Hotel was just amazing! Very clean and cosy rooms, combining traditional style with modern facilities. Staff was so nice! Reception called us to let us know that we can have early check in. It is a bit away from the town of Chania but with plenty of cafes, restaurants and several shops around

Very nice location, with direct access to the beach. We booked an apartment with sea view, with a large terrace, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has its own parking and has plenty of restaurants nearby, beachfront as well as in the main street. The host is very friendly, he offered a lot of valuable suggestions for spending time around the island. We arrived at in the middle of the night and he waited for us without any issues. Really good value for money!

The apartment was clean and neat, and the location is quite convenient. The underground parking is a definite plus. However, there are some minor details that, if improved, would significantly enhance the experience. For instance, a dark curtain that fully covers the window instead of just part of it, providing a sponge in addition to dish detergent, and having a convenient place in the shower cabin to put your shampoo and body wash.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. We arrived at check in late due to a flight delay and we were told our room was sold to someone else. They refused to refund us and said they will only give us another room if we paid again.

We was last week in this hotell.Start was katastroff,we come the hotell,reception was closed and nobody get the room.We wait about one hour and then some young man come and not sorry or nothing.The room cleaning,cleaning people stole the toilet paper.Safety box battery was out and i ask reception new ones,she say get new ones at the market.Fire alarm in the room all so battery low.Breakfast was bad,when you came breakfast all items are out.Never ever go this hotell again,and never Apollomatkat again.

Summary :
stayed in deluxe rooms with Jacuzzi, inconvenient designed property, with insufficient sound proofing and basic amnesty for the price. There are bars nearby with late night parties.

Good : Modern renovated , spacious apartment, free breakfast, right near to the road. Helpful staff, if you go and mention your problem they will help you with their best.
We went to Balos beach by an early morning tour. The staff accommodated our early breakfast request. Thank you for that !
Can (must) be Improved :
Soundproofing:
you can hear almost everything from anywhere. Also your neighbors even if our room was not attached with any other room. You can hear flush, you can hear shower from the own apartment.
Noise from the bar:
the nearby bar can disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper like me. My daughter slept perfectly fine. Also its quite a nuisances and particularly rooms 301 & 302 are quite exposed and are directly accessible to anyone.
Bad designed accessibility to rooms & others:
Some rooms (301 - 302) are located at third floor without lift access. The lift is only used for rooms 401 to 402. Many aspects of property does not consider user friendliness
for breakfast you need to get down by stairs and use lift to go on the same level as your room is. Hilarious !!!
The stairs does not consider user safety as well. The stairs are made up of finished granite (which looks nice) but in rains it can get wet and slippery.
the parking area is weird and narrow. if you have bigger car then you better have a great maneuvering skills to avoid scratches.
Lack of proactiveness and lot of reactiveness :
When we arrived the rooms were not ready, even if we checked in 4 hours after our time (communicated in advanced). The AC was not working, jacuzzi was not cleaned ( you could see the previous users soaps :D ). I doubted if we were given the room we paid for. I never used the Jacuzzi :P
Upon complaining they responded really well but I spent 2 hours figuring out what is working and not.

everything was great, from the location to the actual hotel. Very good looking rooms and garden. Tasty breakfast with plenty options m. The staff was very polite and the place is very clean.

very good location, very clean and very comfortable rooms! Dimitri is the best host i ever met! very precious and correct advices and recommendations! He offered us free fresh orange juice, in the fridge we found water and a good bottle of wine! The pictures are exactly like in reality, so you will not have any bad surprises. Like he said: “nothing less, nothing more”! if all the hosts would be like Dimitri, we all will be happy to travel, without worries! Very quiet, tavernas and supermarkets very close, free parking, beach in the front of the hotel! so, what else would you want for a perfect location for your holiday? thank you again, Dimitri, for helping us to have a perfect vacation!

Location: There is a bar with live music on the opposite side of the street and an arcade directly under the hotel. It was difficult to fall asleep after a long day. Beach is accessible in 3 minutes, which was great
Room: We had a wonderful room with jacuzzi and hamam inside. We were happy to experience such luxury. However the sound proofing was not there. If you have neighbors, you will hear them well.
Service: Good service, everyone is friendly and helpful. However the reception desk is almost never manned (in October, at least)

Great location, right on the beach, with stores and restaurants in walking distance. The room was very clean, recently updated and with all the amenities one needs in a holiday. The host, Dimitris, it’s an awesome person, very helpful and very friendly. He recommended us all sorts of day trips to beaches, restaurants, or hidden gems.
