Hotel Summer Dream in Kamari

We were 6 people on vacation together and had booked 3 rooms with a view of the pool at the lovely hotel Summer Dream. The hotel is nice and cozy with about 15-20 rooms. It is wonderfully peaceful here and it is easy to find a place by the pool, in the lovely sun loungers or in a hammock. The pool is not that big, but there is plenty of room to swim and cool off during the day. There is also a shower and toilets right by the pool area. There is a pool bar with drinks, snacks etc. at reasonable prices. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the beach down a quiet, traffic-free road. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the airport, and when you arrive by taxi you have to walk 2-3 minutes with your luggage to arrive at the hotel. No problem. Near the hotel there are also several small supermarkets, the possibility of renting a car or scooter, lots of bars and restaurants - either on the beach promenade or a little up in town. Everything is neat and well maintained, and appears very beautiful and aesthetic. We also felt very safe when we were out in the evening. The rooms are nice, well-maintained and clean. The cleaning is good, and everyone at the hotel is helpful. The two sweet girls who looked after the reception during the day were always welcoming and smiling, and were happy to make good suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc. They also offered to help with a taxi back to the airport. Breakfast was prepared and served on a tray for each person, who could either choose to take it up to their room or sit in the large room near the kitchen. Breakfast typically consisted of sliced ​​bread, yogurt, jam, honey, fruit, cheese, sausage, vegetable, as well as coffee/tea, water and juice. We had to get used to the type of service where you don't choose what is served to you, like you do with a buffet. However, there were variations every day, and we were well-fed. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to stay at the Summer Dream hotel. It fully met our expectations - and we had a wonderful holiday. You get great value for money.

Wonderful little family hotel where the staff are very kind and service-minded. Rooms were nice and clean, with cleaning every day. Bathroom a bit small. Pool area small but pleasant and appropriately sized in relation to the size on hotel. There was no problem getting a place on the sunbeds. Pool bar served refreshments and simple food which was reasonably priced. Breakfast served at the table in abundance. Great location in the village, close to the beach and restaurants. All in all an excellent place to stay, with the extraordinary staff showing true Greek hospitality!

A family driven hotel in the center of Kamari. We have stayed here for many, many years now because of the ownwers' hospitality, kindness and warmhearted minds. Do you want peace and the feeling of being at home you shall chose this hotel. The breakfast gives you alle that you need with variations from day to day. The cleaning is in top with new towels and bedlinen several times a week and the service is on a very high level. The pool area is peaceful with lots of sunbeds both in the shade and in the sun - there is always a possibility to chose what is best for you. Three minutes to the beach and five minutes to the bus to take trips around beautiful Santorini. Stay there and you'll find that you will have the best holiday ever.

Literally 2 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from the village center on a very quiet alley away from the noise. The rooms are very clean, specious and well equipped with excellent sound proofing! The pool is hidden in the back and offers full privacy. The staff members have been helpful and accommodating (Artemis thank you for everything!). It was our second stay here and we are definitely coming back! 5/5 Highly recommend!!

it’s very well located. room was very clean and smelling good all the two days we have been there. breakfast for $10 was delicious. reserve it a day before. staff was awesome. Thank you Alexandra. There are no parking lot there. Bathroom is a little tiny for me but my wife loved it. I really recommend it.

It's a family driven hotel. All the staf is very friendly and serviceminded. It's situated at a calm small road in the very center of Kamari, You only need a few minutes to the shops, the bus, the many restautans, and the beah. For 10 Euros you'll get the best breakfast and then be ready for your day on Santorini. The hotel is very clean, the rooms have air con and a fridge and all a nice atmosphere and balconys. The pool area is calm with many sunbeds and palm trees to give shadow if you prefer to get out of the sun, too The pool bar is well equipped with drinks and light meals. We have stayed there for many years, and will certantly come back next year. It's our home in Kamari!

Staff were exceptional. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The staff could not do enough for us. Cleaning was exceptional. Everything was spotless. Room was a small compared to the rooms advertised and and the beds not the most comfortable. However our only real issue with the hotel was the location of the room. Our room (16) was right beside the dining room for breakfast and reception. You could hear EVERYTHING. The seal on the door was non existent and it allowed all noise and light into the room. The manager advised that she would look to rectify this for next season. Otherwise the hotel is in a great location. 2 minutes walk to the beach. Nice little pool bar open until 7 each evening. The hotel is reasonably priced.
