Friendly hard working staff often reminding people to wear masks while self serving food which must get to them. Choice of three pools or use the free bus which runs to the beach three times a day ! The food was nice enough but don't expect five star food at three star prices.

Great 10 night stay, 3 pools, although we mainly used the central one. We had a 2 room family room, great space, paid for AC as an extra, must have. Just back from a week's holiday at clublyda Hotel. Had a fantastic time room was basic but clean. Food was basic could possibly have some more variety. Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new. Tranquil get away. Has a lovely pool and a bar serving drinks and snacks till late. 5 mins walk to the nearest beach. Plenty shops, restaurants nearby. Only because we are in new apartments is it 4 star ..becareful when you book as we traveled with TUI on package and our one bed appartment was so so basic it was unreal but we upgraded and have to say so glad we did and other services in complex fab and staff lovely and only 5 min walk from beach ...thanks guys for great stay

Just back from 10 blissful days here, apartments are clean and well looked after with everything you need. Olga and Dimitris make you feel so welcome, Mike keeps you entertained behind the bar on the evening and Natalie keeps you fed and hydrated through the daytime. Great pool with plenty of sunbeds, great restaurants very close by and the sea front just down the road. We miss it already.

The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break. Would definitely return. Only complaint is the towels on every sunbed with no one to be seen. Took a few days to realise how well-placed it actually is (if you have car). But staff are lovely and sooooo helpful. We stayed in room 216. The rooms aren't sound proof and had some really inconsiderate neighbours , always coming in after 2am and making lots of nose and banging doors etc. but that's not the hotel's fault.

The Vasia is a very nice and modern hotel. The pool area is great. I don't fully understand when they serve al a carte and when a buffet for the dinner, but the staff is really nice and they try to fulfill all of your needs and wishes.

Pool not so big but nice beaches walking distance which you have to pay for sunbeds.Bus stop to any city 10 min walk and trust me everyone is very nice and willing to help. Love Crete:)

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was immaculate though shower wasn't as powerful as the one at home (when are they). Food was varied and fresh. Such a relaxing and calm hotel.

Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, staff nice, not enough tables at the dinner, have to wait someone to leave. Otherwise nice and tidy. Good pool.

So if you haven't been to Crete before,best to know you'll need a car to explore fully. Hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. I felt there wasn't enough of anything when the is busy, like sunbeds, chairs by the bar, food in the restaurant etc. A few local shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby and a beach but if you need more this hotel might not be for you. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean as the the hotel grounds. All staff are friendly and hard working. The food is excellent, the choice and quality was a highlight for me, healthy too which makes deserts a guilt free choice! This is an absolutely amazing Spa Hotel! Little bit further from the sea, but they have beach shuttle. Relaxed happy atmosphere! Nice range of spa treatments (extra pay), yoga and pilates classes (extra pay), evening entertainment. They have range of rooms, including the swim-up rooms. Staff surprised us with bottle of wine in the room for my birthday, and offered us an upgrade for last 2 days stay...
