Misleading Marketing Negatives Marketing and website over sells. It has the feel of a large hotel, which after a bit of research was the case. It rebranded and remarketed in 2024

Prior to booking, we reached out with our concerns about construction and were told construction would not take place during the summer season. When we arrived, we were disappointed to see that was not the case

A luxury resort, with the prices they charge, who owns the property under construction should not be doing construction during their open season

The hotel was beautiful, staff helpful, and food delicious (we ate at the farmers feast and blue door). We also had an excellent massage at the spa

The entire day jack hammering, vehicle noises, etc could be heard. In our original room, it was so loud it woke us up through closed doors

Absolutely the most wonderful property- beautiful beach, well-maintained and beautifully renovated rooms, excellent food and excellent, personal service. I’ve returned multiple times and will keep going back.

Evening buffet even better, changed everyday with multiple choices plus multiple exceptional a la carte restaurants Italian il Borro, Japanese Sumosan, and the yacht club

No crowds, no queuing, no hassle polite friendly ‘family’ team , no worries only a chilled out paradise

The Good: - The private beach has crystal-clear water and because of the location being in a bay, despite wind, there are no waves at all, which is ideal for toddlers - The kids pool is perfect for toddlers - The kids club is very moden and offers great activities for little kids (toddlers can be dropped off for a charge) - Nice choice of good restaurants

The gap to the other restaurants is huge and many hotel guests tend to have dinners in the other restaurants, but obviously this becomes very costly (in three restaurants adults get deducted 24 EUR and kids 12 EUR, if they have the half-board option) - While having Golf & Spa Resort in the hotel name, the golf course is very mediocre

For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper. On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space

Really lovely venue and location. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful Could not have been better apart from the prices in the hotel for drinks and meals

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review

The hotal has a few shops (including high end jewellery store) and a great range of restaurants, including tradtional Greek style Taverna, Italian and fine dining options. You basically do noy need to leave the resort

There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day. Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day

We love this hotel and we were given an upgrade, as our previous booking was changed due to the rooms been refurbished. We were given a suite with a shared pool, which was a surprise

As outlined in other reviews there are undoubtedly areas of the hotel which could be improved to make it perfect but our overall experience was very good

The hotel is very good and the service excellent. It's located in a lovely bay and the sea swimming is excellent. The food is good and there is a good choice alongside varied menus

Also all the staff in every area of the hotel and in particular Nikos who arranged a room change for us and Kostas in the restaurant made a difference with their friendly helpful customer orientated service

Similarly, the hotel staff are polite and approachable, but there’s an underlying sense of dissatisfaction in their working environment that subtly impacts the guest experience, creating a less-than-welcoming atmosphere

Greater thought and effort are needed to elevate the culinary offerings to match the expectations of a luxury stay. At the bar, while there’s a decent cocktail list, the execution is underwhelming

Fantastic resort in the Olive groves, with spectacular views on to Spinalonga island! Exceptional service at all the restaurants. Really warm and helpful staff at the Haute Living, especially Lily & Eleni

If you visit Crete, Domes of Elounda is a “must stay”! From arrival to departure we were so impressed with this resort. The facility is beautiful and the accommodations were spacious and welcoming

The house-keeping staff were lovely. Highlight for us was the kids club, led by Eleni and her wonderful team! Our daughter ran in every day-the absolute best we’ve ever experienced!

All of the restaurants are to die for, we had no issue going back for dinner a second or third night to a restaurant because there were so many things on the menu we wanted to try

29 years ago we honeymooned here. Time passed and we finally found our way back. It has only become better one better. Our room had a private pool with stunning views

The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere

The sea is crystal clear and very salty, so floating requires minimal effort and makes swimming even more relaxing

Breakfast was gorgeous, with every kind of excellent food and, though I do not usually indulge in sweets, I could not refrain from noticing eleven different types of cakes (a few of which I guiltily, but more than satisfactorily, tried)

And the service, from welcome, to servers to cleaning staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Truly an amazing experience at every step and at every moment. And the facilities and grounds are impeccable

Kelari, the à la carte restaurant, was by far the best dining experience – superb food, though the €20 half-board allowance doesn’t go far. The evening buffet was €45 per person, per night if we hadn’t booked half board

The queue for the fresh orange juice machine was a daily frustration – a second machine would really help. We had booked half board and wished we hadn’t, flexibility would have been better

The overall design of the hotel is beautifully done – classy, modern furnishings and attention to detail throughout, from bedrooms to poolside bars, restaurants, gym and yoga suite

The views from this beautiful hotel are only matched by the warmth of the staff. Don't be fooled by the calm, laid-back atmosphere. This hotel runs like clockwork

Food & Drink Cocktails and local wine were excellent, but a word of caution: “Happy Hour” timings are unclear, and at €14 a cocktail it’s worth double-checking

Also in the bathroom there is no curtain, after showering the whole floor wet. From hotel to sea beach is a narrow lane where a mess

Great little place,hills and steps to contend with,so bear this in mind if booking,but they do have a golf buggy and are more than happy to assist you up and down driveway as long as you communicate with them,nice breeze around pool which is much needed with the heat,food was amazing,no complaints

Gregory the bartender was another notable member of staff, as well as the manager, who was always on hand to help. Overall the staff really make this place feel special. The views from this place were incredible

A great sunrise in the morning and beautiful views of the mountains across Mirabello Bay. The food tasted amazing, handmade and fresh. The chef at this hotel makes a wide range of delicious meals

They are a family of staff and work thier socks off ! I can’t mention them all by name but they made our holiday an absolute pleasure ! I can’t than thank them enough for caring about us which is so lost these days in hospitality, kindness wins !!!!!

The staff were friendly and courteous, especially Albert, who seemed to be doing a range of roles from helping with baggage on arrival to waiting on food ect, a really helpful member of the team

The rooms are lovely and spacious, superior rooms have a much bigger balcony. There is a restaurant in site which is nice and roof top cocktail bar is superb. Spiros the bar tender is such a pro

We stayed here again as last year was amazing. It’s bed and breakfast and the breakfasts are excellent

He was also quite disinterested when taking you food/drink order and was more concerned at waving at passing people/motorists to get them to come into the bar/restaurant rather than making those in their feel welcome

When we arrived we were shown tp our room which was like a broom cupboard with no view from yhe balcony, but how lucky the had a better room they could. offer us at an additional €40 per night, very convenient

It has its own small beach with a limited d number of beds, we're early risers so getting a bed wasn't a problem. Some people are still reserving beds but overall, it's not much of an issue

5 yr old daughter, we was the one family on the train, definitely don’t book the 4hr one if you have kids it’s not child friendly really and they stop for lunch at a small restaurant up in the mountain with limited menu, great views over the bay for pictures and abit of history

We arrived to one bottle of water in the fridge and didn’t seem to get anymore so we had to buy our own from the on site shop, we got quite a few bits from here so it’s handy

We brought our firestick and internet was good no issues with streaming socket below the tv so no need for an extension lead, in our room anyway. Done the 4hr train ride with our 2

Drinks were not great imo cocktails weren’t the best, the beer was okay though but we aren’t big drinkers anyway. Drinks at the amphitheatre again not great

Overall had a great holiday would I return, probably not as there is many different options and the hotel didn’t have a lasting impression on us

Was meant to go the other Al carte but forgot to book it 🤦🏼‍♂️ not open on a Sunday so we missed out as eat out over that weekend

My Mother and I had a REALLY REALLY wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were soooo friendly and EXTREMELY kind. It is a family run hotel which has absolutely breathtaking stunning sea views

Also very close to the excellent bus service to be able to jump on and off buses to explore this BEAUTIFUL island!!! I cannot wait to go back!!!!!! Thank you for a fantastic stay, see you VERY soon!!!!

The location couldn’t be anymore central to Elounda for delicious restaurants, shops, bars, cafes etc

Centrally located in Elounda on the waters edge. Peaceful and my balcony overlooked Spinalonga. Clean and staff very friendly and welcoming

Very basic hotel . Breakfast limited. The location is great.. it's value for money and clean

The staff are helpful and friendly, our room was spacious with a sea view. However my advice is don't go half board here as the food isn't great - breakfast was just passable, Dinner was awful

We have just returned from a 10 day trip to the Elounda Orama and had a fabulous time. Our room was great, comfortable bed, great shower and very clean. The aircon was perfect after a warm day out and about

the pool itself needs a good clean - there's a green around the water beds. On a plus note - Nico the barman is a sweetheart - always smiling and helpful. This hotel needs some money spent on it's maintenance

we ended up eating out every night so we felt that we'd wasted money going Half Board. Pool is lovely but very tired, we both got splinters from the decking as it's breaking up

The pool does get busy but we were always able to find somewhere to sit. Breakfast had plenty of choices, hot and cold, with a very friendly chef who enjoyed explaining what traditional dishes were available

We had an issue with our ac and Kostas fixed it in a trice. Don’t hesitate if you need advice or have questions - just ask. We stayed in Pan - overlooks the pool and bay with a large secluded rooftop area for sunbathing

Yet again a fantastic stay and wouldn't stay anywhere else in that part of Crete as it wouldn't be the same. Panoramic views of the gulf and across to Spinalonga, mountains behind. Short walk into Elounda town itself

The evening food is probably the best ive had anywhere with Vangelis cooking amazing food every night as a special (or a normal menu is also available). Friendly, good fun, helpful and couldnt ask for more

Everything was wonderful, the room, the pool and pool bar, the restaurant, the grounds, and the staff. Ritsa warmly greeted us and showed us around the beautiful resort. We spent a lot of time around the pool

We ate at the on-site restaurant twice, and both times, the food and service were perfect. Later, we spent time at the bar. Katerina was awesome! Serving up great drinks and warm hospitality

We arrived in July and stayed through to August for 14 nights. This is our 3rd visit to Elounda and the heights in as many years. It is situated in a beautiful location overlooking Elounda and the bay

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers for all. A few minutes walk into Elounda the location was great Rooms had a mini fridge and the beds were comfortable

Whilst we got fresh towels every couple of days, our sheets were never changed, our bed was either not made at all, or made very roughly & the bathrooms or surfaces were never cleaned

Had our rooms been located somewhere else I think it would have been better so we weren’t disturbed so much. The breakfast was what you expect for a 3 star and the dinner was good

The rooms are very run down, the showers are lukewarm at best (we had 2 warm showers throughout our entire 7 day stay), and the daily 'clean' of the room was laughable

The amount of palm was like an oasis after being in busy Istanbul. The food and dining there is phenomenal. There is a lovely pool and comfortable pool chairs to relax in

The bed was super comfy and there was AC and ceiling fans in every room. I was a little apprehensive before going as I knew the resort was very large and built on either sides of a hill

There are many sun loungers for different tastes of staying in the sun. In the morning at dawn, everything is treated with disinfectant solutions. The rooms are excellent, nothing special, but cozy

The (artificial) sand beach is quite small, but was enough for the number of guests at the time. Terraces with comfortable sun loungers next to the beach. I had a bungalow with sea view

I appreciate that a good choice of local greek and crete specialities is available in addition to the usual things one gets everywhere. A range of dishes are freshly cooked all the time, some in live cooking

I see this as a consequence of the spacious setting in a pretty landscape. 50 minutes walk to Elounda town center, no bus connection. All staff is very friendly and helpful

Minor comment the room is small and towards the unmodernsied - bathroom is not comfortable to use as the water goes everywhere and closets are dysfunctional

A Perfect Stay I spent 12 days in a Deluxe room at the Royal Marmin Boutique Hotel and everything was simply flawless

A few small disappointments: the welcome drink was just water, the internal shuttle service was slow, and coffee capsules in the room came with an extra charge — which felt unnecessary for a hotel of this standard

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and we enjoyed the spa and the private beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always kind and very helpful

I have absolutely nothing to complain about, this was a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-level comfort, beauty, and hospitality
