The splash park is really good, I’m not sure why it doesn’t open until 11am though. The bars are great and lovely sitting areas too. We went to afew of the entertainment nights. The Acrobats night was our favourite

The children really enjoyed exploring all pools. Some reviews say you don’t need to reserve but by the time we got up the beds were all taken so I would suggest going out to the pools earlier

There only ever seemed to be 10-15 out each time where there’s 100s of plates so I found myself asking for one or waiting for a restock. The hotel definitely needs more out available. Staff are friendly and polite

Pizza, Gyros and Burgers were delicious! The only annoying thing is when people jump in instead of queuing like everyone else but this isn’t the hotels fault. We stopped in a family room which was big and clean

The room was clean and spacious, the swimming pools well maintained (my 4 year old son loved the kid's pool), the staff were very nice and helpful and the kid's entertainers were fantastic

My husband and I love Greece 🇬🇷 a lot, our favourite restaurants are Greek restaurant in Germany 🇩🇪, so we decided to go there as our honeymoon 👰🏻‍♀️ 🤵🏼‍♂️ so Crete was the best option and we chose Sol Marina beach hotel, one of the best one based on what we read, and based on what we experienced 😍, very friendly employees, so clean, tidy, and the environment is so beautiful

The hotel is so near to the beach 🏖 so I guess 50 meters! That is great 😊 we paid a little bit more to have the chance to have a balcony opened to the sea 🌊, the beautiful Mediterranean Sea 🌊 that was awesome 🤩 so we had lots of fun there 😍the quality of foods are good, everything was included, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks, ice cream 🍦 so that was perfect

😍 Oh! It has a gym and massage 💆‍♀️! It has children playground 🛝, so it’s convenient for children and toddlers! So enjoy !😉 You can see our photos and videos if you found them useful please like them🥰

The hotel has a great pool, although it can be sometimes busy, but the beach is also just across the road from the hotel with dedicated area for the hotel guests

The rooms are simple, but have everything you need for a good night sleep, with A/C, TV, fridge and other equipment. The food was incredible, with plenty of options to suit every taste

Hotel is small enough to provide excellent personal service but big enough to have everything you need, including an excellent bar with stand out cocktails Special mention for the excellent staff, attentive, friendly, and efficient

Hello, i have a question? have you renovated the hotel since 2019? I was transferred to your hotel but there are no reviews since 2019 and the photos of the trips on these dates do not match your photos

Recently renovated with some might not finished details. Very comfy and huge room( junior suit) Swimming pool could be a bit bigger, but fair enough for refreshing moments

The stuff is super friendly and happy to help you any time. Katerina ( reception) very helpful, going to organize and make your stay enjoyable and simply unforgettable

Really beautiful hotel! There are old and new rooms, so better book the new rooms! Food ist absolute delicious and changes every day. Sandy beach near, just down the street, everyone friendly and good animation!

We were two friends with two teenage kids. The kids just loved the private pool there and the staff are just so lovely. Food and drinks are just lovely

We booked a family room in this hotel ( at an extra rate). Our room was above the canteen (106) which is the oldest part of the hotel. The bathroom needs a deep clean, it had a very unpleasant smell

Below is my honest review of staying at this hotel (Sensus experience). location: Quiet location. If you're happy to sit back and relax, this is the hotel for you

No shampoo or gel offered despite leaving the empty mini bottle out. No hooks in the room for wet towels. TV with bbc news, most channels in German. Pools 2 pools, small one for kids and bigger one with varied depth

No brown sauce for my breakfast, 😞. Bar Bar by pool, good selection of cocktails and spirits in all inclusive. Sometimes only 1 person serving so 10 minutes wait. Nice snacks including fresh pizza, rolls and Greek salad

Usual fight for beds, typically all gone by 8. English breakfast and all other options. Not amazing but always a good choice, no complaints. Great service by the waiters, bringing drinks and anything you need

This is not a major issue but during the day when you have been in the pool you cannot go inside to get a drink which leaves you stuck. The staff are absolutely wonderful and really made our trip

The food was amazing and although some items were repetitive, they tasted so good that we honestly didn’t mind eating some things more than once. There were a number of options that were new every night so it was great

From the waiters/waitress’s to the Alexandria animation team, they were excellent throughout our stay and should be rewarded. The location could not be better

One slight issue was the sun beds which were often reserved before they even opened the pool area which meant if you were reasonable and waited for the pool to open at 8am, you wouldn’t get a space by the pool

Often it was older people who didn’t even come down until later or simply sat by the bar drinking so this was frustrating and I would like the hotel to police this better but appreciate it’s difficult

There is a small amount of bars 5 mins out of the hotel, and then there are bars and shops within a 10-15 minute walk so the location is good. The staff in the hotel are all lovely

Had an amazing holiday, the rooms were clean and tidy, location was good only a minutes walk from the seafront and a 5/10 minute walk from the beaches, entertainment was good, variety and not the same every night, Mario and the girl providing entertainment are great and definitely make it more worthwhile, pool isn’t big but definitely good enough for a quick dip, but be mindful it’s about 5ft deep...

The pool side had plenty of sun beds (again low season so this is probably an indication of why) and some ‘four poster’ sun beds for a little extra relaxation

The location of the hotel is good, 20 minutes from Heraklion airport and on the sea front. The initial impression of the hotel was it is smaller than expected, but clean and well presented

If you are not a fan of crowded beaches, I recommend going swimming right across the road from the hotel. There is a small pebble beach, there are free sun loungers

Took a few days to realise how well-placed it actually is (if you have car). But staff are lovely and sooooo helpful

Big clean rooms with a nice view over the ocean, with good bed and pillows, aircondition, hair dryer, coffee maker. The room service was excellent clean room everyday and very friendly

The rooms aren't sound proof and had some really inconsiderate neighbours , always coming in after 2am and making lots of nose and banging doors etc. but that's not the hotel's fault

The Vasia is a very nice and modern hotel. I don't fully understand when they serve al a carte and when a buffet for the dinner, but the staff is really nice and they try to fulfill all of your needs and wishes

For many food is the most important aspect and also for as “big eaters”. To be completely honest we’ve never experienced better hotel food. It was even better than the food in restaurants we visited

Food choice was decent but every single meal was well done and delicious and also changing every day. Only desserts were little weaker but not bad in any way. Overall hats down to the hotel chef

They treat you as their friend and help you with everything you need like tips for trip or helped us with mosquito problems also gave us snacks for our trip back to Czech

We arrived quite late and we were greeted by friendly staff and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were typical Grecian, basic but clean. Our room was located on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the large pool

Location was the only down side however there was a free shuttle bus to the beach from the hotel and main bus stop just at the bottom of the road and therefore wasn’t an issue for us

Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all nice, not a huge variety but plenty of options. 45pm in the entertainment area was either a disco, quiz or kareoke, we all really enjoyed this

The hotel had three pools which were cleaned daily and a games area for kids! There was a small shop onsite and a bar and shop over the road

I would return, however it would have to be self catering

We returned to this hotel after first visit last October and it did not disappoint as we were worried if it would be as good for second visit Staff so friendly and helpful the receptionist Anna and her colleagues could t do enough all the bar staff and they remembered us which was a nice touch Any issues delay with swiftly Will be rebooking for next year

The hotel also offers a fabulous massage and reflexology service run by Stamatis - I indulged in a number of treatments during my stay and I highly recommend him and his assistant

All inclusive the food as amazing help your self to as much as you want with different dishes every day and the food in the alicarte was like a Michelin star restaurant

I've just returned from the most peaceful relaxing & refreshing 7 days at these apartments. The location is right on the seafront

The swimming pool is maintained daily and the area for enjoying the sunshine is very relaxing. From the housekeeping to the front of house staff, especially Mr Serbia, were welcoming, hospitable & if there was a problem

5 minutes walking to lovely shops, supermarkets, bars, tavernas & nightlife if you wish to boogie. The apartments provide facilities for cooking. Hower I took advantage of the food on offer at breakfast & dinner

Visited some friends who were staying atvthese apartments. They were delighted with the refurbishment of the rooms and facilities from last year. Everything looked fresh and new

we had a very nice vacation, the hotel is very clean and nice. there is a very family atmosphere, the hosts have a big heart and always help

everything is very well organized, gouves is a very family-friendly place, if you want to go to another city and don't have a car, that's no problem, the bus stop 15 is right outside the door and you have great connections to iraklion or malia

Mike - the owner was very nice to us, gentle and welcoming, and charming with the kids. His wife- a bit of the opposite, seemed angry at the kids and had a lot of comments on how they behave or what they do

The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was massive!! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included bacon and eggs, pastries, home made Cretan pies, yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal and coffee and tea

The rooms are cleaned, the pool water is also always clean. The breakfast consists of local products(lots of sweet stuff). She is always happy to help you and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible
