We spent 10 nearly perfect days here at Sol Marina. Hotel very clean und food is very good (I highly recommend dinner at restaurant Isla). We stopped here for 10 nights. Overall it was a great stay. The children really enjoyed exploring all pools. Entertainment was good, but the DJ by the pool during the day may have been a bit too loud and struggled to find the right songs for daytime djing, put me off my relaxation and had to put earphones in at times. We had a wonderful stay at The Island Hotel in Crete. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything was exceptionally clean. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we loved every moment. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved it there.The service was excellent and so friendly. The whole place was clean and the food was fine for us. The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break. Would definitely return. Only complaint is the towels on every sunbed with no one to be seen. This unfortunately happens everywhere so won't mark down for it.

What a stunning hotel! Calm. Peaceful. I stayed in one of the apartment suites overlooking the ocean. Staff always go out of the way. I’m a vegan and they specifically looked for and made special dishes for me every day! The beach is sandy but not necessarily amazing. But nice enough. Great service. It won’t disappoint!

Amirandes has an outstanding architecture and nice sea access. Beach is small, but nice. Katharina from reception did an outstanding job in sorting a view things out for us, super fast, nice and always customer first. We really enjoyed this!

Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff. You can see how luxury the hotel is right from the main gate entrance. We will definitely go back again!

Other than the architecture of the lobby and entrance area and the good natured staff, it was the worst stay I have ever experienced. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. This is a euro 200 a night at best.

We didn’t stay here but their attentive lifeguard helped my son and I when we got into trouble in the sea opposite the hotel. Even though we weren’t reindents he brought us in, patched up our cuts and bruises and did everything h could to make sure we’d be ok. Very caring and helpful - thank you!

We had a lovely stay here last week, the staff are super friendly and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. Location is perfect and I loved the pool area, perfect size for keeping an eye on the kids. Rooms are basic but it was as expected and perfect for our needs.

I really wish I could rate the apartments higher, but I can’t. The room was old fashioned, and the bathroom really ended updating. Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new. I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront.
