Pools are very cold apart from one which is heated. Beach is on the doorstep but you have to pay for the beds and drinks. If you’re a white wine drinker, find something else, it’s not nice

however we did receive a free upgrade to a room with a pool. Not sure if that was due to Platanias closing down for the season or if it's just how the hotel runs

The sea-view rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette. Their terraces open onto the hotel's beach or a small fishing port. There are also rooms overlooking the pools or the main road or in quieter corners of the hotel

The menu is vast, and available on every table at the pool bar. One downside, if you are AI, you cannot drink at the bar inside which i find ridiculous

We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season

Hotel guests also have access to a moderately equipped fitness room and a spa area available for a fee. We spent a very pleasant week in the off-season at the hotel

Stayed 6 nights in a pool view room which we were upgraded to. Had a beautiful view from the 2nd floor. The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent

I especially appreciated the multiple swimming pools with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Was here for the second time and was impressed again: beautiful and clean facility, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice features such as guest gifts and cocktail vouchers. Gladly again!

Was fresh every morning and had a very large variety of hot and cold dishes and sweets. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay in a beautiful property

We got the room at the lowest ground which was a bit dark but travelling with a toddler was very handy as we weren’t woken up at the sunrise 😅 and the bushes around the balcony (we complained about them at first) turned out to be very handy at evenings when we sat there during heavy wind

We still could enjoy the quiet evening there without freezing. Rooms are fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker fridge freezer and table for 4 ppl. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels

Starting from reception, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were offered to leave baggage’s at the reception and stuff will take them to the room

Very happy my first holiday in years. I took a long time scanning the Internet for a destination and I chose this 👌 I must say I was happy. Jet2 were fantastic and I will use them again also

We spent some holidays in a past years in a hotels better and worst and we had some sort of level of everything that we didn’t want go lower

The main point - food was absolutely amazing! There was nothing we didn’t like and we are picky eaters. Loads of choices from meat, fish, veggie, and seasoned perfectly. The local corner was our favourite

The Food was good. The waiters are very kind. The rooms are clean. The Cocktails could be improved. Many Pools didn’t use one though…. Beach is nice. All inclusive was worth it.

Food was good , and a very good choice. Nice pool area , only a handful of people reserving sun beds by the pool , no issue getting a sun bed up to 11. The beach sun loungers are absolutely filthy, torn and tatty

Beach towels are only allowed to be changed every 3 days between 10 am- 4pm. With no exceptions , We had been out on an excursion all day came back at 5

Everything is on site making it perfect for those who are willing just to chill: there's a shop, a pool, sauna and SPA

Nice hotel with good rooms and a good restaurant/bar. The pool area is okay, but it is very difficult to get a sunbed as the hotel allows people to reserve them by putting a towel down

Quite clean, staff nice and friendly, good wine served for the most of the day. Close to the very nice beach spots and to Chania- walking distance most of the time by the beach. To sum up - pretty nice place to stay

Hairdryer was inadequate, not enough power. The beds kept sliding away from the wall. Too crowded around pools areas. Not enough toilets for amount of visitors in the pool area

Amazing hotel for families. The new rooms look great. Stayed in a 3-room apt. Very spacious and huge balcony. We’re definitely coming back. Playground is pretty cool and was a favourite amongst our kids.

Welcome drink on arrival and a voucher for a free drink at the bar also. Pool area is relaxed and there are loungers on beach and round the pool so best of both options. Rooms are clean and comfortable

Also a ironing board and iron so one could get wrinkels out of the shirts. Breakfast was superb and a good variety to choose from, all with an magnificent seaview and friendly considerate staff

Our stay here was for our “Mini-moon” a short stay away after we got married, which we were accommodated for, had some lovely welcoming gifts and some chocolates, flowers and love heart roses on the bed

There was an outdoor gym area also located by Topos which I didn’t get to use but the equipment looked decent. It was sporadic once you stepped outside your room even on the private terrace

This is our third visit to a Domes resort. All visits have been in luxurious facilities, in private areas. Which is what we wanted in our visits

The food at Domes Chania was excellent for all meals, but Dinner was outstanding

The sunbeds on the grassy area by the pool were very much in demand every day, but we preferred the beach anyway (coarse sand and rocky when you go into the sea so take beach shoes!) Everywhere was very clean and tidy, a well-looked after hotel

Back for a 2nd year and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in one of the sea view rooms again (#500 row) which gives you a view of the pool, sea and bar, and even though the hotel is quite compact it isn’t noisy

All the staff are very welcoming and attentive; a special mention goes to Klapsas the cat for keeping us entertained at breakfast! Bar area and Ouzaki beach restaurant are lovely to have lunch in, the bar has a nice vibe in the evening

However, the hotel is in such a great location you can walk out onto the main street and take your pick of great restaurants and bars in the area; either away from the main street or along the beach front

The pool bar made excellent cocktails and Manos's cocktails are far the best ! The Thalassa is in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance

We explored more of Aghia Marina this time (left out of hotel), Platanias is to the right and a lot busier. Beautiful Chania is an easy bus ride away and well worth a visit

But the beach wasn’t the best all days because some days we couldn’t even swim in the sea because it was to much waves but I get it why we weren’t allowed to swim. It was a little bit sad but it’s okay

Our stay was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The private swimming pool was amazing and the whole place felt peaceful. Both the room and shared spaces were very clean

The hotel over all was very good! To start with was the pool very clean and big and they have a kid’s pool in the normal pool so that was good for the small kids

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, from savory to sweet

This hotel mostly is for vacation at the pool. This hotel have 2 pools and close by acces to the beach. If you book this hotel be ready to pay extra for AC 12 € per night. Pay extra for beach sunbed 8€ per bed

Excellent food in the restaurant, a lot of dietary dishes for children, a variety of the diet were changed every day. Two nice pools with sea views. All the amenities in a walking distance. Will definitely go here again!

Perfect place for a family holiday, the hotel on the first line, 20 meters from the beautiful sea, the magnificent sandy beach

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water

The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

Beach is as close to the hotel it can be and is quite rocky the first 2-3 meters in the water. It gets deep very fast so be careful if you children

We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which were lovely and clean and very nicely refurbished. The pool area and beach were lovely but we didn't have time to use these facilities

You can sit where you want for breakfast, unlike Porto Platanias. Great breakfast that you can take to the seaside. Two large rooms, including kitchenette, two air conditioners, balcony

Superior room was really nice and had perfect beds. Even the extra bed in the room was really comfortable. Room was very clean and has a good air condition. And so were pool bar with snack and drinks

6 Two TVs -- one large TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. The only con I list is that the parking is a small dirt road, which gets your car very dusty and dirty

Also very friendly staff there. The pool area was clean and nice. The location was perfect and near everything (bus station, mini train station, restaurants, Agia Marina and Platanias)

Very nice hotel! It's like a thirty second walk to the beach. If you don't like the swimming in the sea, there is also a very nice pool at the hotel. Water is a bit cold but very nice on hot days

Like 50 meters from the hotel is a busstop wich will bring you to Chania Centre in like 20 minutes. The only downside I could find for the hotel was that the mattresses were a bit hard

Pool is super, the sea is in a 5 min walk distance, bus stop, supermarkets, tavernas are near

Close to the hotel is realy good sand beach with nice beach bar

The guy did come most days to measure the chemical levels but not much was done to clean the pool. But when you’re in the pool you can see and feel a lot of black between the tiles

First of all our room was upgraded. It’s connected to the beach so you can choose the pool or the sea

The breakfast area is lovely next to the pool or the roof terrace which over looks the beach, it’s a nice way to start off the day. It’s just off the Main Street but is so quiet. The staff can’t do enough for you

We just spend 2 weeks at the hotel the staff was absolutely amazing and so friendly Stella, Katarina at the bar and at the restaurant was so kind all the other waiter was amazing the cleaning staff EVERYBODY WAS so kind, the hotel is close to the beach and there is so many shops I will definitely recommend this place and see u all soon again

Nice and clean. Decent morning buffet. All inclusive not worth it. Close to a myriad of decently priced restaurants with everything from burgers to local Greek cousine. Friendly staff and right at the beach.

Pleasant "on the beach" location, and a fine Hotel. No disturbing traffic or nightlife. Close to the shops at the city center.

Very close to 3 beaches and a bus stop that leads to Chania. Food was wonderful and staff is very kind and friendly. Rooms are small but they have everything you need. For the price you pay you get a great deal

Friendly and service minded staff. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but fine compared to other places on Crete. Ok Continental breakfast with little specialities. Dinner buffet was fine but not amazing

You will eat better at the local restaurant or in Chania. It’s possible to walk to Chania aprox. Agia apostoli is a fine base for exploring Chania and north/west Crete

A family-run, friendly small but very nice hotel. The view of the beach and the small island opposite the hotel was priceless. The staff was very friendly but also busy trying to please everyone

In the hotel pool bar food was really good and price are cheap. Comparing quality and price it was good choise we enjoied our holiday and would like to come back hire

Our room was good for two girls. Breakfast was very simple and there wasn’t lot of things to eat. It was amazing how close the beach is because you can hear the waves to your room

At the pool area is also a small pool for children (40 cm). The hotel is on the beach but close to main street with shops and restaurants, also there are free parking slots

The hotel is located at the beach, with a private pool close to the bar. The staff was absolutely amazing and super kind. The only "drawback" was that the poolbar was a little bit expensive

Only negatives is the fact that there are very limited sunbeds and one morning at breakfast we were completely forgotten about and didn’t receive service until 30 minutes after we had been seated

Stayed here first two weeks in June. Absolutely first class accommodation literally steps away from the beach. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a very enjoyable one. Highly recommend 👌

Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well

We didn't use it as we always prefer the beach, that's a personal choice. We were treated very well by the staff and it was nice and quiet. We were satisfied with the price and what we got for it aswell

5 minutes from the beach. 6 minute bus ride or a 40 minute Wallin along the beach to get to Chania Old Town - location was great for us.

In summary, we had a taste of Greek hospitality where the communication is like talking to distant family members. The location is 10 mins away from Chania with a car, 15 with a bus and 35 by walking

The beaches nearby were probably the best we saw near Chania and there are several good taverns. The pool was big enough and there's plenty of sunbeds around. The garden is massive and very well maintained

U could take the bus to get everywhere, bit to Chania City we always took a Taxi, it’s about 10 mins drive and costs only 10€! We really loved the Pool area and we highly recommend the Pizza at the Poolbar! It was better than the ones u get in the pizza places :D (-) We would’ve liked some Pingpong/Pool Table at the Pool area !

Surrounded by olives, bougainvillea and other lovely Cretean trees and plants. Located just a 5 minutes walk to the sea and adjacent to the the best restaurant in Chania, the Sterna
