The best thing is the location and the outside area. The reception is not bad at all. The room is quite old and when you enter the bathroom you feel like you have gone back in time. The restaurant is terrible. The food was missing at dinner. The breakfast was even worse. There was not even coffee. A machine with hot, murky water and instant coffee. The worst hotel of my stay in Greece.

The pros: location is great and we had a balcony facing the monastery so it was a lovely view. The room and washroom were clean and the staff and food were very good.
The cons: no wifi on the rooms, we had two twin beds pushed together instead of a queen bed and most importantly, this may sound crazy, but I felt very unease on my room. Just had a creepy feeling about it; saw, heard and felt a couple things… I dont know if is just me, but I could hardly sleep. Just in case someone else feels it too, you are not alone.

Our stay was ruined by appallingly ill-mannered behaviour by groups, mainly on coach tours, who have no care or concern for others. Slamming bedroom doors, shouting in corridors, bedrooms and on balconies. The noise was late and started again at 6am. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

The kosta famissi where I stayed at 1th floor was actually in a state: filthy bathroom with silicones full of moisture, bathroom with no amenities, mattresses sunken or unbalanced to one side, air conditioner making loud BEEPING noise every half an hour. I would not recommend this place unless you stay at the top floor which they have refurbished, so there are two types of comments from different perspectives.
One female staff who works at the buffet in morning shift, she really need to be well trained, she weirdly come across guests to clean up the coffee section while you are pouring coffee, and when she bump into the guest, she just gave a funny expression without saying anything.
The only good part is receptionists are friendly and being helpful.

This Hotel has four stars but rooms are very dirty; dead slapped flies attached to the walls, shower and sink have a yellow circle around the drain, dust in every angle, dirty air filters in the bathroom, chewing gum stuck to the ground, etc.
Besides the food offered is very tasteless and for vegetarians it consists of no more than tzatziki, tomatoes, dry bread pieces, cucumber and a bit of steamed veggies in tomato sauce. Also, when neighbours have their TV on you can hear everything so for light sleepers this would be a big downside too.
The only benefit of this hotel is the location, which is in the middle of the city center.
It is that it was included in a booked tour to stay here, but I’d definitely not recommend this hotel.

A lovely family hotel. Very friendly atmosphere. The whole town was great, and all of us on tour went away with great memories. The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. The night-life provided some nice restaurants, and dancing venues.

We stayed a week in this magnificient, luxurious and welcoming Famissi Eden Hotel at the new hotel wth 9 apartaments. The location half way to the Meteora, the view of Meteora in one side and the beautiful sunsets over Pineios River Valley give this place an added value that can rarely be found in other hotels. The elegant and spacious Deluxe rooms of our apartment #504 were designed to exceed our expectations. The friendly staff, delicious food, cristal clear pool filled with comfortable shezlongs and umbrellas are a bonus. I will definately recommend this hotel to all my friends as a delightful place on earth, the authentic embodiment of the name Eden.

The hotel is a cab ride from town . Offers breakfast and a buffet dinner, no lunch . Be prepared to come into town . Cab was 4 €. It is a place to stay but nothing fancy. I would not rate it 4 stars. Wine selection was very basic. There are two little chapels on the back of the property that are very nice.

I stayed at the Famissi Eden Hotel one night. The staff is helpful and kind. The room was clean (except for a slipper that wasn't ours left under a table... the room had a view of the garden with swimming pool, clean bathroom but unfortunately the shower glass didn't close completely. Rich dinner, not excellent but suitable. I would go back !

The hotel presents itself well, has pleasant surroundings but is poor in the quality of the rooms and especially in the bathrooms which need to be renovated. Furthermore, breakfast offers poor quality drinks and little choice for unsalted breakfasts. Cleanliness is also just enough.
