The room description on their website is incredibly misleading. The confirmation email had me looking forward to a luxurious stay, specifically mentioning a room with a “bathtub with hydro massage.” That was the whole reason I booked the more expensive option! But when I arrived, there was no tub at all. When I asked about it, I was told that not all suites come with tubs—completely contradicting what their site advertised.
Their "solution"? They offered me a room upgrade but wanted to charge me the cost difference. And to top it off, the upgraded room didn’t even have the hydro massage tub either! For $150 a night, the room was shockingly basic, nowhere near the level of comfort or luxury you’d expect at that price.
That being said, the breakfast was the saving grace—varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The location was also fantastic, just a two-minute walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. And kudos to the bartender, who made some lovely drinks.
However, the room itself was far from what was promised, and I left feeling overcharged and underwhelmed.

We are very grateful to the hotel staff for their care and hospitality. The service was excellent, the rooms were cozy and spacious, and the breakfasts were delicious. Everything was comfortable and convenient. We had an amazing vacation at Hotel Anassa.

The hotel is perfect. It’s very close to the beach but in a quiet street. Breakfast was great with savory and sweet goods. Room was clean and big with a little kitchen and balcony. However, the best part of the hotel is the service. Workers are nice, helpful, friendly…you will feel in a family. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice small, elegant hotel close to the sea but far enough from the noise of the bars. The manager is extra kind and gave all the suggestions for my 3 day visit to the island. Extra big room recently renovated with airy and bright spaces. There is a nice pool which turned out to be the best way to chill out after a day around the island.

This hotel is perfectly positioned close to the beach, restaurants, pharmacies, rentals, supermarkets etc
The staff are beyond helpful and super friendly.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious.
I will recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Santorini.

Stayed 1st week in September! Hotel immaculate,staff brilliant! Could not do enough for you and situated just off the front ! Ideal location. Would definitely stay there again!👍

Had a truly amazing stay. Great staff. Organised trips etc. we stayed in honeymoon suite. Spacious and luxurious. Cannot recommend enough. Clean and fresh

First of all, shoutout to the amazing staff at Hotel Anassa, especially Vicky! My sister and I stayed in this little paradise spot for 7 nights and every day was amazing. The hotel is close to everything, from food spots to activity centres to help you plan out your holiday in Santorini! Vicky provided us with a bus schedule that showed the main routes which made visiting popular areas easy. The pool is amazing, the rooms are spacious with balconies and air conditioning! Breakfast is a must as the hotel have a good selection. I'd highly recommend staying here for such excellent service and standards. Had the perfect holiday 🥰

We've really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Anassa.
We are a family of 4 adults, who really appreciated the ability to comfortably stay 4 persons in the apartment, without things being too crowded.
The rooms are so nice & clean & all details are looked after & thought through.
The staff is so well trained & each & every one of them are going out of the way to give personal & nice service.
The pool area is small, but very well maintained & the pool is clean & attractive.
We stayed for 10 days & we all used the well equipped gym every day, during the hottest hours outside.
Breakfast is plentiful & nice, whole restocked with a smile, also last moment.
It's very difficult to find anything not perfect at Anassa.
One thing I wouldn't mind done next time I come on holiday would be an outside pool shower, as the only available shower is near the gym & some people aren't using it before using the pool.
