The only thing I can come up with on my wishlist here would be some more closet space to unpack your luggage. The team was so helpful and kind, the private pool is pretty big, and the location is both peaceful and only 5 minutes walk away from the main boardwalk of the beach. We stayed at hippocampus from 9th to 16th if July. The rooms and the whole structure are delicious. Position is perfect work, in the best part of Kamari. We felt like home with our hosts being so kind all the time.

We stayed in room 104 for a week where we had an amazing time. It was calm and quiet with a perfect view on the back pool. All receptionist ladies were ever so kind and helpful. Also the lovely man behind the bar makes very delicious cocktails, dont miss it! (Hippo- jippo was our favorite one). A reasonably priced with a fabulous location and very attentive staff. The owners made us feel like family. Kamari had a laid back vibe and the hotel offers free shaded lounge chairs on the beach with waiter service.

I had a wonderful stay when I was in Kamari! Accommodations were always clean and the food was delicious! As a travel agent I would 100% recommended any of my members to stay here when they visit Santorini. Amazing location and amazing employees. Simple and easy to check in and out and the beach was amazing. All and all a incredible experience.

Pros: - hotel sits right on a quiet beach by day. The sun chairs were free when we went though you probably need to order a drink or something in return. - the outdoor areas were quite well maintained and care is obviously taken. - wifi in the rooms - staff spoke English - you are away from Thira which is a massive tourist trap and honestly overrated.
