Fantastic Hotel. Had 10 amazing nights there. read some negative review recently and they are all unfair. Food choice was good as was the quality. The place is spotlessly clean

Nice hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day. Nice pools. The child liked it very much. Food is not bad. The beach is nearby and very cool. The only drawback is that the restaurant is very noisy, but there are always a lot of people in the hotel.

Lovely hotel in general the luggage storage is lockers you pay 2 euros per locker that's not returned after so if you need something in or out your locker you pay again. It's a lovely resort but spread out. Short walk to the beach food basic all inclusive we ate out a few times. Easy enough to get public transport. The spa is expensive

Great place for a family holiday. I would recommend getting a room with a pool patio otherwise you may struggle for a sun lounger. The food is great, the service is excellent and the hotel is aesthetically pleasing. It’s also a great place if you like cats! The only negative is not being a beachfront resort but having said that, the five minute walk to the beach is quite pleasant.

Rooms a bit on the small size but didn't mind that too much. Service and friendly staff everywhere. Great food. There are plenty of pool options, and the slides are great. Would like to see more activities for kids. It seems they focus on little kids, and there's nothing for the 8 to 12 years old... The gym didn't have an aircon, was extremely hot, and was not comfortable to train.

What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. I’m a vegan and they specifically looked for and made special dishes for me every day! The beach is sandy but not necessarily amazing. But nice enough. Great service. It won’t disappoint!

Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. This is a euro 200 a night at best.

We had a great time at The Island hotel. Wonderful location. Good food and lots to do and visit in the area. Staff works really hard here! We especially loved the lady at the mini market who was super nice and really took care of all the cats in the resort.

When we arrived we were welcomed by the friendly staf our luggage was immediately taken to our room. When entering our room we were a bit disappointed by the lack of space in the room and bathroom. With my wife and son we spent a very enjoyable week at Marina Beach hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the swimming pools well maintained (my 4 year old son loved the kid's pool), the staff were very nice and helpful and the kid's entertainers were fantastic. Absolutely loved it there.The service was excellent and so friendly. The whole place was clean and the food was fine for us. The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break. Would definitely return. Only complaint is the towels on every sunbed with no one to be seen. Staff worked very hard especially in and around the dinning area. The food was nice but repetitive and could have been hotter. The drink included in the all inclusive was a bit limited. Would stay there again. Rooms kept clean. Towels changed every couple of days. Free sun beds on the beach.

Took a few days to realise how well-placed it actually is (if you have car). But staff are lovely and sooooo helpful. We stayed in room 216. The rooms aren't sound proof and had some really inconsiderate neighbours , always coming in after 2am and making lots of nose and banging doors etc. but that's not the hotel's fault.
