Where to start… my honest and comprehensive review of Hotel Makarios where I stayed for a week a few weeks ago. The Good: The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and tidily maintained. Fantastic hotel experience! We were greeted with an incredibly nice welcome, and the receptionist was absolutely fantastic - very nice, helpful and professional. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The whole stay was made even better by her service attitude. A little noisy because the airport was quite close but we can really recommend this hotel and will be back!

It's convenient to drive here, and the price/performance ratio is high, but the breakfast is quite poor, and the coffee doesn't even taste like coffee.

The restaurant was great, and had a great location, so we moved hotels. Very happy with the location. 4 Stars is a great score from me. We will stay again.

It was a lovely stay, nice breakfast. Rooms ok, comfortable. Nice shower, the cleaners come everyday can't fault it. Lovely bar area where we had drinks and occasionally had food too. Just spent 2 weeks in Terra blue, the place is wonderful. The staff who work there are amazing, Vangelis, Maria and all the terra blue family are so welcoming and kind. My partner had his birthday during our second week and they organised a surprise fresh chocolate cake for him with sparklers, it was very special. Great little hotel up near the path to ancient Thira and a short walk to the beach, restaurants and transit. Staff were very kind and friendly and breakfast was wonderful - thank you Maria. From the time we checked in till the time we checked out, the gentleman at the front desk was always there for us. Supplying everything from sunscreen to mayonnaise. The location is a bit out of the way, but the facilities and everything were good. The view was good and the rooms were spacious, so it was good value for money.

The property not only its well located in the middle of the Kamira. In addition, it's closed to the beach with all sort of restaurants and shops walkable. All the staff (Receptionists, breakfast, Chambermaids) are all marvellous. Very kind and welcomers.

A lovely small hotel in a convenient area for shops, restaurants and sea front. We had 2 deluxe rooms which were nice.The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I really appreciated that they got in gluten free bread for me. The pool was quite large and very clean, with toilets and bar.

We had a lovely holiday at the Alehsanhe beach hotel. Nicely positioned on the edge of the beach with its own stretch as well as two medium sized pools. The staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are nice with plenty of storage. Very close to restaurants.

Just back after 12 nights here. I just want to start by challenging other reviews about the staff. We found the staff wonderful. They were/are friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and very very hard working. They work long shifts day after day - whether that’s reception, bar/beach or breakfast. A small but very good hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Maria and Zykos. Very close to the beach. You can get drinks and food on the sunbeds. The food was amazing. Location on the boardwalk was great,check smooth, they didnt receive an email via bookings.com regarding my neck and back surgery requiring me to carry a custom $200.00 pillow and firm mattress from the hotel with minimal stairs, Room was on second floor,, problem, hotel manager was so helping and accommodating,switched rooms to main floor in a matter of minutes , extra blankets towels no problem...

The reception staff were lovely and very welcoming. As soon as we checked in we were given lots of information - ie how to hire a car/bike. Perfect location near the beach, tavern and bars. Beautiful garden inside. Good breakfast. Economy room is very basic (but for that price it doesn't matter) so I recommend standard ones. Overal we love it :-)

Its cute, quaint and a one minute walk to board walk with all beach side restaurants. The area is inexpensive, every restaurant offers a 2 person seafood meal with bottle of wine for under 30 Euros. Perfect choice to visit Santorini. The hotel is situated in perfect position, near the beach (about 30 metres), market, restaurants and bus station. The room is very Clean and with all comfort. Akis and Irini are extremily kind. I suggest Akis hotel, of course!

Absolutely amazing, location was perfect for us as its a 10 walk to the beach. Just back from lovely week in Greece. Absolutely impressed about hotel. Don't look at "stars". Yes, there is only three stars but you will feel so nice welcome, all staff so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our time in Mykonos at the Adonis Hotel..We were picked up at the airport and made to feel like family from the start to the end of our stay. The cook cooks up a amazing breakfast. Homely palace near kamari beach. We enjoyed our stay here. The host were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was served every morning. The place is near airport so you can see ton of planes landing everyday.

I had a fantastic stay here the rooms are very clean and it's located in a great location. The staff is so helpful and friendly. My charger stopped working and in the middle of the night the girl searched all over the place and tried at least 5 different kinds just to get me sorted out. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Oia and fira is not that far and very easy to get to.

Very kind and warm, helpful and interested in what you need / ask / want. The hotel is very clean, beautiful and situated in a very quiet part of the city which was great for us. We walked 10-15 minutes to almost every important point of Kamari, so everything is close. Very close to the black beach. One of the best price - quality ratio.

The hosts were really nice, we asked for a transport to the airport, the fixed it even though we needed it 2 am. They fixed rooms we could store our luggage in and changing rooms so we could shower after the pool. It is near the beach, nice room, good pool!

Recently renovated, walking distance to the Black beach, small but nice pool area and close to the airport, which is good for travelling and we were not too bothered by the air traffic noise (however, others may be)

Very nice and clean location. The Alkyon family makes everything to pleases their clients. Rooms are cleaned every day and the pool is amazing (pool is having jacuzzi too). Breakfast is also very good.

A great value for money hotel run by a lovely family - the rooms are spacious, air conditioned and super clean. Breakfast is generous with lots of local produce and the staff are really friendly. Kamari town is a short walk away and 5 mins from the airport. We love it and go back every year!

First of all, this holiday was terrific 👏 the hotel was spotless and the staff friendly. The biggest letdown was the pool. There are too many sunloungers for such a small pool, and the dining area is far too small. Excelent value. Rooms are good and roomy clean and well kept, breakfast is standard but always fresh staff are Lovely. It's close to the airport planes do fly over when landing but it's not constant, didn't disturb my stay. Its back from the strip which is good so quiet and a short walk to beach. Only negative getting a sunbed by the pool, you have to get down early otherwise all gone by 8.30.

Kamari beach and red beach is near Breakfast was lovely. Pastries both hot and cold. Ham and cheese. Lovely fresh bread. Fruit and yogurt. Juices. All lovely. Great selection. Room lovely. My partner and I had a wonderful time in the grand suite. The jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing for the sunrise. We were lucky to have Rita and Tatiana to help us and they were both more than helpful in any advice or helping with requirements for what we needed. Would definitely stay there again. Regards Dan

Our experience (girls' trip) was amazing. Tatiana was super helpful with everything, especially arrange transportation to various places and on point text communication. She is a gem. The outdoor space is breathtaking. Disliked the frosted glass bathroom door that lit up the room when someone gets up in the middle of the night, but other than that, our stay was perfect.

The most beautiful hotel I've ever been to! Colleagues from the Hotel are very nice, the rooms are clean, I had a bottle of wine from the house. in the last evening, I also received two cocktails in the room, wonderful people!! the area is very good, the beach is clean and close to the hotel, I recommend, and we will come here again.

LOVED this place! It was our saving grace after a terrible Airbnb experience that left us with nowhere to stay. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. It's very close to the airport and they will pick you up at the airport for free! The owner is a very friendly and kind person, and he gives you ice cream and asks you if you need anything. The pool is beautiful and it's close to the sea, so it's the best hotel!!

Very special feeling. Although in the countryside, it is very convenient to go everywhere. The kind landlord Mr. Ilias will pick up guests from the airport and take them to the bus station every day. Take a 20-minute bus to Fira Town. With Fira Town as the center, there are various buses to Eia Town and the red and black sand beaches. The B&B has a beautiful garden and a simple owner.
