We had a lovely experience in the epavlis hotel,Starting by the hospitality of the reception going to the room the view at our room was amazing breakfast was delicious and it had variety for vegans as well one of the best part is the location only 3 minutes to go to the kamari beach,very helpful reception who explained the island and helping us renting a car or motorcycle or excursions as well

We stayed at the Epavlis at the end of July 2024, the hotel location is stunning, near the sea and the Ancient Thera. The pool is really good and has a really nice view on the mountains

The room was clean and pretty good overall, nothing special. The structure itself is really nice, fits perfectly with the location

Lovely and clean hotel over looking the sea & swimming pool. Some of the rooms has a private pool as well. It does include some stairs to climb. I did notice some elder couples having a difficult time to climb

Spyros hosted us as if we were his family no less, the place was so clean and shiny, perfect breakfast, nice pool and all this does not even start to discrib the best time we had! We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone!!!👍👍👍

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Such a warm, family feel which is true, honest and humble. It's not "5 star" in your traditional sense but it's immaculate in service and well up there

We stayed at hippocampus from 9th to 16th if July. The rooms and the whole structure are delicious. Position is perfect work, in the best part of Kamari. We felt like home with our hosts being so kind all the time.

The family that run it make this 6 star in my opinion. Such lovely people and even the cleaners would meet you with a smile and a "good morning" - it felt perfect. The pools and recent work ARE 5 star

She didn’t need to do this as we weren’t her guests, but clearly took pity on the exhausted looking pregnant lady 😅 the hotel looks beautiful from the outside and was so friendly

Just back from Santorini, we had an excellent stay at the Costa Grand. The hotel is very well located, and so clean! It's just perfect. The staff are very helpful especially the front desk employees

The restaurant is overlooking the beach and sea which is just perfect. The food has been really good , breakfast buffet has lots of choice, hot and cold food , fruit and pastries

Breakfast is included and is pretty good. The main restaurant is overpriced and the food is not great. The tours offered by the hotel are a lot more expensive than going through a travel company from my experience

Sometimes the landing direction is switched so it’s not as noisy. This didn’t bother me, but there was some locusts outside the door which made a lot of noise which kept me up the first night and I had to use earplugs

This is the most beautiful hotel !!! The rooms are very comfortable , clean and we had a wonderful sea view. The whole complex is spotlessly clean and a pleasure to walk around

We didn't find this disturbing at all , they do fly low , however don't let that put you off coming to visit this stunning hotel! Perfect stay!

We spent a week in august, really enjoyed our stay, family run with many returning guests, (always a good sign) great views nice pool area , though not enough sunbeds, attentive friendly staff, great location.

We visited last Sunday and had a fantastic time. Staff were so friendly and the food was incredible. Also, amazing entertainment, we will definitely return!

Comfortable & spacious rooms & one of the best hotel bathrooms I’ve ever had. This is a simple, family run hotel, so forget marble hallways & glitzy decor. This is Greek comfort at its uncomplicated best

We had a great room with our own little balcony and the breakfast served every morning was excellent! My only recommendation would be to have fresh towels ready in the rooms every day

Didn’t stay in apartments but my favourite bar. The staff are all friendly and accommodating and serve drinks at your sunbed on the beach, and the lunch was always well presented and tasty

The beach is a few minutes walk and you can also get the view of the sea from the property itself. The swimming pool was amazing and the pool water quality was good

Very quiet so perfect if you want relax. Room with balcony could be more modern, nice view, ac, daily cleaning. Hotel not too far (12 min walk) from the beach, shops, restaurants. George with family was very helpful

Located in a 6minute walk from Kamari terminal bus stop to Fira. Around the bus stop,it has good restaurants loved by locals. Good atmosphere with a beautiful mountain and away from city noise

Overall I give this hotel 5* which is a family run business. My score is based on the price paid, very. Lean, good location, friendly staff, good breakfast. We had our room cleaned everyday

Staff have been wonderful and the food has been decent. The pool area is fantastic and probably one of the best on the island. Bedrooms are adequate. Would recommend going full board to save money.

If that wasn't enough, the shower water temperature was impossible to adjust. Came on full 200° C or at least it's how it felt. Not a good scenario if you're sun burnt and want to cool off

I got a standard room in this 5 star resort like hotel which in all fairness should be just as good as an executive one - minus the Jacuzzi and other amenities I can do without

An honest review is hard to make if you find it hard not to please everyone. You enter this place and get taken aback with the visual opulence this place can bestow upon you

At least the comfort has to start somewhere right? Who in the 21st century ( and for the steep price for this place nonetheless) , has beds with separated mattresses? You always fall in between, wake up to push it into place, and try to get some sleep by not moving

The hotel location is good and close to restaurants and the beach. The facilities however were average and not 5 star. The thing that made the stay good was the staff, everyone was super friendly

Our first time in Santorini, staying on the black pebble beach gave us the best of all worlds: ocean views, seaside strolls, dining and shops while Fira, the Three Bells, historic cathedrals and more were only a 15 minute transfer

Perfect place for a family stay in Santorin. Hotel very clean with nice pool and large bedrooms (we had a family-bedroom with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom). 2 min by foot to tavernas and 5 min to beach

Our rooms were small but we managed- the whole idea is to only be in there for sleeping if your on vacation in Santorini. Highly recommend- not too far from the strip but just far enough

This hotel is just perfect- next to the beach and bus stop. We got out private Jacuzzi and we enjoy it a lot. The room was big and cleaned everyday. The most we liked the people there- very kind and helpful

Breakfast is more than great for a 7-10 long stay, and you have plenty of options to choose from for dinner (there are multiple seafood and fish options, which we loved)

You will love staying here! The location is superb, a 12 minute cab ride from the airport, and the hotel is located right on Kamari beach

You must opt for the half board as the food and service was excellent! Delicious food and kind, professional and always attentive waiters and waitresses

It is located on the main beach with a long promenade, so you find any kinds of shops and restaurants if needed
