The food was delicious for any meal and snacks were great by the pool too for All inclusive. We have some food allergies in the family and they were accommodating and helpful to be sure we had all we needed

Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. Hotel was modern, big and had lots of pools. Restraunt for all inclusive was lovely! Views were also great looking onto beach while eating

Our first disappointment was the receptionist who could not be bothered to give us 100% of his attention during check-in; he was on the phone for a third of it, spent another third asking people behind us in line why they were here to see if he could have some "quick win" fixes and ended the check-in by speed running all the instructions of our stay and the resort map

Perfect hotel, very friendly staff and we were always feeling velcome. We were travelling with one handicapped child in a wheelchair and the staff always looked after us and were very welcoming

These rushed explanations led to the misunderstanding of where to eat and what was included in the half-baked where the serving staff was much more well-mannered and even offered the two wines we ordered without knowing we would be paying for it

The glass showers do not fully close or the stairs are to work to be efficient leading to spilling and wet floors; also the drain cover is loose and flow is slow resulting in a piece of plastic floating around

The Spa was beautiful- I enjoyed their amazing cool pool and jacuzzi all to myself. What let this place down was the very poor quality of food we ordered with room service

The bottle of wine offered in the room, and the complimentary welcome cocktail drinks.

This resort is surrounded by lush green plantations blended harmoniously with the ocean breeze and a peaceful tranquility. There are 4 restaurants, pool bars and a beautiful wellness spa center

The spa pool & jacuzzi waters are kept so cold, it's impossible to get in. And they should upgrade their gym, which is not compatible to a 5-star hotel (extremely old/bad equipment)

The food choices are amazing, a massive buffet both at breakfast & dinner, although dinner varies every evening, according to themes (Greek, Grill, Italian. Room, bed and bedlinen were very comfortable

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive

As it was at the end of September, it was not crowded, thus both the resort staff and the facilities were not overwhelmed and in fact, I was treated to a really welcoming, spotlessly clean and calm environment

As other reviews state, snack bar serving pizza/gyros/burgers which is decent. Drinks mainly all self serve, typical for an all inclusive, local brands but ok

Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s

Anyway we waited… when it was our turn I asked would towels be up there and was told yes of course

The bars were good 👍 all inclusive drinks however do seem a little watered down but hey ho saved a bad head the next day. The beach is literally next to the pool and was great for sunbathing and snorkeling

We still could enjoy the quiet evening there without freezing. Rooms are fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker fridge freezer and table for 4 ppl. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels

We got the room at the lowest ground which was a bit dark but travelling with a toddler was very handy as we weren’t woken up at the sunrise 😅 and the bushes around the balcony (we complained about them at first) turned out to be very handy at evenings when we sat there during heavy wind

The hotel has its own parking and has plenty of restaurants nearby, beachfront as well as in the main street. The host is very friendly, he offered a lot of valuable suggestions for spending time around the island

When we landed at the hotel there was an issue with our room so we got moved to the sister hotel over the road for one night which was fine, then they gave us a free massage and late check out also for the inconvenience which wasn't really an issue

We got a bus for 20mins about 2euro each to old town and the harbour was beautiful 😍 The rooms were deep cleaned daily which was great 👍 the staff were all pleasant. Overall I'd go back yes but want to try more places

Fantastic hotel, right next to the sandy beach. The dedicated sun beds on both the beach and by the pool were of high quality

Positioned at the main street of Platanias but you can't hear the noise when at the pool or beach

Unbelievable beautiful place!! Short walk to a beautiful beach, pool for small children, and 2 other pools. Bar at the pool, good food, great breakfast with what ever you want, yogurt, milk bread cornflakes

Beautiful hotel but poorly designed bathroom in our apartment. Pool was ice-cold (we went last week of the season though). Other than that, beautiful stay!

Overall a nice hotel. Breakfast is not included, which would be nice. Rooms are a little worn, but with nice facilities. Nice location next to the beach and a couple of stores and restaurants.

We spent four days in the hotel at the end of the season. Accomodations ware great, food is good and the stuff gave us a home like fealing. We rented the big room with jacuzzi and it was great

From the lady that checked us in and helped me with the birthday cake for my husband, the entire front desk , the breakfast team (I think the manager name is Nikólaos), the pool staff the Spa ladies really really did above and beyond in every aspect (I'm really sorry that I don't remember more names )!! The house keeping was top notch, out room was always spotlessly clean

The cocktails in the pool were superb and we enjoyed them almost daily :) Now coming to the cherry on top, the staff in the hotel (wow!!!!) it made our stay !! Coming from the hospitality industry myself I sometimes tent to overlook things naturally, but I really have nothing simply nothing to improve here

We stayed there for our honeymoon for 7 days, and it was INCREDIBLE! Beautiful resort with everything you need, friendly staff, delicious delicious food! We booked the Executive Suite, it is two stories with a hot tub and a big balcony overlooking the pool and sea

The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, including regular towel changes. Moreover, from the early hours, the pools and pathways were well-maintained

In Althea you can literally feel like in Greek village, relaxing in gardens in hammock, feeling the peace and harmony to the surroundings

a few minutes' walk from the beach small and neat hotell Area. some of the rooms are old, but in neat condition. nice water slides, few pool and play ground

The kids had a fantastic time on the slides, in the pool and also the baby splash area

Everyone that work here was great. Tha pool and place in really nice. We were just little disappointed about our room. It was smaller and not as modern as its looked in the picture

It isn't a huge hotel and that's exactly what were were looking for - something a bit tamer and quiet in the evenings! The food was amazingly fresh, with different themed foods on certain evenings

All the foods were labelled and they had offered to make something if the children weren't able to eat anything, but there was such a large variety for lunches and dinner

- The buffet could be better organised with an allergen free area - the cheese were on plates next to the ham, and some guests were using the same utensils for both

The rooms maybe a but outdated but that is in no way an issue when you consider free parking, free air conditioning, decent breakfast and a wonderful service. Definitely choose these folks

The owner is very kind and gave us a helpful advice regarding the area and places to see during our day. I would recommend this place to anyone, looking for peaceful vacation in Greece

We have been in Oscar Suites for a week. The location is super nice and the apartments are also very good. It's nice they have two pools and a fitness. The employees are very very nice and helpful

In 5 minutes bakery with ice cream and coffee, beach, shops, bars, bus station to Chania There is also amazing bar in the hotel and relax zone. Highly recommend to stay in this place

The hotel located in the very nice area, the beach is just across the street and there are a lot of great restaurants around

Excellent hotel! The rooms spacious with a lovely view of the pool, we could sit outside and relax or swim. Also the windows were soundproof so no matter the noise or music outside, the rooms were peaceful

The bartrender Angelo was an Angel from above. The bar was a pleasure to hang out, he is so friendly and make the best drinks I have ever drank. You have to visit and say Hello from Kimberlee to Angelo

We spent half of our honeymoon here we were welcomed with beautiful gifts and friendliness, the hotel was beautiful, comfortable and clean

The hotel as is ok. We had an apartment below grund which was ok big, but not very cosy. Cleaning was meh, but the people were very nice. Perfect pool for the whole family is one extra star.

Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. The room were big enough and the bed was very comfortable

Even outside the resort the local businesses were so friendly and not pushy for sales, in fact they gave us free drinks and gifts for our children! Can not recommend this resort and the area enough!

She went out of her way every time to help us. All the staff were so friendly and lovely which made our stay extremely memorable

The rooms were spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location brilliant, very central on the main road and on the bus route, and near the Platanias bus stop

The sea view with breakfast made it even more memorable. The Italian restaurant at the hotel is amazing too. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good stay for a reasonable price

We didn't have breakfast included, but ate lunch in Waves almost every day and also tried Cugini. Two nice pool areas, and the receptionists were very helpful

Sunbeds are also not available at the pool on most mornings despite the pool not opening until 9am the sunbeds are all occupied well before that time

Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week

Drinks in the hotel bar are way overpriced paid 8€ for a cocktail that was served in a juice cup and was less than half full! In saying that accommodation is adequate, location is good as it's close to everything and bus service to Chania is brilliant at 2

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room

Perfect location at the beach with super nice pool! We stayed at Blue Dome for 14 days. Had the pleasure of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms. The design of the apartment was beautiful and tasteful

Especially the blue sky painted wall in our bedroom. The air condition was new and very efficient. Be aware of the extra cost - but this is just necessary. The restaurant / pool bar is very good

My complaints about this hotel are mainly due to the staff and bar/restaurant amenities. Everything at the hotel, including the pool, bar, restaurant, lobby, everything, is completely shut down by 9pm

A few steps down from the cristal clear pools is the beach and you can jump into the waves in no time. This was something that was priority on our list

Excellent food in the restaurant, a lot of dietary dishes for children, a variety of the diet were changed every day. Two nice pools with sea views. All the amenities in a walking distance. Will definitely go here again!

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water
