Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. Friendly staff. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week. Don't miss that. Cons: The beds are a bit to hard for me, as I could feel the springs into my skinny back.

FANTASIC SUITES! Really minimalist technology suites with jacuzzi inside. They are fantastic and very beautiful, and the receptionist is very pleasant and smiling. Rooms that have Alexa and make the mood in seconds!

Absolutely awesome place. Very responsive and friendly staff. Varied cuisine. The sea is nearby, however, you need strong legs to climb from the sea to the central building :). I strongly recommend it.

It was nice but not a 5* resort as their website suggested. Also the all inclusive is limited bar choices and food. You can only dine at the Italian or Chinese one of the nights during a week long stay.

Nice spacious rooms, good food. Not enough waiting Staff, Kids playground indoor and outdoor old/broken. Not enough sunbeds on the beach. A la carte restaurant serves food from the Buffet.

Excellent facilities , nice room, nice location, nice food! The only problem was that some people that work there were very unhelpful! I should ask for something 10 times before I could see results! The only people that knew their job was Eirini at the reception, Kwstas at the restaurant and the boys at the pool bar. The other employers didn’t know their job.

With its lovely views of the ocean and sun umbrellas up, we pulled in for a coffee and a break - alas, there is no provision for a coffee and or a drink outside of meal times. The lady in the dinning room was apologetic but couldn't help. Place appeared clean and tidy - albeit that this was early in the season.

We were there in 2016, before renovation. Hotel is very clean and regularly cleaned up. Private suites with pool are awesome!!! When Main pool is closed you can calm swim in yours pool, even on midnight (it's worth try :) ) During the eight days of the stay, themed evenings with the cuisine of various regions were organizerd. The hotel has a well-stocked shop with a wide range of assortment.

Very nice new hotel right on the beach with a very friendly staff. We enjoyed a week of relaxation, good food and time at the pool. The beach is long and sea turtles are nesting there. It is not the biggest hotel but have all what you need to wind down on your time away.

Location is great (directly on the beach with beautiful sunsets) the hotel is newly refurbished with lovely décor and high quality furnishing. This is a really beautiful resort! We went in the end of the season, few days before the hotel closure, yet they managed to provide the full experience! I would highly recommend the Domus Renier in Chania, Crete. We hopped locations at the last minute due to the weather, and we are so glad we did. The location was perfect, we were walking distance from everything we needed. It was very clean and hotel is beautiful. The views from the room were incredible. Serenissima is the perfect location for couples traveling in Crete. It has fabulous, warm and friendly staff, is well located for walking in Chania, beautiful and comfortable with delicious food.

This hotel is the place to stay in Crete. The ambience is perfect, the staff (very knowledgeable about Crete and what to do) and service are amazing, the location is great and the food (especially breakfasts) are second to none. I cannot recommend Serenissima highly enough. We definitely want to come back here. Loved the huge tub in our room, perfect for a soak after a long day of hiking and swimming

Four dreamed nights in Serenissima is just an unforgettable experience. High aesthetics with respect to the local architecture, great service and location. We had a great experience here. Our room overlooked the water and lighthouse. The design and functionality of the room is incredible. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is central and great. Overall, we really loved our stay.

We stayed one night at this upscale hotel, right on the old Venetian port. The room wasn't huge but very cozy and elegant, the personnel extremely nice and helpful, the WiFi connection good, the location perfect.

We stayed in History! The original stonework was kept when rebuilt. Stayed in the mosaic suite, absolutely stunning, big shower, very comfortable bed ( queen +) Double glazed windows so you don't hear the night life. Restaurant underneath for breakfast which was full breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, eggs, salmon, everything you could need. Staff friendly & caring, full of helpful local places....

Ideal location, very good place, but not worth the extremely high price. Very good service, rooms are spacious and nice, but a couple of things didn’t work well. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Would be 4-5 stars if not quite so expensive.

Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book. Some rooms are a nice size with a Seaview. Others are small or dark. When you turn on the bathroom light at night the entire room lights up. Also, you have to walk with suitcases to the city gate across cobble stones

Located in the old town harbour, you can not be closer to the harbour, without your own ship. Located directly overlooking the water. The suites with terrace has sunbeds, the suites further down has balconies with room for two chairs overlooking the harbour action. Great doors n windows shut out the noice from the restaurants below when you want down time. 5-6 meters to the ceiling creates an awesome...

Into the Old Harbour area, by the sea side, an ideal place to spend one's holidays. Easy access to restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and are showered by the sun-light. Top class!!!
