas and steam room (A+ experience)

They left us a bunch of wine , fruits , cakes and food in our villa waiting for us ! The hidden gem of this suite was the walkway down to a private jetty right on the sea ! Amazing little spot ! We also took out the resorts yacht for a day sail where I proposed to my girlfriend ! They set it up beautifully! 10/10 for style and service ! We did not visit the hotels pool since we had our own private...

The staff there was so accommodating (especially our waiter, who is hospitality at the nearby university!) We also frequented the beach bar quite a bit and Andreas was awesome! The breakfast offerings on the property were also amazing… several traditional Cretan dishes

The beach area, the restaurants, the attention to all details, are all first class! A unique experience, from first to last minute

Fabulous hotel, service first class, staff very accommodating, all in all hard to fault. Giorgios, Panos, Natalie, stavlous excellent, tbf staff that went above and beyond too many to name. Will return again for sure.

A superb hotel, from the Elounda collection of Maré, Porto and Peninsula. Manolis, the manager and his super friendly team always make us feel great, on arrival and while we stay

This very special villa/suite hotel is like a corner of paradise. We had a villa with its own infinity pool, it was luxurious and very private. The facilities are great, with a main pool and comfortable sun beds

The beach club is perfect with a minibus on hand to take you to and from the hotel. However, what really makes this place special is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and are exceptional

Everything is provided for the comfort of guests. The views are spectacular and the grounds well kept and attractive. Don’t worry about the hill, golf buggies are on hand to run you around

Elounda itself is utterly charming with a range of shops and fabulous restaurants. It is walkable (about 30 mins downhill) but get one of the very smart Mercedes taxis back - 11 euros

The breakfast is incredible, from smoke salmon to fabulous fruit platters, a huge range of bread and pastries and plenty of hot options; even do it yourself mimosas

A special mention to the guys at the bar — their service was exceptional and truly made our experience unforgettable. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Amazing hotel and it is very family oriented, the staff were exceptional ( Georgia, Ismail from the hotel , TUI staff ( Louis and Stasha ), plenty of pools and very excellent water slides, the food was delicious and the main restaurant location and view is awesome

What a fabulous week we've had. Just using the free courtesy room to freshen up before the coach trip to the airport then back to the UK. Great food. Great refreshments. Great pools. Amazing staff. I can't fault it.

Breakfast buffet is really good. There is always meat, which are gaining as you want, and not as the Turks under the painting. There is practically no beach but has a pool

Really well maintained with friendly and polite staff. Food areas were immaculate with a good range of food. We were there for the last week of the season so a few amenities were not open

If we had paid full price then we would have been a bit miffed. If you are you going on the water slides use a ring or lilo. The joins on the slides rip you to bits!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers for all. A few minutes walk into Elounda the location was great Rooms had a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable

When we made the hotel aware of my diet we were told that the menu is based on what the chef can get hold of, and despite being on the seafront, we only had fish on one evening (which was completely inedible as it was coated in salt)

Whilst we got fresh towels every couple of days, our sheets were never changed, our bed was either not made at all, or made very roughly & the bathrooms or surfaces were never cleaned

Had our rooms been located somewhere else I think it would have been better so we weren’t disturbed so much. The breakfast was what you expect for a 3 star and the dinner was good

The rooms are very run down, the showers are lukewarm at best (we had 2 warm showers throughout our entire 7 day stay), and the daily 'clean' of the room was laughable

While you were allowed tap water at breakfast, you were not allowed tap water at your evening meal, which, considering they have it available, is a bit out of order

Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring

We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable! The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty

We thought the beach was just perfect, nice ambiance, great snacks and drinks and travelling as a couple, we appreciated the 'quiet' zone. You don't need to cross the road to access the beach, which is a private beach

I had a look at the spa and it looked wonderful, with a pool, jacuzzi, couples treatments and steam/sauna

The bed was super comfy and there was AC and ceiling fans in every room. I was a little apprehensive before going as I knew the resort was very large and built on either sides of a hill

Elounda is beautiful and we walked to the lovely little village of Plaka and got on a boat over to Spinalonga - a total must see. Only an hour from Heraklion airport, a pleasant drive

The rooms are lovely and spacious, superior rooms have a much bigger balcony. There is a restaurant in site which is nice and roof top cocktail bar is superb. Spiros the bar tender is such a pro

It has its own small beach with a limited d number of beds, we're early risers so getting a bed wasn't a problem. Some people are still reserving beds but overall, it's not much of an issue

We initially thought our sea-view room was pleasant but on the smaller side. However, after being given access to another room on our last day to freshen up before departure, we realised just how fortunate we had been

He was also quite disinterested when taking you food/drink order and was more concerned at waving at passing people/motorists to get them to come into the bar/restaurant rather than making those in their feel welcome

When we arrived we were shown tp our room which was like a broom cupboard with no view from yhe balcony, but how lucky the had a better room they could. offer us at an additional €40 per night, very convenient

It's a 10 minute stroll into the harbour area with lots of choice for restaurants. The head waiter has a habit of charging €7. 50 for a glass of wine while the other waiters only charge €5

Also in the bathroom there is no curtain, after showering the whole floor wet. From hotel to sea beach is a narrow lane where a mess

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

A great sunrise in the morning and beautiful views of the mountains across Mirabello Bay. The food tasted amazing, handmade and fresh. The chef at this hotel makes a wide range of delicious meals

They are a family of staff and work thier socks off ! I can’t mention them all by name but they made our holiday an absolute pleasure ! I can’t than thank them enough for caring about us which is so lost these days in hospitality, kindness wins !!!!!

The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Albert, who seemed to be doing a range of roles from helping with baggage on arrival to waiting on food ect, a really helpful member of the team

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and with a wide variety to choose from each day

The drinks were just as impressive, especially by the pool, where you could truly relax and enjoy a cocktail in the sun. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible service

The breakfast is cooked fresh every day & you have a wide choice of hot and cold & all cooked by Maria's mummy who did try to teach me greek. Breakfast is served by Angela and once again nothing is a problem

Lovely stay at Kavos. Staff were really friendly, even allowed us to use the pool etc even though we were only using the apartments after being moved from our hotel. Would love to come back again and stay here.

Amazing views over the bay from pool and terrace in room. And the pool is nice decorating touches good value. Now with the bad, no TV, no door on freezer so no ice for drinks

The door kept pulling key holder out of the wall. You couldn't get any food or drink on site thought the day. Place needs updating flooring fixtures and fittings and equipment
