Where to stay with pets in Kato Gouves

We rotated between the mini park, splash park, and small pool which gave my son variety and excitement. The adults tried the water park too which was fun. My son also enjoyed the children’s playground and mini disco

Absolutely amused by how very professional the misuse was, I would most definitely recommend to anyone use this spa when and never would you regret doing so many thanks My appreciation goes to specialist Albora

The splash park is really good, I’m not sure why it doesn’t open until 11am though. The bars are great and lovely sitting areas too. We went to afew of the entertainment nights. The Acrobats night was our favourite

A child did a poo in the pool which had to close the splash park for the whole day to clean the water (which shows how tidy the hotel is) annoyingly it was closed for the day but a good thing it was being clean properly

There only ever seemed to be 10-15 out each time where there’s 100s of plates so I found myself asking for one or waiting for a restock. The hotel definitely needs more out available. Staff are friendly and polite

Pizza, Gyros and Burgers were delicious! The only annoying thing is when people jump in instead of queuing like everyone else but this isn’t the hotels fault. We stopped in a family room which was big and clean

The animation team was fantastic – plenty of activity programs during the day and great themed evening shows at their dedicated theater. There are many pools, all in excellent condition and very well maintained

3 swimming pools (children pool with slides and climbing wall) activity pool with program all day provided by animators and snack pool) entrainment is mostly in French or Italian but they do translate if reminded

This was our very first visit to Crete and from the first day to the very last moment, everything was simply perfect. Positives The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly friendly in every department

The front office team was very helpful and always available. Housekeeping was one of the best we’ve ever experienced – beds were made every day and we received fresh towels daily

The restaurant staff were helpful and the manager was exceptional. The beach was super clean, with plenty of sunbeds and a safe, enjoyable environment for the kids

The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped (including tea and coffee facilities, a fridge and a safe). The food is of an excellent quality, very varied and so much on offer

Staff works really hard here! We especially loved the lady at the mini market who was super nice and really took care of all the cats in the resort

This is an excellent location for a tranquil break. Good food choices with lots of flavour. There was always space around the pools and the beach was easy to access

Staff incredibly helpful and friendly, fun nights at the hotel bar with dj in the evenings, stunning sunsets on the beach, having a room with a pool was an amazing bonus! Didn’t really leave the hotel much as it had so much for a short, relaxing break

We booked bed and breakfast, and were so glad because there is a wonderful selection of great tavernas and restaurants all within 5 minutes walk

This hotel was all that we expected, and more. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful

Had an amazing time at this hotel. We arrived last Monday and our room was in the newer side. Right next to a pool so perfect for us. It’s a small hotel which suited us down to the ground

The food we found to be nice and always a table. We went out for meals etc now and then so didn’t see the food being repetitive. Big fan of the little apple deserts

All pools are available to everyone (with the exception of the private pools) , so we enjoyed using the roof top pool on a few occasions as well. The layout of this hotel means that it all feels spread out

If I could offer one suggestion Maybe a bit more for kids. Can’t fault any of the staff from the dining staff, cleaners and bar staff etc they all helped make our stay really good

While the animation team weren’t our thing they seemed to do a good job especially on an evening and we’re all polite, they didn’t pester us to try and get involved which is good

One week family holiday with two boys. We had paid for and were staying in a deluxe family room and so we were in the newer part of the hotel

Just returned from a wonderful 10 day break. Great sea front location with excellent pool and surrounds. Loads of good quality loungers and beds

Hotel is small enough to provide excellent personal service but big enough to have everything you need, including an excellent bar with stand out cocktails Special mention for the excellent staff, attentive, friendly, and efficient

Thanks to Katerina and Iyanna (sorry if I wrote it wrong) we were warmly welcomed. The services given by all them and all her colleagues were perfect and we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back.

Hello, i have a question? have you renovated the hotel since 2019? I was transferred to your hotel but there are no reviews since 2019 and the photos of the trips on these dates do not match your photos

Recently renovated with some might not finished details. Very comfy and huge room( junior suit) Swimming pool could be a bit bigger, but fair enough for refreshing moments

The stuff is super friendly and happy to help you any time. Katerina ( reception) very helpful, going to organize and make your stay enjoyable and simply unforgettable

The hotel has a great pool, although it can be sometimes busy, but the beach is also just across the road from the hotel with dedicated area for the hotel guests

The rooms are simple, but have everything you need for a good night sleep, with A/C, TV, fridge and other equipment. The food was incredible, with plenty of options to suit every taste

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Diogeni's Blue Palace! We were very welcomed by the most amazing and friendly people that were always available to help us with any request

A huge thank you to chef Ilias, a very good and friendly person that makes the food absolutely amazing, and i am very happy to call a friend

The bar has great choices of drinks and local wine and beer, and once again a great thank you to Benny, Ivan, Costa, Sophia and everyone for their hospitality and friendly approach

I had an amazing stay at Diogenis Blue Palace Crete! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly and professional staff who made our experience truly special

The hotel has a good location next to a nice sandy beach, the hotel itself is tired and in need of maintenance and updating

The food was great, fresh and so delicious. Bedrooms were little bit old, but clean. Swimmingpools just wow and so close to the sea. I hope we will come back again

We didn’t stay here but their attentive lifeguard helped my son and I when we got into trouble in the sea opposite the hotel

The rooms are very dated and the furniture was damaged which led to myself and my son begging splinters from the broken wood. This is not a major issue as we did not spend much time there so we did not raise anything

This is not a major issue but during the day when you have been in the pool you cannot go inside to get a drink which leaves you stuck. The staff are absolutely wonderful and really made our trip

In addition, there is a bar next to the pool that is closed during the day and when it opens at night is only a paid bar so you have to walk to the lobby bar to get a drink

On walking into the reception area I saw a few cats about. We approached the reception and was met by a lovely lady who checked us in, I asked about the cats and she dismissed them saying oh there are a few

The cats are a turn off for me and the place has potential if a little more investment is made. The staff are very good throughout. I find it hard to believe this was graded 4 stars

Food is good with plenty of choice at all meal times. However if you sit outside you will be surrounded by cats scrounging for food and some darlings think it’s sweet to feed them

Some even leave there towels from the day before and the hotel do not clear them. The pool doesn’t have a shallow end and get quite deep, there is a smaller pool for children. So overall it’s good but not amazing

I thought great I have an allergy to them so sitting in any chairs in reception was ruled out. The rooms are basic but function well. Air conditioning is spot on, room fridge was a God send for cold drinks

There is a gym with sufficient equipment to work out but you are let down by no air con or fans in there so it’s like training in a sauna, I mentioned this to reception but nobody seemed to care

We arrived quite late and we were greeted by friendly staff and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were typical Grecian, basic but clean. Our room was located on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the large pool

We had a double bed, single bed, kitchen area, wardrobe and desk. We had dinner saved for us in the fridge with bottled water

The weather was typically 26oc, never an issue getting sun beds there were plenty around the pool

The pools were nice, but one of the pools was losing its plastic from the floor of the pool. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone, unless you really just want a very basic place to sleep

The room I had was ok, but the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the bed was very lumpy, I had to pay €10 for a kettle for my sleep apnoea device

There were very few English people there (I think I was 1 of maybe 5 people staying there) which was great for me, lots of Russians and Germans

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation experience with a touch of hospitality that makes all the difference

Took a few days to realise how well-placed it actually is (if you have car). But staff are lovely and sooooo helpful

Big clean rooms with a nice view over the ocean, with good bed and pillows, aircondition, hair dryer, coffee maker. The room service was excellent clean room everyday and very friendly

The rooms aren't sound proof and had some really inconsiderate neighbours , always coming in after 2am and making lots of nose and banging doors etc. but that's not the hotel's fault

The Vasia is a very nice and modern hotel. I don't fully understand when they serve al a carte and when a buffet for the dinner, but the staff is really nice and they try to fulfill all of your needs and wishes

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff truly made the difference - they were exceptional, always greeting guests with warm smiles and going above and beyond to assist with any requests or inquiries

Great place for a family holiday this place caters for all ages We were located in the annex which was great and catered better for adults the pool area was quieter leaving the main pool area for families Food there was plenty of choice however some of it could have been hotter Room we had was lovely and had a great walk in shower However the showers downstairs in the main area could do with an upgrade...

Food is very good, a little repetitive but you will always find something to eat and as previous comments have said it’s not always hot. Rooms are basic but enough for what you need

Beds weren’t the most comfortable, needed more pillows, rooms were basic, no tea/coffee in the room, food was just ok, main courses generally cold or Luke warm, breakfasts were not great at all, not much available on all inclusive (other hotels have had cocktails & slushies available with all inclusive) ice cream was only available 3-5pm, we never saw any snacks available, pool area was small, no life...

Very relaxed hotel and quiet but getting busier as we left. All the staff work extremely hard here

Everyone enjoyed them, but staff shirty about serving with you with more than a couple, despite one person going for multiple people, rather than dragging everyone over to the bar area & forming a huge queue

I would return, however it would have to be self catering

We returned to this hotel after first visit last October and it did not disappoint as we were worried if it would be as good for second visit Staff so friendly and helpful the receptionist Anna and her colleagues could t do enough all the bar staff and they remembered us which was a nice touch Any issues delay with swiftly Will be rebooking for next year

But if you ask for fries with the cheese and ham sandwich then you get charged for them??? The food in the main restaurant was awful, again, no aircon on in there despite there being a huge great unit

Although they serve drinks in glasses round the pool, and one day one of the waiters dropped a whole tray of glasses which smashed and fell into the pool! Plastic would be a much better idea! No need to get up at silly o'clock to get a sunbed which was nice

The only decent food we had in the hotel was at the a la carte restaurant. Out of the 7 days we were there we ate out 4 nights. The staff were all very friendly, very helpful and polite

There is a big menu at the outside area which you can have at lunch time, however if you are AI then all you can have is a cheese and ham toasty, club sandwich with fries, or a crepe

I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront

The swimming pool is maintained daily and the area for enjoying the sunshine is very relaxing. From the housekeeping to the front of house staff, especially Mr Serbia, were welcoming, hospitable & if there was a problem

5 minutes walking to lovely shops, supermarkets, bars, tavernas & nightlife if you wish to boogie. The apartments provide facilities for cooking. Hower I took advantage of the food on offer at breakfast & dinner

Our first time in Crete and we stayed at Kaissa Beach. Very nice for kids ,helpful and friendly staff ,plenty oft space for sunbathing round the pool , and good prices for cocktails at nicht

Had dinner with them there at the lovely restaurant on the sea front. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Food and drink were well-priced. Would highly recommend this place

Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new

I have booked hairdresser's appointment but I wasn't sure about the location so she offered to drop me off. Breakfast was always fresh, with plenty of choices. Rooms cleaned daily to the highest standard

It's not the best feeling on vacation

The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was massive!! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included bacon and eggs, pastries, home made Cretan pies, yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal and coffee and tea

Close to the beach and the local restaurants, this hotel has to offer really clean and spacious rooms with all the facilities,e. room service,parking space,bathroom amenities and a pool with a garden

It was such a good stay and we felt very welcome. The rooms were so clean, the food was outstanding and the pool was so nice. Most of all we loved the people there and how nice and helpful they were

The rooms are cleaned, the pool water is also always clean. The breakfast consists of local products(lots of sweet stuff). She is always happy to help you and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible

Really nice, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, we ended up here for a few nights when our original hotel had problems with our room. We would definitely stay here when we visit again

We were so happy to find this hotel and were certainly not disappointed when we arrived. The entire place really lived up to the photos and reviews. It’s clear George the owner cares deeply about his guests’ experience

but actually ended up liking that too (couple of vending machines if you want a cold beer or snack) 3 min walk to town/shops/beaches (main beach is huge and se is shallow for 50 yards) and 5 mins in opposite direction to inland town

Small complex of suites, some with private pools and hot tub and a gorgeous communal pool. Great suites with everything you could possibly need and would definitely recommend those with private pools

Plenty of bars, shops and entertainment within a short stroll. First time to Gouves and Volta but would definitely come back to both. One of our favourite stay ever ❤️ Thanks for having us

A lot of money has been spent on this project and you can tell. Everything feels like quality. Communal pool with thick padded beds is stunning and always plenty of room

It's only a short walk from the beach, and there's plenty of restaurants and shops around. The area's lovely and quiet, and if you want something a bit busier, Heraklion is only a 15 minute car ride

The rooms are self-catering, but perfectly equipped for whatever you need. Genuinely great, and would highly recommend!

Last night tonight gutted to be going home. Weather been fantastic as has Andreas Apartments. Food is great and all homemade. Minas and Manya can't do enough for you.. Back next year with bells on.
