Sirios Village Hotel & Bungalows - All Inclusive

Nice hotel with good rooms and a good restaurant/bar. The pool area is okay, but it is very difficult to get a sunbed as the hotel allows people to reserve them by putting a towel down. It is located a bit away from the town but close to the beach.

Our room when we got there had an ant infestation, had to change room. Had to pack our cases again after unpacking!!! The room we were given was too small. The shower tray was too small. Shower curtain was hooked to metal rods that swung from side to side, weird, so when having a shower the whole room flooded. Very dangerous. Badly designed. Could hardly get past the toilet because the sink surround was in the way. Not enough storage in the room, nowhere to put luggage. TV was too small and should be on the wall out of the way. Aircon did not cool the room, had to keep putting turbo mode on because it kept turning itself off. Hairdryer was inadequate, not enough power. The beds kept sliding away from the wall. Too crowded around pools areas. Not enough toilets for amount of visitors in the pool area. The toilets off the communal area, down the stairs, had only 2 ladies and 2 gents toilets and were constantly soaking, VERY dangerous. Food very nice and the staff were very nice. Lovely reception area and staff there were very helpful.

+ The selection was exceptionally large, but there was very little selection of food that was gluten-free.

Not the best, not the worst... But decent one.. Quite clean, staff nice and friendly, good wine served for the most of the day. Close to the very nice beach spots and to Chania- walking distance most of the time by the beach. To sum up - pretty nice place to stay
