The animation team was fantastic – plenty of activity programs during the day and great themed evening shows at their dedicated theater. There are many pools, all in excellent condition and very well maintained

3 swimming pools (children pool with slides and climbing wall) activity pool with program all day provided by animators and snack pool) entrainment is mostly in French or Italian but they do translate if reminded

This was our very first visit to Crete and from the first day to the very last moment, everything was simply perfect. Positives The staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly friendly in every department

The front office team was very helpful and always available. Housekeeping was one of the best we’ve ever experienced – beds were made every day and we received fresh towels daily

As a suggestion, it would be great if the meals included more traditional Greek dishes and authentic local food options – this would really enhance the overall experience

😍 Oh! It has a gym and massage 💆‍♀️! It has children playground 🛝, so it’s convenient for children and toddlers! So enjoy !😉 You can see our photos and videos if you found them useful please like them🥰

We rotated between the mini park, splash park, and small pool which gave my son variety and excitement. The adults tried the water park too which was fun. My son also enjoyed the children’s playground and mini disco

Very nice place for a family holiday, had a great time in the pool and the bar especially. Food in buffet was very nice and had very diverse options

A few things could be made better in our opinion, there was no where to hang towels after shower, only one mirror in the rooms, which is in the bathroom, could do with another, top up of tea, coffee sugar and milk could be more often as well as the “mini bar” as 4 bottles of water in 2 days is not enough

2 TVS but only 1 remote control and 2 air conditioner units and only 1 control, made it difficult over night to turn on or off air conditioning and TVS! Things that were lovely and perfect: The rooms were very clean and perfectly placed around the pool

Restaurant food was lovely many different options available and the desserts were to die for! All staff were happy, pleasant and very helpful especially the overnight porter! Overall a very pleasant happy holiday!

Absolutely amused by how very professional the misuse was, I would most definitely recommend to anyone use this spa when and never would you regret doing so many thanks My appreciation goes to specialist Albora

We made a complaint to the reception regarding our glass toilet door making an aweful noise when opening and closing as it was getting caught on something 3 times we reported it and was told nothing wrong with it

i took a video to reception of the door and now small shards of glass. they soon took notice and repaired the fault. Booked a massage/ they changed the time to fit other ppl in so moved our appointment

The manager of the spa was so rude and continually smirked at us. Finally had our couples massage it was lovely and we left them a tip as it was their fault

They have a little shop next to the pool, where you can buy everything, that’s really comfortable. We really love the details here and they put a lot of effort in everything. The beach is right in front of the hotel

Only been here for 2 days as yet but really enjoying how unique this hotel is. I will Send more feedback later. We are home now so I can revise my review

We had a wonderful stay at The Island Hotel in Crete. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything was exceptionally clean. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we loved every moment. Highly recommended!

Beautiful room with private pool (307) Room cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Kindest and very helpful staff

I would especially like to distinguish the wonderful reception staff , Michalis - full professionalism in serving guests and the reception manager Cathrine, who dealt with every request of guests quickly and positively

The service was excellent and so friendly. The whole place was clean and the food was fine for us. The area of gouves is relatively quiet but that was perfect for this break

After 4 days, the hotel kicked out the animation which know from earlier visits, put a new terrible, in Russian, no one speaks, children's disco is walking in a circle, the evening disco is a song by the orders of drunken Frenchmen

We left this wonderful place on September 26th. This was our first stay at a St. Constantin hotel and I know I'll be back there. The service in the restaurant was very nice

Spent last week in this paradise place. Service, food, cocktails, activities, staff everything was flawless. Especially loved the fine dining on-site restaurants, morning yoga and the pool group exercises

Heaven on earth, we spent Christmas and New Year with you and my husband has not stopped talking about it since. The staff were amazing and went the extra mile on everything

The place is very clean, stylish and a real 5-star hotel. We went to free Pilates session & cookie session. Service is very accommodating, sauna open specially for us untill 21:00 instead of 18:00

They had fantastic vegan options at all the restaurants we visited from the breakfast buffet, to the Blue Monkey, Xasteria and Minotaur which we truly appreciated. The property was beautifully maintained

The very first thing that struck us was the beauty of the place — absolutely breathtaking. But also the cleanliness, the facilities, the room, the food, and the professionalism of the staff

She even arranged a personalised lunch bag for our return trip, which made my daughter so happy. I’ve travelled a lot, but it’s rare to come across a hotel of such remarkable quality

A wonderful summer stay – full of warmth and energy! The hotel would definitely benefit from some light room renovations, and there could be more sunbeds by the pool – they fill up quickly, especially in the mornings

The staff was nice and helpful, the rooms were beautifully cleaned every day, the food was very very tasty. Overall, the hotel was clean, the pools were clean, the sunbeds were washed regularly, as were the sidewalks

Since the all-day animation programs were full of various activities and a different special program every evening, we didn't have time to go see much anywhere else, it was so delicious and fun

We took our water shoes, but in the end they were not needed, as the beach was just clean sand, nothing else. A shop with groceries and other things right next to the resort if not part of it

First of all, I want to VERY much highlight and thank two wonderful people who made our vacation much more beautiful and enjoyable, namely the animator Mickael and the lifeguard Niko

We stayed at this hotel for a week and we really enjoyed it despite a few issues. The room was not best part of the stay as it had many issues. We stayed in a swim up room in the new building and the room was very modern

Gorgeous hotel, clean and the staff are all lovely. The beds were super comfy but only had one pillow each although we were given extras after asking at reception

It had everything you needed, the food and drinks were excellent, all the staff were amazing and were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, we had treatments at the spa which was awesome, the hotel has a few different pools if you want a relaxing pool, one with all activities and roof top pool there is something for everyone, Hopefully will be back next year to see all the amazing staff thanks you...

Fortunately, the swim up area was very nice with lots of space! We visited the hotel in October and the temperature of the pool was quite cold but we found a rooftop pool in a nearby building which was warmer

Unfortunately, the shower head was blocked due to limescale and the toilet was leaking every time it was flushed. This was disappointing as the room was only a year old

It also lacked storage especially for a week long stay and we were a bit surprised we had to make our own bed (the sheet was just put on the bed)

A happy 3 days, with a lot of food!!! All the employees are kind and helpful. Especially the boys at the pool bar.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ We stayed at Gouves Bay Hotel and overall our holiday was okay, but it fell below our expectations. • Location: Great, close to the beach and town center

Me and my family stayed they're for 1 day, weekend escape from the normal routine, this hotel was amazing, we arrived Saturday afternoon and the reception was SO friendly and kind, they first said to put our stuff aside so we don't miss lunch and after lunch a kind lady accompanied us to our room

The only bad thing I have to say about the room ( specifically 607) was that the wifi was weak (they should put extenders for being able to have wifi even in the room)

The room was amazing, good bathroom, clean beds, and generally a good room

Very clean and blue sea, delicious food (especially liked unlimited ice cream after lunch and in the evening), friendly staff, every evening there was a varied entertainment program for hotel guests

We'd have liked the shower to be a little better kept and the jacuzzi was cold one a couple of occasions, but really we're struggling to pick holes in an otherwise excellent stay - the jacuzzi does warm up quickly

We were here in November with half board. Breakfast and dinners were rich and there was wide range of delicious food (meats, salads, desserts, ice creams). Staff was very friendly and Check in was comfortable

We came in October 2024 and had one of the rooms with the rooftop Jacuzzi - the value for money is incredible, the rooms are great and the rooftop area is brilliant

The food was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, Cretan Corner was a hit. Kritamos is unmissable for dinner and breakfast

In the evening hotel arranged some entertainment for the guests ( even in November). Our booking was trough german travel agency

We loved our stay at the Aelius and have been recommending it to friends and family wanting to explore Crete

We arrived quite late and we were greeted by friendly staff and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were typical Grecian, basic but clean. Our room was located on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the large pool

The drains in the bathroom are connected from toilet, sink and bath so smells do back up a bit. The TV in the rooms only has BBC world news as English Channel and it’s only a 14” screen and is up high on the wall

We had a double bed, single bed, kitchen area, wardrobe and desk. We had dinner saved for us in the fridge with bottled water

The weather was typically 26oc, never an issue getting sun beds there were plenty around the pool

The pools were nice, but one of the pools was losing its plastic from the floor of the pool. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone, unless you really just want a very basic place to sleep

The room I had was ok, but the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the bed was very lumpy, I had to pay €10 for a kettle for my sleep apnoea device
