First, the other reviews complaining about cockroaches – these are *not* cockroaches, they are actually cicadas! The rooms are on open air so open windows during the night might attract insects inside :) if anything it shows the hotel has some nice vegetation and garden around the pools and rooms. Hotel was ok. Not good enough for 4 star. This is a lovely 3 star Apartment complex, some of it is quite old but they have built new apartments in the last 10 years too. We stayed in the newer apartments which were clean and comfortable. We paid extra for air conditioning which is a must in Crete, we also paid for a safety deposit box in the room. It was only a few Euros a night and the air on was 10 euros a night. Absolutely fantastic! The best family holiday we’ve had. We hired a car, the apartments were a 15 minute drive away from the airport. This is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. My apartment was very big, two bedrooms, two balconies with another bed in the living area. It also had a small but functional kitchenette. The hotel is great. The rooms are cleaned, the pool water is also always clean. The breakfast consists of local products(lots of sweet stuff). Anna is a wonderful host. She is always happy to help you and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Volta suites seem to be brand new and are in a great location only a 5 mins walk to the sea, some of the suites have hot tubs whilst others have swimming pools there is also an outdoor pool and outdoor gym. Myself and my young son stayed here for a week in May. This small, family run hotel is made up of apartments as well as a villa. The whole place is immaculate, it’s so clean and so well maintained. Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful area. Although basic, it is clean everywhere. The service provided by Nikos & Mama Kleanthi is the best ever. The food is wonderful. The WI-FI and sun loungers are excellent & you won't want to leave the poolside. Very pleased I found this gem.

A beautiful experience... new apartments and 20 meters from the sea ... swimming pool ... Wi-Fi ... and excellent services ... but the specialty of this place is the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of the staff ... I recommend it!!!

Very good hotel. We had a seaview studio. The studio had everything we needed, a small kitchenette with pots and pans, a nice bed with comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. The unit was perfectly cleaned! Easily the best place i stayed in Crete! Would definitely visit again!

So, first of all, I want to tell you that the furniture is very modern! The water in the bathroom is very abundant. On the other hand, Rania, the host, is very absent, and she only speaks Greek, not a big deal in itself. The sheets and towels are only changed every 4 days 😪 On the balcony, it is impossible to stay, because no shelter is provided, such as a parasol. The kitchen is not well equipped...
