We stayed at Hotel Kaikis on the main street of Kalabaka, near Meteora, based on recommendations from Booking, and it seemed like a promising choice. The hotel has a warm, family-run atmosphere, but it's quite outdated, and the breakfast is very basic, with no vegetables. It's suitable for those looking for a budget-friendly option and just a place to sleep

Great hotel in the heart of Kalabaka. Nice and close to free parking (across the road) and on the main street featuring most of the best restaurants, bars, and shops.
You can easily hike to the Meteora monastery areas or take a very short drive to get there.
The room itself was fairly basic, AC was old and not strong, the bed was kind of hard, and the wifi was not great. Everything was very clean, though, and I still think it's a great value. The balcony was also nice to relax on.
The breakfast was really good and fresh, and the staff definitely went out of their way to make sure my stay was good, they were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 2 nights at the end of April 2024. The hotel is located on the main street, with parking nearby. The room we had was super clean and nice. Breakfast is ok - nothing special. Cold cuts, cold cereals, the like. We opted to have breakfast at a nearby cafe the second morning. Wi-Fi continuously dropped out. The staff is simply amazing, friendly, professional, and super attentive to all guests' needs. Great place to stay in Kalabaka.

AWESOME STAY , super friendly and professional. Great rooms and view, breakfast awesome. Easy safe walk down town. Staff lots of personality and couldn't do enough for us. Would have liked to stayed longer. A MUST STAY!!

Very pleasant (and super clean) family-run hotel. Perfect location. As I wanted to walk the whole area, the owner gave me excellent tips about the monasteries, hiking paths and some places where very few tourists go.
